Dutra was recommended to us once we were informed our problem was more than snaking a line for a blockage .... Needed to replace a piece of sewer pipe leading to the street which had cracked. Our encounters with Brian, Kyle, Valerie, Chris and his crew from the get-go were awesome. Not only did they respond immediately, but then fit us into their schedule quickly to get us back on track. Pricing is fair, customer service is top notch and workmanship is clean and thorough. We had our 100 year old line replaced. My property looked back to normal in 3 days! Our downstairs toilet flooded and we found out our Orangeburg pipe was collapsed. A huge problem because the town sewer line was situated across the street. Dutra had to dig across our front lawn, dig in the street, and part of our neighbor's lawn. Chris and his crew replaced the pipe. They worked fast and cleaned up after. Honesty, Integrity and Quality! I cannot speak highly enough about Dutra Sewer and Water!!! Was walking in my yard on the weekend and fell into a septic pit that had been abandoned 30 years ago and collapsed. No homeowner wants to deal with this type of disaster!! I got several estimates from other sewer companies that ranged from ok to the absurd deal with my abandoned septic system. The next day I called Dutra Sewer and Water in Montvale, NJ at 7:30 AM. I dealt with both Mike and his staff and they knew exactly what I had. Mike was over looking at my property within 30 minutes of me calling and fully explaining that what I was dealing with was very common and could easily be rectified! I was provided a full detailed estimate of all services and costs. We agreed to proceed, within 2 days the job was done with all permits receiving full inspection and approval by the town. Even more impressive was when Mike provided me with the estimate I explained that I was very concerned about my landscaping being destroyed in the repair process. Instead of using a huge machines that could cause allot of collateral damage Mike brought in 7 of his people to hand dig the job and still kept the price in-line with his original estimate. The end result is truly amazing and we are back to normal!!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!

When your home's sewage line fails, its a big deal! We had our basement flooded from our laundry room wasteline. Our plumber said our main sewer line under the cement slab was broken after snaking it and hitting a blockage. How were we going to get this fixed!? They reassured me they would swiftly handle the situation. They checked the line with a video camera, pinpointed the break and fixed the pipe within a couple of hours of work. what an AMAZING company!! we bought our home in 2015 and since day one of moving in we've had sewer backups! a whole year back and forth and plumbers quoting us an exuberant amount of money to do the work. Chris came in at a VERY reasonable price to the job. He came in and ON TIME and got the work done!
