They are the bottom of the barrel for foundation repair. Every room in my 2 story home was damaged (chimney was broken away from the house due to over jacking up, cracked walls where there were none, doors misaligned bad, they cracked windows, concrete patches were left rough and high) They attempted sheet rock "repair" which turned out poor overall, some of it cracked after drying. Original issue was 2 small cracks upstairs and a closet door hanging up! And yes they should receive a negative 5 stars. NEVER sign a contract where you give up your right to sue for trash work, you will regret it.

The Du West team just finished helping solve a flooding issue coming up through our foundation by what ended up being a pretty simple solution. The concrete slab looks great, job was well coordinated by Jennifer out of their Houston office and the crew who did the work were professional and courteous. They came when they said and kept our place clean thoughout the repair. They did what they promised and we are pleased.

If you could give no stars I would. Constantly call you when they are trying to get your business but can't get a call back after they leave. They are very arrogant after they get paid and don't show up for appointments if you call for warranty work, then say you have to reschedule and they are booked a month out. They come up with ridiculous excuses when you question them about work that you paid for but find no evidence that it was completed or find evidence it wasn't completed. Don't allow them on your property!! I don't know if there are any honest foundation repair companies but I know there are less expensive and less arrogant ones.

I am only giving Du-West one star because I'm not allowed to give them a zero. They were called to my residence on 11/21/18. They informed me that I would have to pay extra if they had to pull out the 'big machine'. I was perfectly okay with that and agreed to the price. 2 guys came out and left my home to go back to get the 'big machine'. They returned one hour later and, after about 10/15 minutes, appeared to have fixed the problem. On 11/23/18 I had the same problem again but did not contact Du-West until the next day 11/24/18 since the problem was discovered after business hours. I called Du-West and I was told that there would be another (pricey) service charge for them to come back out on a weekend. Here's the thing, I do not mind paying for a service. I just expect the service to be done. I should not have to pay for everytime they come out and try to get it right. Another plumber and the city of Houston came out and confirmed that the line had not been properly/fully cleared. I called the manager, Alton, on 11/27/18. He stated that he was not in the office at the time, but that he would be in later on that day. He said he would call me back then. I never heard back. On the next day, 11/28/18, I called Alton again and left a message with a receptionist who stated she would give him the message to call me back. Here it is exactly two weeks later and I have yet to hear back from him. This company is too large to have such subpar customer service. I would highly recommend, if you are considering using these guy, that you DO NOT do so. You will be extremely disappointed.

Don't use Du-West if you want someone who honor's their warranty. Their "Lifetime Warranty" requires all kinds of things to happen perfectly when the home is sold. If not done to their satisfaction, Du-West will void their warranty. They have clearly created a process specifically designed to allow them to void warranties and get that liability off their books. When I asked their customer service representative about this, they got mean and nasty on the phone. There are tons of reputable foundation companies in Houston. Don't get sucked in by their pretty website. They don't want to standby their work.

Under no circumstances should you use this company. They destroyed our already Harvey flooded house and we had to ask them to leave. We are still discovering problems caused by their inadequacy. We were told that the work could be done in a week. They stayed at our house for months and every day caused the situation to get worse. Finally they did not come at all.The only way we finally received a response from them was to do a charge back on our credit card.

If I could give zero stars I would. Called for foundation work and paid over $9000 for repair. Several months later the house was in worse shape than before the work. Gaps between the walls and floors that you could stick your arm through. Called again for 'warranty'. Warranty only covers the work they did, which was around the perimeter of the house. After the perimeter was secured, the interior basically collapsed and would cost another $9000+. Ridiculous! The initial consultant basically told us, after all was done, that he would not have had the initial work done if it was him. Dishonest company. Had the owner come down for a chat and he basically told us we were out of luck.

Had Du-West come do a foundation inspection after water began bubbling up through floor boards during Hurricane Harvey. I suspected a foundation crack. The gentleman who came out was very professional and courteous and he quickly ruled out any foundation issues and tracked the problem down to a faulty patio door installation. No charge for the consult and I could not be happier.

I have had DU-West out to my home on numerous occasions. They have performed plumbing and A/C services for me. They are always prompt,courteous, and professional. They always identify the problem and a solution quickly. Once the problem has been identified they always have jumped right to getting the problem fixed in a timely manner. I would recommend Du-West for all of my plumbing,foundation, and A/C needs. They are truly the best in the industry.

First thing, the guy that showed up could not find the clean out pipe on the outside of the house. He did not speak any English so when he found an issue he told me "es broken" and when I asked what was wrong, he replied "call office"... By the time I was able to get the office on the phone, the guy had driven off. I found the clean out with two scoops of a shovel in the front of the house exactly where I told him it would be. Needless to say, they will not be getting my business for any type of plumbing work in the future. I had to call another plumbing company to come out and actually bring the necessary tools to put a camera in the pipeline and find the issue. Don't even waste your time calling this plumbing company...
