Service and quality of work was great our electrician Shawn A. Was polite explained what needed to be done and gave us a quote. His work was done in a timely manner and the price was exactly what was quoted. Definitely deserves 5 stars! I would request Shawn S again very satisfied.
Jack H.Stay away from these crooks. In 2021, we had them replace our A/C condenser and replace a piece in our basement. When I looked at their quote, I asked, ""Wait...if I choose my own A/C condenser...that seems like it's going to save me like $2,500, is that right?"" ""Yes, but we wouldn't be able to cover that with our warranty.""
""But the unit costs about $3,500, so if it has any issues, the odds of those issues costing more than $2,500 are extremely remote.""
Their rep shuffled his feet, gave me some shifty side-replies, and I eventually pinned him down to, ""Yeah, probably.""
So they tried to screw us out of $2,500 for the privilege of choosing our A/C unit, which is the one I picked by myself after 15 minutes of online homework. They did the same thing with the component in our basement, except they hurried and ordered the part without my OK, before I could do the same thing and order it myself. They overcharged us about $800 for one $250 part.
But wait, there's more.
To be honest, we missed a couple payments to them because we were going through a lot of family crises, and they put a mechanics' lien on us and a law suit, so we paid them IN FULL 2 days after being served the papers. Fast-forward to May 2024 (when this was written), and we were served new papers for a renewed lawsuit...for a bill we paid in full 3 years ago. I learned that the mechanics' lien was sill in place on our property, which would have hurt us if we had tried to refinance or sell our property (which thankfully we hadn't). So this company hit us with a wrongful lawsuit because of either shoddy book keeping or a desperate attempt to squeeze money out of people because maybe they're starting to fall into the red...
Either way, steer far clear of these people. They have predatory practices in place and are either grossly incompetent at record keeping, or that's just another way they try to steal from their client base.
Dream Team my ass. They're a g-d nightmare.
Joseph C.Requested service for a shower that was leaking and was given an emergency call quote for same day service. We got no call NO SHOW. Contacted the office and they could have cared less. Feel free to contact me if you think there is any motivation other than horrible customer service.
We called to repair a toilet flushing mechanism. During the un-requested review of our house, the plumber found a leaking garbage disposal. They told us the cost of the service but would not breakdown the charges between labor and parts. They charged us over $1000 for both. I found the garbage disposal listed on Home Depot for $139. I did not lookup the toilet flush part.
The company grossly overcharges and refuses to reveal the cost of parts. Obviously, we will never use them again.
Stan H.I tried making a call for an estimate on (heavier duty) duct cleaning. We were about to make an appointment with an exact time but then found out the estimator had to be alone and not with another estimator at the same time. The session also had to be 1.5 hours long, and my lunch break is 1 hour long. I didn't want to take off a half a day for an estimate, leaving me with only a random weekend/Saturday.
7 AM was the earliest they could do and I'd need 630 AM or earlier during the week. Maybe after 5 PM would've been a possibility during the week, but there was uncertainty if that was a possibility or not.
Then, I was told that they'd give me a call back about their availability. It's been at least a week since that conversation.
The reviews here seem quite mixed.
Jenna T.We had an urgent electrical issue and Dream Team came out and fixed it promptly. Being impressed, we requested a quote to have several items corrected in the house, as there was some quite ... creative wiring.
After receiving the quote, I made the decision to move forward. Phil, our original tech, came out and spent most of the day working. Everything was wonderful! However, a single light outside was not able to turn on, which he said wasn't an issue, he'd be back the next day with someone else to get it working.
Almost a month, and several calls later, turns out it was a bait and switch, as they now want $1900 to fix the last light! And, they left a part of my back fence dug up where the wire was supposed to go, so now we need to fill it in.
Update: after I posted this review, things were finally taken care of, about two weeks later. I will leave this review as, make sure everything to be done is clearly written down and nothing is left to complete before your technician leaves.
If you want to pay through the nose then call dream team. If you want bad service call call dream team. Tech came out and told me 'to read the brochure"" after he couldn't set the day light savings timer for outdoor lights that he had just installed. The tech said he had to see his kids perform in high school event and didn't have time. That was October 2022. July 23 Service manager came out and said he didn't know how to fix it? They also installed a thermostat for my AC in October of 22 and it wasnt compatible with Bryant AC units. I discovered this when I went to Turin AC on this year. Service manager came out, revewed the thermostat, and said it was wired wrong. Jokers. I mean bad as it gets. Service manager they hired around Oct of 22 said he would call me and fix their mistake. Keep in mind I have no AC. I haven't hear a word back from them. Do yourself a favor...call Oliver...slightly cheaper and much better techs by far. Oliver is 610-486-5490. An electrical came to repair 2 recessed light fixtures. We told him that we thought that the fixture needed to be replaced, but he claimed that he repaired them. They worked for several hours and then stopped working. When he came back to check them, he wanted to charge an additional $400 to fix them ( I already paid $218). We agreed on a lesser price for the company to order fixtures to replace them. That was 3 months ago and I have called at least 10 times to follow up on them. I recently complained on a chat line and asked the company to refund my money. i was told that someone would contact me. That was over a week ago and I have not been contacted. During the last 3 months there were also many unreturned phone calls. the work was substandard and customer service is poor.
I've scheduled service with Dream Team two times since buying a contract with them. The first time I was forgotten about with no good explanation how and the second time I asked for a Tuesday appointment but they put me in for a Thursday appointment (a day I am not even at home). The plumbers and electricians are wonderful, however for the high prices and the hassle of their scheduling department, I couldn't possibly recommend this business to anyone.
Our basement had a back-up into tub next to toilet. Dream team came out and did quick assessment then went to work. After recommunicating Mike, the manager returned back to my fiance and I residence as well as went through a detailed job with his colleague Sean/Shawn. Also Amanda was great from customer service in regards to exceptional thoroughness so hence I have already referred some peers.
