D&S was FANTASTIC at correctly identifying the cause of a sudden water problem we had been having in one corner of our formerly dry basement and fixing it. Scott listened carefully to what I knew about the history of the our 83 year old house that we are only the 2nd owner of. The house was ahead of its time when built and had perimeter drainage tiles that emptied into a sump, which works whenever there is rain. But about a year ago we started having water come through the basement wall in the front corner of the house, but it only happened when we got a huge rain -- and only in that corner of the basement.

I showed Scott pictures of when our most recent rain had flooded that area of our basement, showed him the area that had flooded and showed him the sump and the D&S guys took it from there. It turned out my assumption was wrong, and Scott verified that the problem was that the outside downspout had been diverted into an underground pipe heading away from the house and that it was plugged up. They rodded it open... the cause of the problem was identified and confirmed. They recommended abandoning that underground piping and created a new diversion outlet that is above ground and nicely hidden under our shrubbery.

Last night we had a massive rainstorm, and we didn't have even a drop in the basement. We're back to having a totally dry basement again! They also sealed up some cracks between our foundation and the concrete driveway and also rodded out the other drain that was on the other front corner of our house to make sure it didn't develop a similar problem in the future.

These guys are smart, know what they're doing, and are honest and friendly too. The price was very fair and I'm extremely grateful. I recommend them highly for any type of sewer work, including dealing with the sort of storm water issues I was having.

I called on Memorial Day about a mainline sewer clog, expecting to encounter a closed business, or at the least, disgruntled technicians. Instead, I got an instantaneous and friendly response. They told me there would be a plumber at my house in an hour and one arrived within 45 minutes. He was friendly, efficient, and answered all of my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. The amount they charged was very reasonable. I will definitely call D&S the next time I have a plumbing issue!

Failed to inform neighbors they were shutting off the water two days in a row. When I said something to the workers about it, they blew me off. Legally, they are required to let the people who will be effected prior to the work being done.

Sean and Scott were amazing! We had a bathtub that would drain, a sink that made the toilet bubble, and a toilet on the other side of the house that sounded like the Kaskaskia River. They showed up early, explained the problems, and provided extra information about how to help the lines in the future. Great service, great price!

I called D&S after water stopped draining in our house, and the first plumber I contacted recommended calling a sewer service instead. They showed up within thirty minutes, fixed the problem (blocked sewer line) over the next hour or so, and charged $100, which was less than I was expecting. Can't ask for more than that.
