Best plumbers in Aptos/Santa Cruz area! I've just used their service to replace our 12 y.o. water heater to a fancy tankless one. I got 3 bids on this project and Duncan's bid was not the lowest, but the reason why we hired them is because they have good reviews on Yelp, they are locals and they took time to provide a very detailed bid with what and how they will be installing the new heater. Everything went smoothly and we are pleased with the quality of job done! We now have unlimited good quality water!!!

Of course our toilet started acting up on a Friday. I contacted Duncan Plumbing and got an immediate response and an excellent quote! They were at my home within hours. Nui the technician was knowledgeable and explained what was going on. It was repaired under an hour and I wasn't left broke . I highly recommend Duncan Plumbing and would 100% use them again.

I called Duncan plumbing today for a leak under my kitchen sink. Nui, came out and he was really amazing! We also discovered another problem, which he was so helpful about. They really are a 1st class company, and it shows! I will only use Duncan plumbing in the future!

Nui and Josh got my kitchen sink unplugged (and I had REALLY plugged it up!) in less than 1/2 hour and left the area under the sink cleaner than before. Very competent and professional. Plus, I called at about 9 and they came 3 hours later. Great Service!

A fantastic experience all around! My fireplace gas valve failed and resulted in a gas leak. I contacted Duncan Plumbing right here over Yelp and Scott responded very quickly. He had Jorge and Joshua come by within an hour and Jorge did an incredible job fixing the valve without having to get into the wall. They were fast, very efficient and I'll be looking to this company for any future plumbing needs!

If my review were based on their first visit, I would've given 5 stars because Enrique was friendly, efficient and did a great job cleaning my pipes.

But I give three stars today.

Yesterday my disposal wasn't working. I looked at it, and on the disposal is a Duncan Plumbing sticker. So, assuming that they had originally installed it, I called them.

They arrive. Quote us around $450 for a new one... I had a bunch of plumbing done six months ago by two different companies, Duncan being one of them, so I asked them to see if it was under warranty. Turns out::: They didn't even install the disposal that they put their sticker on. They jsaid that it is a company policy they do whenever they work on someone's plumbing... Yea, ok, I get the whole marketing aspect of things.. BUT.. it was confusing as hell..

NEW RULE: Don't put your damn stickers on my property. Don't put your stickers on things that you didn't install, OK????? It is problematic!

But that's not the reason I'm so completely turned off. They didn't even LOOK at my disposal before giving me the quote-- to see if it just needed fixing... They went straight to selling me a new one. In a time where our landfills are piling to Mars, give me a break...

and IT GETS WORSE / BETTER...

They leave. I call around.

My fellow neighbors, believe me when I tell you that there was only ONE plumber that I called that offered me free advice over the phone and told me there is a RESET BUTTON underneath disposals. I pushed it and IT WORKS. That one honest company???? ANYTIME PLUMBING.

Duncan Plumbing answered their phone immediately and set up an appointment quickly. Jorge and Josh definitely seemed to know what they were doing and solved the problem. They were efficient, and honest in their assessment and the job was completed in good time. I am very pleased.
