Daniel helped me with some plumbing issues a year or so ago, so he was the first person I called when I needed a quick fix. We arranged a day/time a week in advance (my choice) and he arrived right on time. He quoted a likely price on the phone without having seen the issue, and, when he completed the work, charged me about 1/2 of that price... more in line with what I had hoped. I did not ask for a rate reduction... he just determined that the job would not take as much time, and reduced his rate. He's a pleasant guy who knows his stuff, gets in/out quickly, and cleans up after himself.
Call Daniel. You won't be disappointed.

We had a dangerous gas leak that the Gas company said was not their responsibility. Luckily it was spotted in time. Daniel came right away was professional and took care of the job quickly. Reasonable prices, well definitely call him again if we need to.

We actually had plumber fear. After having so many plumbers over the years that knocked holes in our walls without fixing anything, or finally finding a good one, only to have them move out of the area, our plumbing needs were piling up. We finally thought to use Yelp to help us. There were so many great reviews for DVS, we bit the bullet and called him. We've used DVS Plumbing twice now. First he installed our gas cooktop. I could have had the store install it, but I wanted to make sure our gas line was up to code since it was 34 yrs. old. Dan replaced the gas valve and flex, and installed the cooktop. Simple and painless. Confident we had finally found a professional, we called him back to install new bathroom faucets in two of our bathrooms and since the plumbing was old and neglected, he replaced the supply lines, angle stop valves, and p traps. It's wonderful! Dan is prompt, quick, knowledgeable, friendly, cheerful, professional, and guarantees his work for 1 year. He also recommended a top notch electrician for us!

Daniel and Greg showed up and with humor and honesty took care of our faucet and handle issues. $125.00 - for prompt, friendly, and honest service. DVS will be our plumber from now on! Thanks guys!

Had an urgent problem on a Saturday morning and call DVS because of overall positive reviews. Although he could not make it that day he said he would be there first thing Monday morning between 7 and 8 am. I called again Sunday because of some other problems that I had just noticed. Dan answered the phone and told me he would be prepared to solve the other plumbing problems I had just discovered and gave me estimates for each job. Based on what I had heard about pluming bills his charges seemed reasonable. He arrived on time, worked quickly and was out of there in less than 2 hours. He left the place spotless. He will be my ""go to guy"" for any plumbing jobs in the future, big or small.

Had Dan over to lift a toilet and put a new wax ring. That was $125! Seems pretty pricey for me. I used him due to all the yelpers saying he is a good plumber. Didn't know he charged that much after being done in 10 minutes. In fact should have been a sign when he said I was like his 11th stop that day, and the day wasn't done. Not to mention he seemed more concerned about telling me that the inner workings of the toilet were needing replacement. I had to tell him that is impossible since they were replaced just over a year ago. He did bring it up more though and really REALLY wanted to change them for ""only"" $85 since he was at the house. And then he even went so far when writing out the bill that he put on there that since he would have to come back that it would be $135. Also I should note here that I asked him if he had a clip to put on the tube inside the tank as it doesn't need it but it would be useful. He said he will not touch inner workings unless he replaces it all. Yea right ... is there liability? No. Sell me the clip then and put on the bill that you only replaced the clip. Or do like any other plumber in town would do when charging $125 to replace a wax ring and just put the $2 item on for free. I know it is just a couple bucks as I went and got one.
I also mentioned about the dishwasher overflow having spit out some water when the dishwasher runs. He went out to his truck, came back in. He had that hose off in about 2 minutes (I had cleared out below the kitchen sink) and he walked into the hallway out of sight from where I was sitting, then came right back into the kitchen and showed me there right at the hose opening a clog of a sort. Just seemed strange as why did he go into the hallway? and why was the clog just right at the opening? Maybe it was real.... I'll never know. He put the hose back on, I had to put everything back under the sink and just that part of the job was $85!
Next day I go into the bathroom where he replaced the wax ring and he didn't caulk around the toilet. It WAS caulked around it when he picked it up and moved it to change the wax ring. I called him monday the 20th of august, I told him I needed the caulking done around the toilet and that it did have the caulking around it before. He said he could come out and caulk it wednesday morning, that I'd be his first appt between 7am and 8am. I was on his calendar he said. He said he doesn't caulk around the toilet unless the homeowner asks. How would we know to ask unless he tells us that?!?!? Of course I took the day off, figured what the hell, I'd have to get up early, but its an excuse to have the rest of the day to do nothing. It is now 4pm. No Dan. A no show, no call, no nothing. I guess because this was not an over sell item, this was coming back to do something for free. Something that already should have been done.
He charges way too much for what he does, he does try to over-sell big time. I would recommend someone else unless you are in a pinch. He is a good salesman is what he is. He does the least he can get away with and especially if he can't over sell. But he did get the wax ring on and no leak there. I still don't know if the dishwasher line is fixed, if that was the problem, won't know until I run it. There are a lot of good plumbers in town, try someone else.

