on Monday woke up with no hot water, got hosed buy another company trying to over charge and lie to me because I AM A WOMAN. (unfortunately for them, very educated in many trades)

BUT...

let me tell you... D&S plumbing, hands down best in the area! came out and same day...install! No lies or gimmicks. Just the honest truth. I highly recommend this company. Im over the moon.

One of the benefits of living in Warrenville is the referrals to Drummond and Son Plumbing from many of my neighbors. Drummond has been excellent in every way, reasonable rates, fast and on time, very respectful in my home, etc. The quality of their workmanship has always at least matched and often exceeded their cost. So I'm giving my recommend of Drummond to you. Enjoy!

Not honest plumbers. Corey Drummond ran off with the deposit toward the job and never did the work.

Apparently D&S has had complaints with the Better Business Bureau; D&S also has an F rating with the BBB as well. After a day of work, this plumber left a plugged in extension cord on my basement floor with poorly tightened pipes in the ceiling. I was glad to have caught the quickly puddling water before it got to the cord.
The plumber claimed he could not find parts, but when I - check this out - googled for it, I found it immediately.
When I refused to pay the plumber until he finished the job (which was 4 days over the 1 day of predicted work), he called the cops! Fortunately, the police had him write up his plan to finish the work and have us both sign it, prior to getting paid. I then spoke to his mom, who owns the business. She said they needed the money for her car problems! Meanwhile, my only functional bathroom is not yet functional... I strongly recommend against even considering using this ""business.""
It is too bad. This used to be a respectable family business. This is no longer the case.
