For the sake of transparency , they should tell you labor is billed at $450 an hour . They fixed my relatively new AC in 2 hours on 6/05/2025. They charged $588 to replace my capacitor with the part costing $40 . There is dignity in work and I don't mind someone making living but I feel like I was held up without them using a gun . They are competent and courteous but while they're smiling in your face , they are summarily ripping you off . Just for context , I see the doctor who did my heart surgery every July for $35 . Call around before you make a decision . These guys have no shame .

I have no idea how this company has so many positive reviews. This company came and replaced a tub spot, shower handle, and 7 shut off valves. The total cost of the work was $3,224.70!!!! This work was done for my handicapped mother who does not speak english well. They take advantage of customers. I called the manager to have him reduce the bill, but he refused. So he is going to take us to court. If you are considering plumbing work, I would highly advise on looking elsewhere. Check the yelp reviews as well.

Stay away from these crooks. In 2021, we had them replace our A/C condenser and replace a piece in our basement. When I looked at their quote, I asked, ""Wait...if I choose my own A/C condenser...that seems like it's going to save me like $2,500, is that right?"" ""Yes, but we wouldn't be able to cover that with our warranty."" ""But the unit costs about $3,500, so if it has any issues, the odds of those issues costing more than $2,500 are extremely remote."" Their rep shuffled his feet, gave me some shifty side-replies, and I eventually pinned him down to, ""Yeah, probably."" So they tried to screw us out of $2,500 for the privilege of choosing our A/C unit, which is the one I picked by myself after 15 minutes of online homework. They did the same thing with the component in our basement, except they hurried and ordered the part without my OK, before I could do the same thing and order it myself. They overcharged us about $800 for one $250 part. But wait, there's more. To be honest, we missed a couple payments to them because we were going through a lot of family crises, and they put a mechanics' lien on us and a law suit, so we paid them IN FULL 2 days after being served the papers. Fast-forward to May 2024 (when this was written), and we were served new papers for a renewed lawsuit...for a bill we paid in full 3 years ago. I learned that the mechanics' lien was sill in place on our property, which would have hurt us if we had tried to refinance or sell our property (which thankfully we hadn't). So this company hit us with a wrongful lawsuit because of either shoddy book keeping or a desperate attempt to squeeze money out of people because maybe they're starting to fall into the red... Either way, steer far clear of these people. They have predatory practices in place and are either grossly incompetent at record keeping, or that's just another way they try to steal from their client base. Dream Team my ass. They're a g-d nightmare.

It shocks me seeing all the negative reviews here, but so many positive comments on google. I used dream team for hvac, and electrical work. I never had a problem with them. I'm a vip member. Yes they are expensive, but they get everything up to ""code"" they are able to pull the permits, and I like their financing options.

Edit: after speaking with a manager, who spoke with the owners, Dream Team has refunded half of the charge claiming a ""task error"" and have listened to my feedback about the lack of transparency in their nonrefundable arrival fee.

Our sump pump pipe in our crawl space became disconnected at the elbow joint resulting in water spraying all over the floor. Despite the problem being visible through the access panel, the technician said the charge would be $888 just to enter the crawl space and diagnose.

You should be aware that they charge also $69 just for showing up and this fee is not waived or included in any work that they do. It's in addition to any work.

So $957 for 15 minutes worth of work and the price of a PVC elbow joint. I don't know how in the world they justify that.

A year later we are having to replace the parts again. Will definitely not call the ""Bad Dream Team"". I would have expected the original repair to last more than a year.

We had an urgent electrical issue and Dream Team came out and fixed it promptly. Being impressed, we requested a quote to have several items corrected in the house, as there was some quite ... creative wiring.

After receiving the quote, I made the decision to move forward. Phil, our original tech, came out and spent most of the day working. Everything was wonderful! However, a single light outside was not able to turn on, which he said wasn't an issue, he'd be back the next day with someone else to get it working.

Almost a month, and several calls later, turns out it was a bait and switch, as they now want $1900 to fix the last light! And, they left a part of my back fence dug up where the wire was supposed to go, so now we need to fill it in.

Update: after I posted this review, things were finally taken care of, about two weeks later. I will leave this review as, make sure everything to be done is clearly written down and nothing is left to complete before your technician leaves.

Nope you pay for a service then when you follow up with them about a receipt or additional estimates for other services you get a lady who either doesn't relay the messages or workers that don't wanna work

I had a really great experience with the Dream Team. They have been out twice to help with plumbing issues and have been professional and fair with estimates & fees. I would definitely recommend them.
