I first want to say ditto to Tim S review. I called Dunedin Plumbing figuring they are reputable and I like doing business locally. However, I already knew I needed a new water heater and did not need to pay $145 to tell me I needed a water heater. First he gave me outrageous quote for a new one. Upon discovering that my existing water heater is still under warranty. He called the office but they would not go to get the replacement for Bradford White. I got some kind of story that they had warranty replacements before with Bradford White and did not get paid. I think they did not want to bother and that was a lie. Dunedin plumbing also stated on my invoice that the customer cancelled, which is also a lie. You are the ones that would not perform the service I requested which is to get the water heater under the warranty. I called two other plumbing companies who had no issue honoring my warranty. All they had to do was go to Ferguson plumbing to pick up the Bradford white. They are the ones that deal with the warranty. The other two plumbing companies were outraged that they charged a service fee to do NOTHING. I will never call Dunedin Plumbing again nor will they every get recommended. SHAME on them.

Never call Dunedin Plumbing. If you need a new water Heater, they will send a tech with NO water heater. The objective is to get someone in your driveway so they can charge you 135.00 for showing up and doing NOTHING. Last Friday, this is what happened to me. When I realized the scam, I called the owner and he LAUGHED at me. I was supposed to get the first 45 minutes for that price, but when he saw I needed a water Heater and he couldn't do anything, the rest of the time was spent HOUNDING me for the 135.00. I went with Gus' plumbing and was completely satisfied. The tech came to remedy my problem, not just charge me 135.00 for NOTHING. At Ace Hardware, I asked them about plumbers and they wouldn't touch Dunedin Plumbing. All they're after is staking the first claim to you, not actually fixing your problem. Go with Gus.

Josh did a great job installing our new water heater and explained everything he did and why he was doing it. We called and left a message with the answering service on Saturday when we found our old one was leaking, and they called us back first thing Monday morning and were out here doing the job Monday at noon. He called to let us know when he was on his way and was right on time. Far better than the other two plumbers we've used in the past. Heartily recommend them.

Came out on a Friday for a slow draining sink. Spent 45 minutes snaking it. Paid $170. Had to call back Saturday morning because it was still draining slow. Did not get a call back until Monday. They came back out. Spent 20 minutes and changed another $78. For a job not done two days before.

We've been dealing with Dunedin plumbing for months now, working through some plumbing issues with our 1950s house. They have always been reasonably priced and have explained everything prior to performing any work. Today they came out to fix the problem once and for all, by replacing part or our sewer line where roots had grown through. Mike B was the one who came out today and did a great job as always. He's very friendly and always makes it a point to say hello to our pets lol. The install looks very professional and should last for years to come. I highly recommend Dunedin Plumbing to anyone in the Dunedin area!!

Would give zero stars if I could. Worst plumbing (if you want to call them that) co ever and VERY unprofessional! They will come out, fail to make the repair and still send you a bill. Steer very clear of these people, you've been warned!

Three years ago I had a water heater installed for the total cost of approximately $1300 by Dunedin Plumbing. I just discovered it's leaking and had them out today - and although the water heater itself is covered by warranty, they want to charge me another $600 plus to replace it!! What a rip off! No discount given that they were the ones who installed it only 3 years ago. In addition to that idiots who installed it 3 years try to put in a drip pan that was twice the size that should've been and they had it folded going up the sides of the walls which would've contained no water whatsoever. I had to send them back to get the correct size drip pan and they probably crack the water heater along the way! So unhappy with this company - buyer beware!

I was quoted $135 for first 45 minutes and $39 for each additional 15 minutes; agreed to. They sent two plumbers and billed me at twice the quote! $135 per plumber for the first 45 minutes, and $39 per plumber for each additional plumber! The bill I received was for $275 per hour for plumbers! That is not what I agreed to when placing the service call. They chose to send two plumbers, not my request. I will NEVER use their services again. I told the office when I called as much and their response, was OK.

Totally took advantage of me! My pest control service was worried that my problem was due to a crack in my exhaust pipe. I told Dunefin Pluming this up front. I scheduled the pest service to do a smoke test to check the line with the Dunedin Plumbing present to do the repairs. The watched my pest man work for an hour doing the test, and did nothing not even help him. Charged me for an hour & then told me the had to book another hour and a camera fee to come back and check the pipe. They knew a camera was going to be needed but did not bring one. I was irritated that they wasted my time and money. But, OK. So the come back and video test another week later. But, take no video and can't tell me for sure if or where the problem is. Almost $1k. Useless. Zero help. Don't waste your time or money here.

I had a pipe leak in the guest bathroom and scheduled Dunedin Plumbing to repair the pipe. They sent Bob and an apprentice. Bob had the young man perform the repair. They cut out a small section of the pipe. The next day I woke to find water outside the guest bathroom the pipe was leaking from the area that had just been repaired by Dunedin plumbing. Called them right away where they told me that the plumber will not be able to address it till much later in the day. They did finally get the plumber Bob back to repair it. He claimed the leak was not from his work but a new pinhole an inch away from the original. Here are photos showing that the leak was from the area they soldered. Due to all the water I had to have a water remediation team come and dry the floors and walls. I contacted Dunedin Plumbing (Scott and Jim) to get them recognize or take responsibility for causing the damage cover the costs of remediation. The owners Scott and Jim were very rude denied responsibility and hung up on and said they were done with me. Do not use them as everyone else has said they do not stand by their work. They are very rude and have no customer service.
