The WORST company ever! Our home warranty requires that we use them. They won't call back, they don't show up on time and after repeated calls speaking with a young girl with attitude I still can't get my problem fixed. Going on 3 weeks trying to get a response from Drainco.

I had a leak in my master bath show so I called our home warranty to have it fixed. They made an appointment with Drainco and sent them to fix our problem. When the plumber showed up and we told him what our problem was he did not even bother to look at our shower.
He told us cutting through the tile to get to the leak was not covered. If we want it done we need to open it up and give them a call to come back. He asked us to pay him and left.
We called the home warranty and found out it was in fact covered. Before we could have them come back we had to wait for Drainco to give them a report which would take 24-48 hours. Two and half weeks later they have not given the home warranty any report. We got the home warranty to send us a different plumber.

I had a back-up and toilet water arose in the shower (YUCK)!!! AHS referred Drainco which was a horrible experience. The person who arrived had bad customer service, I was his last job for the day & he made it very obvious that he was trying to speed up the job. I assumed everything would be fine after they snaked the roots in the pipes but the problem continued the next day. Spoke with the supervisor and was informed I would be refunded (not full amount) but never received a check. Insurance company called to follow-up and supervisor informed them he was busy and would send the check out. Surprise!!! Never received it. All I can say is don't bother calling this company. Work is unacceptable and their customer service is lousy.

I have had a horrible time working with Drainco. Even though I discussed with them that they were removing my water heater on the day they came they said they didn't have room in there truck and just left it in the middle of my garage. They also said they had talked with American Home Shield and that i had to pay them directly and be reimbursed through AHS. AHS has no record of talking to them and I have ended up not being reimbursed for the full amount. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Avoid this company. They came to my home on 8/2/10 sent by AHS insurance and told me the job was not covered because by the insurance because a part needed to be changed in the bidet. They pressured me to pay for the call even though they did nothing. the serviceman said it was for diagnosing the problem. I called another plumber and he said there was nothing wrong with the bidet. I asked for my money back and they have refused to give to me to this date.
Do not use them and do not let AHS send them to your house.

To start, First American Home Protection is as bad as Drainco Plumbing. Both are pathetic! But on to Drainco plumbing...service time options are extremely limited; service tech was 2hrs past the 4hr window; tech did not have basic parts to fix the problem and no way to communicate (cell phone was broken?). They have been called back to fix the problem (ASAP), and after 4 days, still have not come back.

This is the worst plumbing company ever. I totally agree with the previous negative reviews and almost the same identical scenario happened with us. We were forced to use this company b/c its covered by First American home warranty and shame on this company for even allowing them to service their customers.
Drainco has the worst service and have lazy people working who don't want to take care of things. They never completed our job and had to come back at least 6 times now and each time, the job is still not done or completed. Their excuse is that certains items are ""not on the work order"" which is ridiculous!! Each time someone comes out, the plumber doesn't know what the problem is and we have to repeat everything to them. On the phone, they are not patient, rude, and condescending. You can even hear a baby in the background crying... What kind of an operation is this??

DRAINCO is ABSOLUTELY the WORST plumbing company I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with. They are contracted with First American Home Warranty Company and they are assigned to me simply because of geography. For those in need of plumbing services, do not walk away from this company... RUN! RUN for the hills!!!!!!!
My first incident with Drainco was a simple leaky faucet and shower head fix. The tech was scheduled to come to my house from 10am to 2pm. After waiting 4 hours, I assume the guy is busy, so I give him the benefit of the doubt and wait a little longer. An hour passes and I call Drainco, they receptionist tells me the tech is running late and she cannot give me a time when he can come and repair the problems. She has the audacity to try and reschedule for another day while being completely rude and condescending to me. I was appalled because I had to take time off of work and I just wasted over five hours of my day. Finally, the tech shows up 2 hours later and looks at my restroom for 5 minutes just to tell me he can't do anything and has to come back. I understand he has to assess the problem and come back, but this does not explain the other 5 visits where they install a new faucet, valves and the problems still exist. They just keep coming back to basically waste my time. I can literally write a 10 page report on this company but to cut a long story short. It has been over month and a half, there has been 6 visits to my home and each time I have experienced the same or similar situation just mentioned above in regards to Drainco being late and rude... AND the worst part is... my faucet and shower head are still leaking. To add to the problem, now I have 9 huge holes in various places in my bathroom because they were checking inside the walls for leaks and it has been like this for 3 weeks now, I still have 9 huge holes in my bathroom and still nothing has been fixed!
If you like wasting your vacation or sick days at work or losing pay over and over again then by all means, call Drainco. That is the one thing they are competent at, NOT when it comes to fixing leaks at your home... trust me. This company actually prompted me to open up an account with Yelp just to vent. This is the result of feeling abused repeatedly by this company. STAY AWAY!!!

On the appointed day, at the appointed time, Brian showed up. I have had a clogged tub which five plumbers from three different companies have already looked at. Each company said something different and very expensive fixes. Brian immediately said that the issue was a common line problem (I live in a condo). I told him someone else said that but the condo plumbers insist it's in my unit.
He asked if we could get the upstairs neighbor to turn on her tub and discovered her water was draining into my tub.
I couldn't use the company to make the repair b/c the condo association had their own plumber, but after six weeks finally have the problem resolved.

First American Home Buyers Protection uses them. They were quite rude on the phone each time we call them, but the review isn't about them.
We heard something inside the house, a rumble and a sound in wall, Knew it wasn't a good sign. Called Home Warranty co. right away. Got us plumbers to check it out.
Anyway, we had a guy, Brian over to help us. He crawled underneath the house to check it out. Recommended remediation (read: big fans to dry the leaked water). Got them to come, called Dry Down Inc. They set up their fans and had them running for a while.
Next day, Luis comes, as per the 9-11AM time window allotted. He was very nice and helpful in explaining the problem. He tore down a portion of the wall and found the leak, plugged it up. Tested the water pressure, no more leak (yay)! Problem is that we have copper AND galvanized pipes, and so electrolysis occurs, which rusts the pipes. Recommended a repiping, ~$4200. Ouch. Not his fault though, our house is from the '60s. Oh well...
