We have been relying on Drucks for over 17 years and they have provided excellent service, installing a water heater, unclogging or replacing drain pipes, and replacing faucets.

Called with a service request for an apartment I own. Although they had done work for me several times in the past, they advised me that they ""don't work on apartments"".
I don't think there is any difference between pipes in a single family home and a multi family home.

We called them to replace a light fixture and hang a new one that my wife purchased. I asked for a quote and was told the hourly rate plus a $65 service call charge. I purchased the light fixture. I put the light fixture together. All I needed was the old one taken off and new one wired in. I discussed it at length and was told the charge would be the hourly rate plus the service fee. I booked it. Day of service comes and the technician sat in my driveway for 15 minutes while he was on his phone. Finally came to the door, walked into the room were the lights were to be exchanged, and I begin telling him the project. The technician told me to stop explaining what I wanted, because he had to diagnosis the job, at $89 first. When I enquired as to why, he said it was policy. What's to diagnose, you take one down put one up. The technician stood there dumbfounded when I asked him what he had to diagnose. Never once did he say what the extra $89. would cover. He told me I could either pay or refuse the service. So I refused the service. He then went back to his truck and sat of the phone for another 15 minutes. I walked outside because he was not coming back into my house, he wrote me up a bill with the service charge and diagnosis fee on it. Told me I had to pay him in cash for the service. I told him no and to leave my property. After another few minutes of him sitting in his truck he again gave me a bill, this time with just the service fee, he had crossed out the diagnostic fee. I told him to bill me. He stated he needed a cash payment and would not leave until I paid. I told him again to leave and bill me. After a few minutes of just staring at me and tapping his clipboard, I turned and walked into my house. He finally left and they billed me the service fee. DO NOT hire this company. They are crooked and charge you hidden fees. When you report it or complain they state say they can charge whatever they want.

I had the light fixture done by Bell Electric and they charged me less (Half to be exact) of what the service fee and diagnosis fee from Drucks was. If you want to be cheated and lied to and over charged then use Drucks. If you want honest and reliable service HIRE SOMEWHERE ELSE...

In response to the representative, I have the copy of the bill you mailed me, along with what your technician left in my mailbox. It most definitely is your company and I will not take down my review. I stand by what I wrote 100%. And yes, your technician did nothing, then tried to extort cash from me. Paperwork doesn't lie.

Quick service! Very helpful and honest. Had an issue in the basement at my mother in-laws and they came right out and found the leak in the basement. Told me how much it would cost up front before even doing the work. I appreciate that honestly. Reasonable pricing. Def recommend.

Excellent service. They rearranged their schedule to get done what needed to be done. I had water leaking in my basement all over my carpet. The plumber came in and just sat down in the middle of this gross mess and got to work. I was impressed. Expensive though. Over $400 for an hour of work. Replacing the 2 shutoff valves coming into the house. The only thing I didn't like was they reused some of the old pipe fittings. Pipe fittings are cheap. They took them off so they should have replaced them. Fittings age and weaken over time. Kinda setting me up for another service call in the future if they fail now. Would have been 6 stars otherwise. Update as of 5/01/2019. The owner of Drucks Brian reaches out to me asking for pictures of the reused fitting. I sent it to him. At that point he reached back out to me and told me it doesn't appear to have been removed and reused when I clearly watched it happen. He continued to argue with me. He even offered to send someone out to look at it to determine if it was reused. Then told me that if they didn't think it was reused I would be charged for a service call. Really? Ur going to threaten a customer? I saw what I saw. I watched what happened and you tell me it didn't. I never asked for anything to be done or redone. Just left a review of what took place and my thoughts. The proper way to handle this situation Brian would have been to send your guy out replace the .97 cent elbow and have 100% satisfied customer rather than argue, insinuate that I'm a liar, and threaten me with more charges. I will never return and hope this review is helpful to others in making decisions on who to choose for service.

I contacted Drucks to fix 2 leaky hose bibbs, front and back of the house. They charged over $260, which I paid. Unfortunately with the late spring snow storm, I didn't have a chance to test their work. When I finally connected the hoses several weeks later, both of them still leaked. Drucks sent a more senior plumber to investigate the cause, and determined that both faucets would need to be replaced, for which they quoted an additional $400. When I declined to have that done, I was charged $62 for the second service call. Druck's reponse was that the warranty period had expired on the initial repairs, so they are no longer responsible. Now I have paid over $320 and both faucets continue to leak.

I had a house inspection done to find any potential problems before I sold the house. I needed an electrician and a plumber. I called for estimates and knew about what it would cost. I decided to go with Drucks because they only charged for one service call for both services, so I thought it would be more economical.

The electrician came on time and the work was within budget, if you don't count the service call of $60. But, I thought with that I would save money on the plumber because there would be no service call charge for that one.

Turns out, after rescheduling twice, that the plumber came without his sniffer tool (after I expressly requested it) and charged $75 to diagnose the problem and ANOTHER $75 to fix the problem. Really?? When other plumbers I called knew what it was without even coming over, they had to charge $75 to figure out what the problem was? The inspector found the problem. They just had to fix it.

I called the office (because they had to collect payment before they left) and we negotiated a different price, but between the plumber and electrician I paid $300 when I could have gone with two other companies and paid $175. So much for getting a two-for-one deal.

Came out and recommended costly repair of frozen pipe. It would require to tear out all tile in shower, then brought up they have a ""buddy"" who does tile and would come out to give an estimate. Coincidence? I don't think so. After all said and done, $400 later and problem wasn't even fixed with an estimate from tile ""buddy"" which was $1500.on top of that he cut the pipe from my sink thinking it was the shower pipe. I then called a reliable plumber who fixed my problem for under $100. I left a message for the general manager at Druck's who couldn't even return my call after 3 calls from me. Incredibly rude and horrific customer service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. More than twice the price of competitors and did not stand behind their service. After spending over $400 to have the line under the house cleaned less than 2 weeks later it was backing up again. They told me if they found even a tampon that I would get charged $400 again! Rude and unhelpful. $150 for EVERY other place I called! I recommend FLUSH. So nice and they sent 2 guys not just one and we're fast!