There was a ""running water sound"" in our wall yet no water anywhere. This situation is not your friend. We searched Yelp! and found DVS Plumbing and Daniel. Daniel came out the next morning at 7 AM, arrived on time, assessed the situation and recommended that American Leak Detection come out to locate the leak. Daniel made the arrangements. The probable area was marked off by ALD and Daniel returned the following morning at 7 AM. He spent most of the day finding and fixing the problem in coordination with ALD. The cost for the work done was reasonable. More importantly, we felt like we were in good hands with an honest and knowledgeable professional. Daniel helped us navigate something we knew little about; we highly recommend DVS Plumbing, Daniel and his team.

I woke to the sound of gushing water..... found water pouring out from the A/C return on the ceiling... have never had that experience before so I wasn't sure what to do... I turned off the water to the house... googled 24 hr plumbers... don't know why I didn't Yelp it first... anyway.. called KC's 23 and a half hour service first... the lady on the phone would have been great at her job if she was a interrogator ... I lease my condo... have for almost 5 years now and have actually never even spoken to the owner except once in an email... started my lease with a company and then switched to direct pay to the owner 3 years ago... anyway... the only thing the lady at KC seemed interested in was the owners phone number... said she needed to be sure who was paying for the job and how they would be paying... I explained I had taken care of any and all repairs since I moved in... that I actually didn't even have a personal number... just a work number and at midnight I didn't think she would be at work.... the lady seemed satisfied I could pay the $89 service fee for them to come out... and I would have to have cash when they showed up... ok.. let me run down to the ATM right now...WHAT?... but because I needed someone NOW!.. I agreed... I was informed they would then CALL ME BACK when they could get someone to come out..... should be in a few minutes... 30 minutes later I must have dozed off and missed the call ...I called them back about 1 hr after the first call and was informed THEY HAD TRIED TO CALL ME BACK ONCE AND I DIDN""T ANSWER... is this real... am I wasting their time...I hung up...
Sooo... I did what I should have done first, I Yelped it and called DVS plumbing based upon my fellow Yelper's suggestion... They answered quickly... listened to what I said... explained it could be a variety of things coming from where it was coming from... I may need an A/C guy... but that they would have someone over shortly.... I opened the front door... in case I feel asleep again.... and in fact seemed to have dozed off again when about 30 minutes later the DVS guy was at the door... calling out a greeting to me and calling my phone... haha... gotta like persistence... anyway ...I feel bad.. it was 2 in the morning and I was tired and don't remember his name.... but he came in... and got busy finding the issue... which required him to moved things, did I mention I live in a condo on the second story.... he went out and got a ladder and carried it up... spent about 30-45 minutes checking everything.. then gave me the name of a very very reputable A/C company in town... I know they are reputable because they are the A/C company I have used for over the past 20 years with never a hitch... I guess birds of a feather do flock together... because DVS's service was every bit as reputable, efficient and honest as the other company has always been.... so he gave me the info... apologized for not being able to help me... wished me well... and said goodnight... THAT WAS WHEN I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG... based upon my experience with KC's plumbing I knew it was going to be pricey... but the DVS guy seemed to forget to collect... when I caught him out front to pay him..... he smiled and again said he was sorry for what I was going through and that he wasn't able to help... wished me a good evening and drove off..... with no money.... I am not sure these guys understand how plumbers are suppose to work or treat you.. they certainly don't seem to follow the mode of most of them I have used... these guys make me feel comfortable... a wierd feeling for me when a plumber is in my house at 3 in the morning...
Thanks again

Had to call them back in December after my dish washer leaked all over and made a mad mess. They were quick to respond, professional, and priced fairly. Dan did a great job at putting my mind to ease. Good job Dan!

Found Daniel after reading all these great reviews. He went over within a couple of days (it was a non-emergent leak) and fixed the issue quickly. Amazingly sincere and kind, soooo refreshing to find someone like Daniel in this day and age. Thanks Daniel... you're my forever plumber now!
