I am so grateful that a friend recommended Ducor Plumbing to me. Having them work on our house was a wonderful experience. I had been told by other workers who had gone into the crawl space that we needed a lot of pipes replaced soon and secured better.

Hasting and his nephew Rufus worked together. They explained patiently and thoroughly the work to be done, and showed me pictures; they submitted a written bid exactly when they said they would (which was prompt); they came to work when they said; and I could tell they were working hard and well.

Yesterday, Rufus accompanied me in our crawl space to show me the work they did and to explain to me how plumbing systems work. That was an awesome experience!

For me, working with Ducor went beyond the high-quality work and communication, as well as what I think is exceptionally reasonable pricing: As someone ignorant about house repairs, I find it difficult to trust service providers; but I felt I could trust Hasting and Rufus, and I found their work and integrity so exceptional that it makes my world feel like a better place.

We had a wonderful experience with Ducor Plumbing!

We needed to get a new water heater installed and reached out to Ducor based on a neighbor's recommendation. And we're so glad we did.

Rufus and Hastings came out to our home, arrived on time, and provided an estimate in a timely fashion. Upon approval, Rufus worked with the city to secure a permit, and quickly put us on calendar for the install.

It wasn't an easy install because we were moving the placement of the heater in the garage, which required re-running the hot/cold pipes and gas. This meant Rufus had to navigate our shallow crawl space several times to get all the water and gas pipes capped and the news ones installed. Rufus and team were pleasant the entire time, very efficient, and got the job done in a day.

Upon inspection, there were only a few minor corrections with the inspector commenting what a great job Ducor did.

We're so happy we went with Ducor and have since brought them in for other plumbing needs.

We had a major backup in our downstairs bathroom and laundry room on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. We have worked with Ducor plumbing for many years and while Hastings was not available his partner, Rufus, was at our place within an hours. Ultimately, he cleaned out our sewer drain all the way to the sewer lateral, tested the drain was properly flowing, and replaced the gasket wax seal on the toilet. Given that this was an emergency and on a holiday weekend, I was extremely pleased with the Rufus's response, diagnosis, solution and very fair price.

Nearly a month later toliet and drains are working just fine.

Highly recommend Rufus and Ducor Plumbing.

Hastings came to our rescue during an emergency plumbing situation, pipe clogged with roots, he came on the weekend, all toliets and showers backed up. He looked into the situation brought the proper equipment to view & diagnosis the problem. He explained what the remedy would require and we hired him immediately, he came on a neighbors recommendation. He did a great service was professional, curteous, timely, economical, & effective. We would hire him again.

We called Hasting at Ducor Plumbing on a Saturday because we had broken pipes on both sides of our older home in San Rafael and we had to turn off the water entirely for two days. He came out the same day to look at the job and give us an estimate and returned on Sunday prepared to fix it. He did a great job, and I would recommend him highly. He is friendly, efficient and willing to work in the rain on a Sunday to get our water going again. Hasting was like a miracle worker. I called a bunch of other plumbers and no one answered the phone on the weekend even when they advertise that they're open on Saturday. Hasting is reliable and a hard worker. I will call him whenever we have a plumbing problem from now on.

Were able to come out on short notice. Did not / were not able to do any work the first day, as they said they would do.
Came the next day.
I would not hire this company for anything besides entirely straightforward clogged drains or other plumbing lines that are clogged.
I needed help troubleshooting a French drain and the reality was that Hasting and his son couldn't or didn't follow what I was proposing, even with diagrams. The minute I started talking things that were elementary engineering and trouble shooting, Hastings started talking over me, pulled out his phone and called HQ, declaring that that would be more money. Both of them 100% ignored everything I was saying, whether it was because I'm female or they didn't understand or didn't want to understand, I don't know. It was a really big waste of $750 and I regret hiring them.

After calling all the big plumbing companies and nobody being able commit to come out for an urgent job, I called Ducor Plumbing about an emergency pipe clog on a Saturday afternoon. Hasting was responsive on a Sunday afternoon after a plumbing emergency. We shut our water main off due to a broken outside pipe. After calling several of the 24 hour plumbing services and getting recordings, Hasting came through! Highly recommend him.

Not recommended! Had him out to clear the main sewer line (VERY pricey for his slightly more than 1 hour of work). After he was gone I found my tile floor permanently scratched. Then, over the course of the following weeks, the toilet began leaking underneath. I took it off to see if I could fix it and found the old wax ring had been left on. Very shoddy work.

Great plumber! We had a broken pipe at 10:30 Sunday night. Mr. Ducor arrived within 45 minutes. He shut off the water supply to the house and came back first thing Monday morning to do the repair. Well done and reasonably priced. Highly recommended and will use in the future.
