My condo built in the 1970's did not have hookups for a washer and dryer when we bought it. We decided to hire Mike to install hookups in the shed out in our back yard (no place for them inside the condo). Mike came out for two days to install pipes. He had an eye for aesthetic and installed the pipes in the crawl space going from my condo to the outdoor shed so that no ugly pipes would be showing anywhere through the house or outside. I don't even want to think about having to install pipes in a tiny crawl space but mike did it somehow. He also hooked up the drain for the washer to my sewer line so that the soapy water from the washer will drain there instead of out into my yard or into the crawl space which I thought was smart and professional (other plumbers had told us it would have to drain into our back yard which would leave soapy water on the ground every time the washer would run and I didn't want to do it that way). Mike was experienced and installed the plumbing in a timely manner. Other quotes told us that they would need 3-5 days at least and mike did it in 6 hours spread out over two days. My project was not an easy one since we have an older condo and so I was very impressed.

Called in the morning and made an appointment for the afternoon as my toilets were backed up and backflowing into the shower... not something that could wait. Duke's confirmed an afternoon appointment so I took off work early, missing work and pay, and he never showed up and wouldn't answer or return my phone calls. Obviously do not recommend this business at all.

Came one afternoon to check my non-emergency job. Very thorough.
Came back on appointed day on time,called to let me know he was on his way. Job completed expertly & neatly, cleaned up etc. His rates are very fair.
Definite recommendation.
