Duvall is the only plumber willing to get in our very small crawl space and fix the many issues with our 92 year old home. As you can imagine, old pipes break and leak often. Jay and his group are always there to figure out a solution for our problems. Their rates are reasonable and fair. I would never call anyone but them!

Our sink in the kitchen got clogged. We tried using all sorts of DIY to fix it to no avail. I called around for a plumber to compare prices and I was getting a quote for $400-$800, another plumber came to the house but couldn't unclog the sink. He started talking about opening walls to find where the damage was. I kept searching for a plumber and found Duvall's which is highly recommended by our neighbors. I'm so glad I did, not only did they fix the problem, the charges were a fraction from other plumbing companies. The owner and daughter were very nice. I would definitely highly recommend Duvall's. They are friendly, reliable, honest and not overpriced. Thank you

My AC unit had a refrigerant leak. I called them, and the repair men arrived same day within a couple hours.

They didn't try to up-sell me on anything, gave me 3 choices (refill it, refill it and add a dye to see if they can pinpoint the leak, or replace the whole HVAC system as it's old and the leak might be in an un-repairable spot and would require replacement anyways). We discussed the choices, I chose one, they explained the process, answered a few of my questions (they were very knowledgeable).

Prices were Fairfax-fair (i.e. not cheap, but no price gouging either). This will likely be my new HVAC go-to company.

Review is long overdue. Tyson and Cody replaced by bath tub two years ago, and then I called them to do plumbing for laundry remodel. Both excellent. I usually feed contractors, and I regret I did not feed these guys, do not recall why. Either they declined or I got bogged down with other things.

Tyson, saved me $$$$ when I wanted the washing machine hose drain into the cast iron pipe , meaning he had to cut pipe and insert PVC, Probably saved me $1000. Recommended the old fashioned way, have washer drain into laundry tub.

Work was professional, fair priced.

Review overdue since I completely forgot, and just got reminded when I came online to find their contact info so I can cancel a hot water heater replacement I have for this week.

I temporarily changed the thermocouple. I had called Duvall Plumbing, spoke with Jay, very knowledgeable- did not try to sell me hot water heater, but I requested one since mine is 14 yrs old, past its time, but my virus paranoia, led me to postpone replacement and change thermocouple.
Will used them when things calm down, to replace tank, as well as perhaps replace the furnace and maybe AC as preventive measures.

I wish I knew of them over the past 40 years since I owned many rentals. During this time I had a good friend doing HVAC but my plumbing was done by different people all with issues. Showing up drunk, etc. That is reason, they did not have steady jobs or a company.

. Going forward DUVALL IS THE ONLY COMPANY TO USE. HARD TO FIND DECENT COMPANIES TODAY. DUVALL HAS INTEGRITY, FAIR PRICED, AND NORMAL PEOPLE DOING THE WORK.

Duvall Plumbing was awesome! I made a big mistake and grinded fried mushrooms in my kitchen sink (garbage disposal) and got the pipes clogged up bad. We called around and some places were downright RUDE.

Duvall customer service girl on the phone was friendly and professional. Cody came out the next day nice and early and did an awesome job. He was professional, knew what he was doing, and did a fantastic job. Service charge was very reasonable and the job was handled perfect. This company is highly recommended!!! Thanks Cody. These guys are total pros. From the time I discovered my hot water heater had failed to the time they had finished the replacement was a total of two hours and twenty minutes. That's got to be some kind of record. Exceptional service!!! I highly recommend.

First, a review from service before there was Yelp - Duvall was the third quote I received for furnace going bad many years ago. Company 1 (too long ago to remember name) came in and said I needed a new one gave me a price. Company 2 came in and just asked who diagnosed it, they just said they typically agree with them and gave me a price. When Duvall's came in they looked it over and said, yes it's old, yes you'll need a new one relatively soon, but, for now we can do this. It lasted probably ~15 years more. They could've just said I need a new one.

Now, the current review. The furnace died. I did my due diligence and received various quotes even though I wanted them to install it. When they didn't come in cheapest, I called them and told them that though I wanted their service, they didn't come in lowest. Duvall's then changed their quote enabling me to hire them.

They even helped me with a very minor non-plumbing situation,

They came in the unclog my kitchen sink . I had asked them to bring in a snake . It is one mans job . The other guy just stood there . Went to the basement. To listen to the noise . They ran the snake and unclogged the kitchen sink . I had to sign on there receipt that there work is not guaranteed. They were there for 25 min charged me $300.00 . They told me for two people labor . I was shocked as his son did not do anything except rolled the coil and carried it back to his dad's truck . I even told him your son is not interested in this job . He said yes .

Was referred by a friend. I called Tyson and he had me check a couple things. Wasnt an emergency. He called me Monday morning and scheduled an appointment that day. John and Rey showed up on time and handled the problem efficiently and very professionally. They were great!! I will definitely use them again!
