My home warranty company, First American Warrant (Would not recommend), assigned Drainco Plumbing to my leaking water heater. I checked their contractor's license 795753 on 1/5/18, and their license is SUSPENDED. They can't legally do business. Demand your Home warranty company find a licensed contractor in good standing!!!!

I called my home insurance (First American) about the valves to my washer and dryer in my garage. They were stuck. First American dispatched Drainco Plumbing to come to my home and fix the problem. I waited December 23, 2017 from 9am-1pm. No one called or showed up. I left MANY voice messages. First American could not reach them either and told me to WAIT. I waited all day. I just gave up and knew they were not coming. Then, on December 26, 2017, First American called to see if Drainco ever showed up. I told them NO and to just forget about the repair. The rep hung up on me! I will be soon canceling First American and a REAL plumber who I contacted who has many apprentices told me that most of the people at these places dispatched by First American are simply ""tech's"" who took a few hour class to call themselves a plumber ""TECH"" who have no knowledge or know how of the intricacies of real plumbing.

The worst experience ever. why? my American Home shield/ American Home Scam (AHS) sent this plumber over to fix the water heater. Instead of fixing it, they acted like water heater salesman, the plumber offered me all kind of service that I don't need. And I refuse politely and asked them to do their job instead. They recommended that flushing maintenance on my water heater for the pilot that can't stay on. They thought that the homeowner all stupid. Don't use them if you don't want to be scammed by this plumbing company!!!

If I could give negative stars, I would!!! Absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced! They called to schedule an appointment with a 4 hour window, which I took time off of work to be home for and they never showed up. No call, nothing. When you call the office, all you ever get is an answering machine, but you can't leave a message because it's always full. When someone finally contacted me, they just said they didn't know what happened, but scheduled another appointment a week later, which again I took time off for and AGAIN a no-show. Our plumbing issue is SERIOUS (you don't even want to know) and it's getting worse by the day. I can't believe this company is still in business with how they don't show up, call you back, or even answer their phone. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will end up being as frustrated and angry as I am!

Drainco was assigned by my home warranty service. They came when promised, and resolved the issues in my home quickly and professionally. One item was a slow shower drain that had been a problem for months... and my typical plumber said nothing could be done about it without fully ripping out the shower floor and digging to the clog and replacing the pipe. The Drainco team cleared that clog for me... actually wouldn't stop until they were done.
I thought I should post this as I am currently awaiting another plumber who was assigned by my home warranty service (for a different issue) and discovered very few positive reviews for warranty service assigned plumbers. With that in mind I thought I should share a positive experience... and that when I contacted my home warranty service I tried to request Drainco only to discover that they can't take requests. With that in mind, yes, I'd use them again.

Terrible company! We were assigned this company through our Home Warranty company to fix a cracked pipe under the sink. It's been two weeks since my initial claim was filed, and the work was just finished today. They do not offer any type of flexible hours for people who have regular jobs. My in-laws came over and had to wait during their four hour window. I took off work once. And my daughter switched her work schedule twice to be here for them. The first time they came out the technician looked at the pipe and said he would have to come back to do the work. Don't regular plumbers carry parts and tools with them? They couldn't schedule the work for three more days. When he did the work, he left a mess inside and outside, there was black pipe glue on my counter tops, AND the pipe he fixed leaked the next day. So he had to come out again, but he didn't fix it. He just ran the water and saw it was leaking. He rescheduled for three days later. Today the work was completed, but again he left a mess inside and outside. There was black pipe glue on our wood floors. He left all his trash scattered outside. If your Home Warranty company assigns them to you...call and change your appointment.

I wish that this was a positive review but it's not and I feel compelled to report my negative experience to others. This company was referred to me via American Home Shield. I read the reviews on here but gave them the benefit of the doubt, WORSE decision ever! First I had to contact them to find out the date and time of my appointment. When the plumber arrived, he did not identify himself as a plumber from Drainco, had no uniform, paper work or tools. He just said, you have a plumbing problem, I'm the plumber. Upon entering the house he looked around and at times using his phone light, he didn't even have a flashlight. He poked a hole in the ceiling and said there is a leak but you have to get the cabinets moved and check for asbestos in the dry wall before I can work on this. I asked why do I have to move the cabinets, just make a hole in the ceiling. He replied the cabinets are in the way, there is no access point and besides i see some sort box through the small hole I made. So i said you won't repair it, he said not until the cabinets are moved and the dry wall is checked for asbestos. This is what he reported back to AHS, easiest money he's ever made. This experience was so unprofessional!
I couldn't wait anymore as I had already been without water for three days. I had a stand by plumber because i had read the bad reviews on here, glad I did. I called him and he came over the next morning. He DID NOT have to move the cabinets but made a hole in the ceiling as I told the other guy. There was no box as the other guy reported but a 2x4 piece of wood, which was not in the way. The plumber was able to repair the leak and made other adjustments to avoid future issues. So far so good!

I personally feel they are in Cahoots with our home warranty company. First time ran us close to 300 dollars because in order for them to unclog a drain they had to go through the rough. Ironically so the home warranty doesn't cover pipes outside of the ground. Come to find out there is a pipe rite under the house, rite as you go under the crawl space. Apparently the technician didn't want to get dirty or just too lazy to check. 2nd call was for a leak under our home, a home we purchased over 14 years ago. The technician informed us the home warranty company will not cover this. So here we are charged 75 for the plumber to tell us sorry but your shit out of luck. I'd never recommend CrookCo/Drainco to anyone. If anyone has the Home Warranty and have plumbing problems save your $75 and find an honest reputable plumber on your own. Btw I had to chose 1 star to get my review to post. I personally give them ten thumbs down!!!!!
Horrible service & company.

Useless! So happy we did not hire them yay! We went with someone else who knew what they were doing.

Do Not Use! This truly has to be one of the worst companies I've ever come across. They came to my house to assess an issue after being sent by my warranty company. I was told they would call me in a few days if they could find the part they needed. After a month and a half I called them and was told they had no record of coming to my house. They had to come back out to re-assess and was told the same thing. This time after a few days I called since I didn't receive a call once again. Was told the faucet just needed to be replaced and they couldn't find a part. When I asked more questions I discovered they had only checked 1 place. They had to come out 4 more times after that. Two of the times they couldn't even make it within the 4 hour window I was given and they had the nerve to call me as if it was my fault that people showed up but I wasn't home. They had taken 6 hours and I had left. I feel like I was robbed of my time and money since I had to take so much time off of work. Avoid if possible.
