After a rudimentary polling of my neighbors and a google search for the cost to snake a drain, I've determined I was grossly overcharged by Drains R Us. Ultimately, I guess, this is my fault given I didn't have time to research what this service would cost, although in my defense, I wasn't even sure what the real issue was before the Drains R Us rep came out. Perhaps next time, when I don't have 2 kids to care for, dinner to make, a 25 page paper due, a 40 hour work week, an electrical and water heater issues to deal with, I can commit copious amounts of time into researching cost and your company's reputation......OR maybe, just maybe, you could be honest and not try to take advantage every chance you get. I realize that is asking a lot in a society of today's caliber, so I hope your company thrives off the overbilling practices you've put into place, as you apparently need the money more than my kids, my school tuition or my unexpected house repairs. #sarcasm #yousuck #shouldhaveknownwhenthetechsnamewasthesameasmyex

Robert has come to our home twice to check on leaky toilets. He didn't charge us either time! This is way more generous than I would expect from any company. I expect to at least pay for their time and transportation. I appreciate his help & honesty.

Very friendly and the work appears to be good, but very overpriced and I feel taken advantage of. I was charged nearly $400 to replace two stop valves, which took about 30 minutes of actual work. While I'd agreed to the price, not knowing how long it would take or what it should cost, has I known such little labor was involved, I never would have agreed. I was a little desperate and blame myself, however, they did take advantage of the situation and ripped me off. My normal plumber wasn't reachable at the time and a valve under my sink was leaking, so I had to go with someone else. Talked to my regular plumber today as was told he charges $90 for one and $135 for two. Drains R Us quoted me $295 for one and and additional $95 for a second. I'd Googled the work prior to accepting the quote, but had accidentally looked at shutoff valve, as in the valve that shuts off the water to the entire house. My own fault, but it would be nice to have not been taken advantage of. I was asked by the plumber if I know much about plumbing before being quoted, and now I know why. I just checked Google and found many reviews stating the same issues with being overcharged. I wish I had read the Google reviews first.

VERY happy with this company! Fast service, good prices, family owned. I called them this morning and they arrived within an hour or two afterwards and had repaired flushing mechanism really quickly. Will use again for all our plumbing needs, thank you!

Had a problem with a cracked pipe under my kitchen sink. Called them and they were able to come out the next day. Was given a quote that seemed outrageously expensive. Had another group come out for an estimate that was $1500 less Drains r us for the same work. Needless to say I didn't go with Drains r us. Nice guys but so expensive. Get another quote after these guys.

Robert was terrific--he was very professional and quick. Robert wouldn't even charge us for the home visit today because he said that it a was minor issue that he could fix right away. We will definitely use this company again. Great customer service!

Arch came to our house at midnight to fix a leaking pipe in our crawl space, gave us 2 good options and explained them both well, he's a nice guy running a small family business and we'll use him again for any plumbing needs we have in the future!

No one has a sense of humor when they're rousted out of bed at midnight to deal with two inches of raw sewage. But Arch from Drains R Us came about as close as it's possible to get! And thank goodness, because I was a little freaked out to find this disaster waiting for us tonight. From the time I called to the time he pulled up I'd say it was less than 30 minutes. From there he was extremely straightforward. He took a look, he told me what he thought, he gave an estimate, he got to work. Best of all, he FIXED IT! And then (bless his heart) he cleaned up. I mean, we still have a lot of scrubbing to do, but it's a far cry from the nightmare we walked in on. Also, he gave his professional opinion of what caused it in the first place and several options on how it might be dealt with / prevented in the future. It's not great news, but at the least we have an idea what we're dealing with. Here's my highest recommendation - if anything happens again I'm not shopping around - I'm calling Arch!

We had a backed up sewer line flooding the basement. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Drains R Us on a Google search. Arch came out late at night and snaked the line for us. He was honest and thorough and even had a few good plumbing stories to tell us! He is the epitome of the plumber you keep for life. Highly recommended!

WE LOVE ARCH! He has come to our rescue twice now and I cannot stress enough what an honest person he is as well as a pleasure to deal with. He is a trouble shooter and if he cant find whats wrong he isn't going to charge you, I appreciate the fact that when we couldn't duplicate the leak we have going on he didn't tear apart my walls and ceiling for no reason. He is our new plumber for life!
