Donat came by our house once and told us he could do the drain jet to clear out our outdoor drain system and look with a camera to detect issues. When we were ready to do the work, we talked again, he seemed like a decent person. and he said he'd stop by to look at it again. That was 3 weeks ago. Meanwhile there have been a few heavy rains and serious wall damage in our basement so we really needed the pipes cleared outside. We never heard back from him IF he indeed did stop by to look at the situation. I then called them for 3 weeks, every few days to let them know we wanted to work with them and please call us. Since weeks were going by, I mentioned EACH time that I hoped they did not have some sort of family emergency, to be polite and thoughtful, but please at least let us know if they are too busy to do the work. Nothing, no courtesy call, no heads up that they're booked but can fit you in in a few weeks, nothing. SINCE then did some research and found out they have a TERRIBLE reputation for giving false estimates, refusing to do invoices they can be held to so they can jack up the price AFTER the job, etc. Their ACTUAL machine message says they will get back to you ""in a professional and timely manner"" - sort of a Freudian slip that they do THE OPPOSITE! I left a final message asking them that ""timely"" is NOT THREE WEEKS! Avoid these guys at all costs. Bad rep, very unprofessional communication. Bad rep for false estimates. BEWARE.

If a business, owner, and employees do great work, but the business leadership has LITTLE IN THE WAY OF INTEGRITY, I contend that, as a customer, it is best to STEER CLEAR of that company!!!!! Donat Houle and DrainXpress is that person, and that company to avoid at all costs!!!!

As a military member stationed in Florida and having a rental property in Horsham, PA, I depend upon honest, fair, quality, and complete service from a contractor. I cannot have a contractor hold on to over $3000.00 of a deposit for work cancelled for over a month, while charging me over $1000.00 on top after clearing a drain with a snake w/camara. If a driveway doesn't need to be dug up and $7000.00 of hard-earned money doesn't need to be spent and the job doesn't get started then so be it!!!

Furthermore, The U.S. Navy does not need one of it's sailors with the stress of being away from his family and deployed elsewhere additionally stressed with the prospect of having a dishonest contractor tell him everytime he calls that ""the check has been mailed"" time and time again. LIES!!! LIES, AND MORE LIES!!! We both know that no check had EVER been mailed. Additionally, injury of being overcharged and lied to gives way to insult when it's realized time and time again (when my deposit is still in Donat's DrainXpress bank account) that I cannot call to inquire (plead) because he is screening my phone calls out!

Finally, after over a month of pleading and getting the run-around, I had to have loved ones corner this ""professional"" to retrieve my deposit for work not performed. Thanks for chopping it down a few hundred more dollars for my troubles Donat, and all the stress that you caused for nothing. You can bet that you'll NEVER get another service call from me. Shame on you sir!

Polite and prompt service. Called me back within 5 minutes of me leaving a message at 4:30 on a Friday and came out the next morning to fix the problem. They were also the only drain cleaning company I found that would give me a price range for their services over the phone! Highly recommend!!!

Very good communication and pricing was in line for the service he provides...not to mention the fact that he was able to go from taking my initial ""please help!"" call to getting the job done in less than a day. I certainly would not hesitate to use DrainXpress again!

Horrible!! I contacted them on Saturday with an emergency drain clog and they got back to me on Tuesday. I then made an appointment, against my better judgment and they didn't bother to show up. These people are horrible. l have wasted a lot of my time!! Very unprofessional. They deserve zero stars.
