D'Spain Sales & Service, Inc. Wiley and Lois D'Spain started D'Spain Sales and Service in Bandera, TX in 1974, after they took an invitation to purchase the air conditioning, appliance, and water supply units from the Langford Company, where Wiley had been employed for 10 years. In the beginning, Wiley had an inherent aptitude for all things related to mechanics and a true passion for wind energy, having grown up on a farm in a nearby county. Lois grew up in Eastern Texas and eventually moved to Bandera, TX after a delightful visit one summer. She and Wiley had been together for 23 years before starting the company. Wiley handled all of the HVAC, appliance, and groundwater product sales and services and services, while Lois performed all the accounting practices. Working late evenings and weekends after her primary job, Lois handled all the financial and accounting practices of the operation.

As a leader within the operation, he supports and recognizes his employees for each credential they achieve. He and his team participate in regular training required by the regulatory body. In 1983, we transferred to our current site at 804 Eleventh Street in Bandera. Moving into the 3,500 square-foot building gave us the needed room necessary to store and provide more products to our community, as well as a specialized water system engineering department to help landowners, cultivators, and homeowners.
