I needed a shower valve replaced. From the moment I contacted them to set up the appointment, to their follow-up call after the repair, I was (and am) completely satisfied. They were flexible in scheduling the appointment, their guy was on time, he was friendly and polite, he quickly completed the repair, he cleaned up after himself, and the charge was in line for the repair.
I am not sure about the bad reviews below, but my experience was completely positive. I will definitely be using them again.
Ed H.DO NOT USE THEM. Waited for hours for now estimate and they did not come. I was call at 1:52 PM and at 3 PM I called and they hung up on me 3 times. Use them at you own risk.
Very disappointed in our treatment by this company. We had an emergency. They came out and proceeded to work to up sell us on work that didn't need to be done, but worked hard to scare us into having the work done. Really tried to take advantage of us. They ultimately over charged us for the work done, but we didn't sign up for the extra. Be careful.
Katherine C.I had them out about a year and a half ago for a main sewer rodding. They cleared the line and I had no issues. They sent me a coupon a few months ago and I saved it sure enough main line again. A nice young man named Matt and I did not catch the other mans name came in cleared the line again, gave me tips on my disposal in the kitchen to help prevent clogs. I would have them again. I called this morning they were here in under two hours I also liked that a got a call after to make sure I was happpy
Karen S.Came to give an estimate on our hot water tank. Had no clue what was wrong and didn't have any tools with him. Good grief, how does he do his job?
We used these guys to clear a stopped up kitchen drain that appeared just shortly after moving into our new home. They came on a Sunday morning. The plumber, Patrick, was very clean and polite. He snaked our line and cleared the stoppage within a short time. He also took the time to explain several parts of our new system, and was quite helpful. The fee for the service was quite higher than I've paid from other companies at other locations in the past. The charge was $265. Where we moved from, a typical cost to snake a line was $99. But the work was done well and we were happy with the service. We'd consider using these guys again but we'd likely shop around to confirm best pricing beforehand.
Maria S.Dan was excellent - I highly recommend him for any plumbing issue. He was professional and kept us informed at all times.
Rita M.Patrick is one of the most professional technicians I have ever had the pleasure of inviting into my home. He was able to tell that I was extremely frustrated with the treatment and run-around that I'd received from another plumbing company, and he worked hard to be straightforward, and transparent in each step of diagnosing my problem. I would not hesitate to work with him again if the need arose. Duane Blanton will be out again tomorrow to repair my issue, and I will write an additional review of how well the appointment goes. Again, Thank you Patrick - you are gem!
Plumber was not very polite...and seemed extremely lazy. Was having an issue with my toilet leaking. My toilet had been running and I attempted to fix myself. During the fix, I must have damaged the pipe that goes from the wall to the toilet. I called DB and they charged me $150 to install a new line assembly (part costs about $3). It took him about 25 seconds to install. This fixed that problem (kinda). However, I was back to the original problem of my toilet still running. I'll be the first to admit I'm not handy...however I know this involves something being wrong with the stopper and it's an extremely easy part to fix for a plumber. Instead of fixing he wanted me to buy a new toilet and then pay another $300 to install. Basically, I'm out $150 and my problem is slightly worse than when I attempted to fix myself. Now I'll need to call another plumber to fix the problem I thought was going to be fixed in the first place. I'm smart enough to know it shouldn't cost $350-$500 to replace the stopper. As a matter of fact, he didn't even determine for sure what the problem was....just assumed. On top of this, the part he did install was not tightened and he had to come back later that day to fix it, since it was leaking. He hadn't completely tightened the nut.
In addition, I asked him to diagnose a leaky bathtub faucet (since he was there). Without looking at anything, he told me I'd need a specific expensive part that he'd charge me $150 to fix...plus I'd have t get the part. I searched that ""very expensive"" part and found it for $13 online. He did suggest I can maybe ask the manufacturer to send me the part for free. However, If i'm paying $150 for a project that'll take him 2 minutes to install, you can supply the part.
Only positive was that they were at my house within a half hour of my call on a Saturday morning. Would not recommend. Wish I was more patient and did more research.
Lisa C.When you see that winking smiley face... run because your about to be 'Hoodwinked' They came out to unplug a kitchen sink for my elder and disabled parents. They made holes in the laundry room wall without ask or telling my parents what they were doing. Turned out, they didn't even have to damage the wall, they used a machine to blow out the pipe right from the sink and it worked; too bad they didn't try that initially. They changed my parents 795.00 dollars, when I went to the office to complain about the holes in the wall I was told.. 'were not responsible' they were so rude! Don't get Hoodwinked. . there are plenty of better plumber's in the area!
