This is the second time I have used Ducks Plumbing. Alex previously installed my water heater and yesterday replaced all the hot and cold water lines throughout my house. My house was built in 1940 and had existing galvanized pipe lines. Alex is so patient and answered all my questions in the week leading up to the work. He is very knowledgeable, professional and businesslike. At completion of work, he walked me through and explained everything that was done. His price was in line with other quote. It is reassuring to know my Plumbing is being done up to the latest codes with a company/owner i trust.
Looking forward to him installing an a/c unit in the spring.

Just got my house supply lines repiped. Did a great job and feel that he was honest. Ran into a couple of issues and he gave me options on both. One required them to switch from PEX to copper for connecting a guest house. He did not charge me for the extra materials cost. the second was due to how the guest house was branched from the city main. The option here saved me a bit of cost, but will need to revisit when we replace the main. Water pressure much better. Now don't have to worry as much about my 70 year old galvanized piping.

I called Alex when my toilet started acting up and ended up hiring him to add a gas line into my kitchen. Alex is extremely professional and responsive. When he showed up at my house, he explained the issues I was having with my toilet. As a single woman, I've had encounters with aggressive contractors but Alex is super nice and calm. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and explaining the nuances of plumbing to his clients.

After he finished the toilet work, I mentioned the gas line work and he told me he would send me a quote by the end of the day (he did!) and he did an amazing job. When they installed the gas line, they had to cut a whole in one of my walls but his drywall guy came out to touch up the drywall and it was also another quality experience -- very professional and a lot of attention to detail.

My new gas stove was delivered yesterday and it works so well!!
On top of his quality work, he has a paperless invoice process (VenMo friendly). If you're looking for a plumber during the COVID lockdown, Ducks is the way to go!

Last year in the middle of the night in December- our heater stopped working! Instead of sending out hot air, it was sending out cold air! First thing in the morning we reached out to Ducks - and their response was so quick. They were professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and totally saved the day.

I called Ducks Plumbing heating and air when my air conditioning stopped working. I had previously had two other companies come out and told me my air conditioning needed to be replaced. The other companies were not out very long and didn't even look at my air conditioner. They said it was older and needed to be changed out. I wanted another option so I found them through a neighbor who said they do excellent work. Alberto was the technician who came out. They quoted me $125.00 for a diagnostic but would credit that back to the cost of repairs. I thought that was great. Alberto found I only had a bad contact or something like that. He also told me the system was 10 years old and still had much more life left. Alberto took the time to explain the repair to me. He changed out the part and cleaned the unit for me. He was in and out in about an hour. I know have nice cold air blowing from my air conditioner. I can not stress enough how great my experience was. Alberto really knows his stuff! Thank you for the terrific honest service!

Ps. When It comes time to need a new air conditioner I will be calling Ducks plumbing heating and air!

Our hot water heater had it's 20th birthday this year and we celebrated by getting a new one. As it turns out, the technology of water heaters has changed a bit in 20 years. Luckily, we called Ducks Plumbing and Alex was able to give us very thorough advice about the newest models, and all the options available, including some very substantial rebates available from SMUD. We decided to go with an all electric model which comes with a large rebate. Alex and his crew had our old unit out and the new one in within days. They were fast, efficient, and very competent. He also handled all the permit requirements and set up the appointment with the building inspector. Alex submitted the paperwork to SMUD and, even in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, went out of his way to help us obtain our rebate. I couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended.

I needed a diverter replaced in my bathtub so the shower and faucet wouldnt run at the same time anymore. I didnt need emergency service. We agreed that he would come a week later to check it out. He kept his appointment! Im a facility manager and am working with tradesmen all the time and I almost always have to follow up with them but this plumber was organized. Im impressed! He had to order my vintage hardware and then came back to replace it. Everything was easy and high quality with this plumber. I will call them for plumbing help in the future.
