Recommended Customer Reviews
The Draino team is great! They are quick and responsive. I was able to have work done within a few days of contacting them. The team is very polite and professional. Would highly recommend.
Carlos and his guys did a great job. We were having leaks in our basement. He came to look at things and gave a free estimate. They had to replace the drain pipe running under our house. The price was very reasonable considering the amount of work that was done.
Worst company ever!!! Do not trust them their warranty is about as worthless as promises from Bernie Madoff, read the other reviews and DO NOT EVER use them!
Was told they would be here at 2:00. 2:00 came and went, 4:00 rolled around and still no show and no call. Called them twice, no answer, left two messages. They were also supposed to be out two weeks ago and never showed up. I decided to give them another chance since we've used them in the past and they were great, looks like they won't get a third.
Anna S.After many broken promises to show up to service my request, Carlos and his buddy left 2 of my garden planters broken. No apology and no offer to fix or place them. I would have moved the planters out of their way had I known they'd be so reckless with their tools. Immature and disrespectful, not fooling anyone with lack of decent manners.
Show up to your promised appointment times and respect people's property. SIMPLE!
Called today, came out the same day. Was so polite and made sure to give me a call on his way over as well. Carlos was quick, efficient and didn't mind my dog barking! Unclogged my basement drain in less than 30 minutes. Will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs!
David M.It took two weeks of dodging appointments he ""confirmed"" to unclog my drain before he came. On top of the poor communication and unreliablility, somehow he broke a couple of the things in my yard while he was over. Do not recommend using his ""services"" to anyone!
Anna Marie T.I can't comment on their workmanship because I never had a chance to observe, benefit, or not benefit from it. I can say that ultimately the management is pretty terrible. I'm having a leaky bathtub issue and had a plumber come out to take a look - said plumber was unable to do the job which he said most likely involved raising the tub or pitching it, I think is the term. Since I had taken the day off from work, I scrambled to find another plumber to come out. I called Draino and the young lady on the phone told me she'd rearrange the schedule and get someone out to me that day. I hadn't even outright asked for same day service, so that was a real bonus! As promised, she called me about 15 minutes before the plumber came. Carlos and his son headed upstairs with me to look at the tub and right away he knew what he had to do. He was friendly, personable, confident, and explained everything to me. He gave me a quote and welcomed my husband and me to call him with any questions. After speaking with my husband, I called Draino again, spoke with the young lady, and we set up an appointment for Carlos to come do the job.
The next day I received a call from Deanna (not the initial young lady). Deanna told me she had been away and that she needed a deposit in order to secure my appointment. I gave her a credit card deposit over the phone and she told me Carlos would be at my house around 9am and that she'd give me a heads up call when he was on his way. My husband took off from work this time. 9am came and went with no call. Finally, at 9:45, I called and spoke with Deanna. She told me they were having staffing issues...one of her guys called out. And the guy who called at and Carlos are the only ones who can do the job. I think that's what she said. Honestly, it was a little convoluted. She said she had to rearrange the schedule so Carlos had to be sent out to another job, but she'd let me know when he'd be able to come to my place. 11:00 am came around and I checked in again. Again, she told me she was rearranging the schedule, etc. and that she'd call me. Radio silence. 12:20pm rolls around and I called again and asked if I could get a time frame and told her that my husband had taken off from work. She apologized for the inconvenience and was still working it out. Finally I got a phone call around 1:30 and it was Deanna telling me that Carlos left town for a family emergency and they're going to give me a refund.
Now, I sincerely hope that everything is okay. I understand there are family emergencies and I really hope that nothing bad happened. My qualm is that I had to reach out first to find out what was going on. And that it took hours before letting me know that it wasn't going to happen. And what happened to the guy who called out? Why did I have to get a refund? Couldn't he do the job another day?
Either way, Deanna was apologetic and told me they couldn't credit my credit card and would have to give me cash. She told me she'd drop it off to my house the next day in the morning. I'm like, my husband and I work. So she asked when I'd be home - I told her by 5pm - and she said she'd have one of her workers drop it off to our house. I raced to daycare, picked up my son, and made sure I was home by 5pm. Did you see anyone come to my house to drop off my money? I didn't. And no one called me to tell me they weren't coming either. I called Deanna the next morning (this morning) as a follow up to the voicemail I left the night before and she ended up meeting me near my work and giving me the money this afternoon.
Maybe I'm being too critical. I don't know. While I appreciate that Deanna brought me the money and again, I sincerely hope that the family emergency turned out to be okay, this business's communication leaves a whole lot to be desired.
Carlos and Dienna were very helpful in assisting with a shower installation!
Michelle D.I called several other plumbers who was give me a ridiclous price and stated it was gonna cost three times the amount. Three different plumbers. My freind recommended this company. Trusting my freinds judgments I am glad I went with Draino. Not only he took the time out to show me the issue and explained it all to me. But I saved over 1000.00 dollars. Glad and very satisfied I used Draino
