In the middle of a heat wave, my A/C conked out, so as you can imagine, demand was high for HVAC repair. Alex and Team Ducks had the fastest response time and were total pros, walking me through the pros and cons of repair vs replace without pressure.

Days later, I got fed up with a slowly developing plumbing issue and so I called Alex in for another project. He came by and pointed out a home solution I should try first, and it totally worked. He literally talked himself out of a job. That's the kind of honesty that goes a long way with me. Plus Alex is polite and clearly articulates the problem and proposed solution.

I've had so many bad customer experiences in other realms lately, it was truly refreshing to have such a positive one. Ducks is legit. Five stars!

When my husband called to make an appointment, the owner was very helpful, super talkative and clearly passionate about his trade.

The Tech was great! He called ahead to ask if he could come early, was friendly, wore a mask, and after he done inspecting the Unit, explained the next steps.

While he was waiting for information on a part, he asked how long ago we replaced our filter. He took a look at it, had us pull it out, and ran the unit to see if that did the trick. Low and behold, the pilot lit and we were good to go.

My husband and I bought our first home last year and needed quite a bit of plumbing and HVAC repairs. We also needed to replace our 26 year old water heater that gave us about 3 minutes of hot water at a time. After asking around with friends and family and getting several quotes for the water heater, we found Duck's through the SMUD Contractor Network and have been super happy with all of their work. They gave us the best quote for the water heater by far and helped us get a $2500 SMUD rebate that made the electric heat pump water heater a total no-brainer! They've also fixed quite a few plumbing and HVAC issues for us over the past year and are always courteous, professional and easy to work with. Alex is a class act and usually gets back to us right away. Can't recommend Ducks highly enough.

Extremely satisfied with Ducks Plumbing & Heating service!! Both Alex and Alberto replaced our properties main sewer line without no hesitation. My wife and I were impressed with how fast they were able to complete the job on time, and provide us with a fair quote that met our budget vs other companies that are too pricey and extend out your projects deadline. I would highly recommend others to take advantage of their service as these young professionals are moving in the right direction of perfection and customer satisfaction.

Alex met with me quickly at my OLD Tahoe Park home, I was so impressed with him, his listening and articulation skills, I hired him on the spot!
He has just completed 2 jobs for me, the first diagnose why low water pressure in the home, he found the very old pipes full of rust and corrosion,
so he has replaced all with 50 yr. warranty materials. He ruled out no problem with my waterheater, so no extra cost there. Honesty!
2nd job: Alex has eyes wide open when he works, and found multiple sewer system issues under the home, rusted-out, cracked, broken and back graded pipe, (I saw the photos, really bad), but he completed all that was needed & i am so thankful he caught the problems. Very neat & tidy, so cordial and kept me informed.
I will recommend Ducks to everyone I know! The BEST!
