Terrible! They charged me so much money for a washer pan install just the pan install... and they did such a bad job. He was on the phone with someone during the whole time. It's just Sloppy work. The guy just half ass it. If it was pricey and he did a good job then fine but no. They are OVER PRICED and SLOPPY WORK. DONT GO HERE.

Terrible Experience!

I would NOT recommend calling Goettl A/C Simi Valley, unless you would like to be overcharged, and taken advantage of. The Service Manager appears to operate as a shyster.

I had to call them (3) times to have a technician out to review my Air Conditioning Unit. When the Technician came out, he was courteous, but immediately went into the ""Sales Mode"" telling me that my A/C Unit (Condenser / Compressor) was old and had issues. Essentially, it needed replacement, without specificity.

The technician then called his Service Manager Cody, who provided me an outrageous Cost Estimate (Vague) over the phone, and said that he would take care of me. The Service Manager immediately asked ""How is your Credit""?

I told the Service Manager that I needed to think about moving forward with the work, and requested a written quote, including a Scope of Work. The Service Manager never provided me with a Quote and I was left to pay a $90.00 Service Fee that only tells me that my A.C Unit is bad.

This, I already knew. Stay away from this company.

I had a leak somewhere that was coming out in the front gutter. I had already called a two plumbers, a leak detection company and the water company before my handyman suggested a camera in the drain. I Goettl who came out promptly, resolved the mystery with a super friendly and knowledgeable serviceman, Paul, with a fair price. He did that which nobody else could. They are in my book as my permanent plumbers from now on.

Technicians never even came to my house and I'm still leaving a 1 star review.

Had an appointment between 1-5pm on 8/6/24. The morning of the 6th at 11:09am, I get a phone call from Goettl and they left a voicemail saying they're able to come sooner if it works for me. I called them back at 11:12am, said that would be great, but I was in Sherman Oaks but that I could be back in Simi Valley in 30 min if I rushed home. They said that would be fine and said they would forward the updated time to dispatch and the tech would meet me at my house in 30 minutes. That phone call ended at 11:15am.

At 1:50 pm they still hadn't arrived. I called twice for an ETA, at 12:25pm and again at 1:45pm. The second time, they informed me that since I hadn't responded to the voicemail they left me at 11 am, they continued with their list and relegated me back to my original time frame. I told them I did call them back and could send them call logs if they would like to see for themselves. I told them I was in the middle of something in Sherman Oaks when they called that I had to stop to drive back to Simi Valley so that I could accommodate them coming early. Barely an apology from the guy on the phone.

I called back at 1:55 and canceled my appointment. Found someone else who doesn't have a 2 star average in Yelp to come take care of the issue. I can't wait to NOT give Goettl my business.

We recently needed a plumber and we were so nervous to just pick one off the Internet, since we were in a hurry, that's exactly what we did and thank goodness we chose Goettl plumbing to do the job! Bernardo Alcala came and saved the day! He was so polite, efficient and knowledgeable. He was supposed to arrive at 8:00 and arrived at 7:59! That showed me right there what I was in for! I'm so happy with Goettl and have them in my contacts with a note saying to ask for Bernardo!

We used Goettl Plumbing and so glad we did! Jonathan Rojas and Alex Merino worked non stop in 100* weather and fixed our issue in a timely manner. These guys cleaned up everything, they were very polite, explained everything and answered all my questions. They had cement work to do to fill in driveway and inside our house and their work is flawless! So happy we called this company. I feel they do things the right way and I'm happy I now have a plumber and can recommend them to family and friends!

I would leave no stars if I could. Terrible communication, there was zero follow-up from the tech after the visit, had to have another company come out, and they showed us that the Goettl tech just left our AC unit frozen and half uncovered! Absolutely unprofessional.

after contacting my credit card company, goettl stated it was a valid charge because i signed the billing on the date prior to knowing they lied about my edibility for the rebate. this company and staff are criminal, this is why the trade of being a plumbing company has a terrible reputation of being liars and cheats. i will add these comments to all of the websites that they advertise on to steal money from people on !!!

I had one of my AC units go out last week. It's a Goettl system that came with the property. It's an older unit, 20 years plus, but it was working fine so we figured we'd ride it out as long as it lasted before replacing it.

We have family visiting, so this was not the best time for it to die. I took a shot and called Goettl and Frank came out to take a look. He had the system up and running again, but it wasn't easy. Amazingly he had the parts on his truck to replace the fan motor (again, this is a twenty-odd year old unit!)-- but he had this specific part it in his truck! lol. Amazing, actually. He ran into trouble from shoddy work due to a service call from another company before I owned the residence. His attitude was ""I'm going to fix this... no matter what."" I must say, his commitment was incredible. He kind of turned into MacGuyver to get this thing breathing again.

Frank really loves his job and the entire experience was fantastic, which I'm sure I don't have to tell any of you on here how rare that is. He answered a litany of questions about AC-- he explained Goettl's systems, how they work, and what I should look for in my new system. So what did I learn? That Goettl stands behind their products even if they're 25 years old. He could have just said-- ""Listen, you really should just bite the bullet and get a new system"" like two other companies did that I brought in for quotes, but he didn't. He fixed it. No upsell. And now I am a hero this week. I will replace the entire system when it goes down again and I'm using Goettl. Thanks Frank! You're awesome.
