I called Chad because he was Oakland based. He answered his phone (a good sign) and agreed to come by later that day. I was sold when I met Chad at our rental house in Montclair. He promptly video taped the sewer lateral, assessed the pipeline condition, reviewed the site conditions, and gave me a quote. We negotiated and signed a contract before he left. I liked that he was ready to work and patiently explained the entire process. Three days later, exactly as promised, his crew began work on replacing our building sewer with a polyethylene liner. They started at 8:30 am, finished by 2:00 pm, and coordinated the inspection with the City and EBMUD. Of course everything passed, our tenant wasn't even inconvenienced! The crew worked carefully and proficiently, and was courteous to our neighbors. I would gladly use Drainline Plumbing & Sewer Specialist on my next house.

We are in the very stressful process of buying a new home. Our realtor and her team were awesome enough to find and get quotes from a few companies for a sewer line inspection. We chose this company and our agent set up an inspection for us. She called to confirm the appointment the day before it was scheduled and they never got back to her. Then they didn't show up to the scheduled appointment. I am not going to say something snarky or rude like other reviewers might. This was simply our experience with them and wanted to share. Unfortunately, due to this we are delayed in the process of closing on the house as we had to contact, and schedule for another company to do the inspection for us. Kinda bummed :/

I have used Drainline plumbing 510 566 8893 to have my sewer line replaced with trench less sewer replacement. I had a few plumber over for the last few years jetting the line. I got a few bids, the most expensive was Benjamin Franklin at over $13 000.00 and less at around $7 000.00 and one for $5 000.00. A few plumbers wanted to come over and take a look and match Drainlines bid but after meeting with Chad and talking with him I decided that this was the best company to do the job. He gave me a bid of $4 200.00 and I could tell he knows what he is talking about. Not like the sales people some other plumbing companies are sending. They are doing a fantastic job and are cleaning up real nice after them self's. I am very happy with the result :)""

Very responsive, respectful and reasonable with pricing. Chad came out the same day I called, long after the normal work hours, to evaluate our house-to-sewer connection situation and provide a free, thorough quote (which was far less than what a franchise plumbing business was going to charge for the same work.) no pressure, and no inflated pricing based on location. His crew was focused and efficient and kept me informed at every step. We had a few surprises due to the age of our house and ultimately had to do a partial open trench and a partial pipe-burst, but Chad worked with me to adjust the pricing accordingly and was very fair throughout. By the end of the day you couldn't tell that any work had even been done, and all of our landscaping was put back meticulously and with care. Great warranty and a 'do the right thing' professionalism - recommend highly!

While reading other plumbing reviews of other companies--I learned about Drainline as a result of their great work and their reasonable prices. I was literally on my 20th call and was about to throw in towel until I contacted them and got an actual live voice...(whaaat is this real?!?). I had the pleasure of conversing with Chad! We talked about the matter and advised me on what he would need to do to handle the issue. We scheduled an appointment for the next morning since he was out of town. He suggested that I reach out to others for assistance and to keep him in mind if I continued to have no luck (what?!? who gives away business?!?)--Chad--because it wasn't about the money, it was about solving a dire problem. I was still ready to give up an wait until the morning until I discovered that none of my bathrooms were working. Surprisingly, I was able to get in touch with the next 3 plumbing companies I contacted. Although I went with another great company, I was still very satisfied with being able to communicate with him several times within a 3hr period. Thank you Chad for your quick response, flexibility, kindness, great advice, and affordability! You seriously ROCK!
