In an effort to prevent any mid-winter issues with my furnace, I started searching for local HVAC companies to do some preventative maintenance on my furnace. I settled on Dunco and the person I spoke to over the phone was friendly. I also recently noticed the furnace short-cycling and wanted to get the issue corrected before it got too cold.
Alexis called me prior to arrival and gave me an accurate time (something the cable companies were never good at..!) for her arrival. She listened to my concerns and was very helpful and happy to explain a couple issues. In the end, the furnace worked perfectly and I had my questions answered. This was my first time having an HVAC company come out (bought the house in March) and it was a great experience.

My elderly father in law's furnace went out and he couldn't get his usual people to respond for a day and a half. In the middle of winter. So we called Dunco as soon as they opened. They got right on it and had a man there in an hour. Initially parts wouldnt be available until the next day. But managed to get them in that afternoon and get it fixed without waiting another night. Eric the tech on site and the office staff's communication to us was excellent the entire time so that we, and my father in law (whose very hard of hearing) knew exactly what was happening and when.

We had had two other HVAC companies help us figure out the dampers in our two-story home plus a basement. It seemed that the air was coming out in all the wrong places at the wrong time. In the winter the heat was full blast in the upstairs which left the main floor and thermostat constantly running colder while the heat would make the upstairs 8-10 degrees hotter. For example, we had to set our thermostat to 65 so that where we slept wouldnt get hotter than 75. When Dunco came out the service tech was super informative and took care of the dampers and made it right. We call them when the seasons change to keep the house comfortable and the HVAC running efficiently.

I would like to say working with Dunco Heating & Cooling was great! Everyone I dealt with gave great customer service and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Tyler and Larry were the service technicians who replaced both my AC and Furnace units.
They arrived at the scheduled time and were very quick in starting the work. They both were very helpful in answering any and all questions that I had regarding the installation process and the products themselves.
I would highly recommend Dunco Heating & Cooling to anyone!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this business! FIRST- the customer service is top notch and WAY impressed me! Clint was extremely helpful in helping my husband and I pick out a unit that was appropriate for our second level after our home remodel. He was extremely friendly, and made us feel like a friend, rather than just another customer. When my husband and I had trouble understanding all of the unit's perks- Jason the installation tech came out to help us understand everything, and eased out minds with all the questions that we had! They were very timely with getting to our home, and solving the issues that we had!
When our main level unit needs to be replaced, we will without a doubt use this company. They have a variety of units, at all different price points! Some close friends of ours had just had their whole ac/heating system redone, and they used this company. Like us, they had nothing but a positive experience with this business. If you are considering updating and/or replacing your ac/heating system you need to consider this company and all the services that they provide! You will not be disappointed!

I've used Niehoff/Dunco for my own residence and a rental house, and have always been happy. Today I was particularly impressed though!
Skip had my AC fixed within an hour of my initial phone call, and on a day when its supposed to hit 97, I couldn't be happier! He was quick, very polite, and honest. I believe that you are a reflection of your company, which tells me that Niehoff/Dunco must be great if they hire such wonderful people to work for them.
Inexpensive too, I highly recommend them.

Initially called to come work on my less than 5 year old air conditioner. When they arrived, suggested I have them come back for annual cleaning. After this was scheduled and they completed, the unit went down (less than 2 weeks later) and was charged nearly the cost of the first 2 visits on the 3rd call. Paid in full the first two bills but when I asked for the manager to call me back to at least discuss the 3rd bill, never heard back. Called and left repeated messages with their staff and also wrote them back directly requesting this time. Never heard from them until nearly a year later received a collections notice for the third bill. Would NOT recommend them for any work!

These people are terribly hard to work with when trying to deal with your work schedule. They are not flexible at all. They set an appointment with me a week in advance, and then cancelled because their tech was done with all his other jobs early and did not want to wait until we got off work. We purchased a service contract with them that I want to cancel due to their unwillingness to work with our schedules. We are paying for their time, they are not paying for my time and I refuse to take vacation time to work into their schedules. I am also considering filing a complaint with the BBB.
