Santiago and others have always come to help our kids when the kitchen sink backs up (far too often) in their Cambridge home. They come quickly and are very efficient which is so appreciated. I feel they are a great value compared to ""big name"" drainage companies.

Drains by James was referred to me by my plumber, because the job I had was out of his scope. I was a little hesitant about working with a new company, but from the time that Jim, from Drains by James stepped into our house, he was nothing but courteous and professional. He explained the whole drain process and was very respectful of my floors and furniture (which were ivory). Also, when I called the office later with an inquiry, Meghan was very helpful, she explained the information I was inquiring about and then followed up with a phone call to make sure I had what I needed. I would definitely recommend them.

Our bath drain was almost completely blocked and after various efforts I finally looked in the local Yellow Pages and called Drains by James. Justin arrived the following morning. He was fabulous. The tough clog was cleared within the hour and he gave me a much needed referral for technicians who would be able to tackle a very old leak behind the wall.

Our kitchen sink drain was backed up after years of not using the garbage disposal judiciously. We tried the DIY approach for half our weekend and ended up frustrated and without a draining sink. So I called Drains By James (good advertising on the Sports Hub) and was able to get an appointment the very same day at a convenient time.

Jakeel was awesome and brought a refreshing and upbeat attitude--much appreciated after we threw in the white towel on this ourselves. Using the professional equipment he brought, the clog was cleaned out in a little under 10 minutes! He vacuumed up the grossness and was out in under an hour.

I would highly recommend Drains By James and Jakeel for their professionalism and quick, reasonably priced solutions.

I meant to write this last week. I had a clog in the main drain of my home. We had water in the basement, a complete mess. Not knowing who to call, I looked online and saw positive reviews for Drains by James so I gave them a call. They showed up in less than 2 hours and got right to work.Our tech Shane was very knowledgeable and let us know what he was doing. He had our drain fixed in less than an hour. He was very professional and did a great job! I highly recommend Drains by James and would not hesitate to call them in the future if this isssue pops up again!

They were professional, arrived On-time, and communicated with every aspected of the job.

I'm a visual person and each technician thoroughly explained the process and even showed me the video so I could see what was going wrong.

The project is still in process, however each night they have left the areas clean and with a clear understanding of when they would return to complete the next stage.
