thank you drainco plumbing (Steve) for getting our heater working again they were assigned by our home insurance.. made an appt on monday they came on weds on schedule, we thought it was just replacing the gas valve/relighting it well lucky Steve stood a few minutes make sure it was up and heating then bang we heard small explosion well the K burner assembly had few holes..he called scheduled another appt for friday with plenty of time for me to get the new burner by ups friday came Steve was there on time ready to get us hot water again 1st thing you do when you don't have hot for few days is take a shower like you've never done before

I had a service window from 10 AM to 2 PM, its about 5 PM now and no one has showed up. We've tried calling them multiple times with no answer. I'm not sure if they're even attempting to show up anymore since its Friday. Your time is valuable, don't waste 7 hours waiting on them like I did.

Very good service, always. I always request them through, First American. Remember, traffic or difficult prior jobs can affect arrival time. So far for us, they usually arrive within time frame. Knock on wood, good service continues, haha. Keep up the good work, guys.

It took them 3 months to send someone who understand a little about plumbing. It referred by the worst home warranty: American Home Shield. Also their license is suspended but they could doing business as a plumbing company. Don't let them in to your house if you don't want them to do more damage than you already have. Javier is the guy that broke my water heater instead of fixing it. Lupe will always says no to everything you asked for. Guaranty you will regret it and they will amaze you with their no show promise and not on time visit. Don't waste your time and money on this plumber. It is a joke.

Absolutely THE WORST WORST WORST service by a plumbing company EVER! Drain Co. was sent to us by our home warranty company...WHAT A GIANT MISTAKE! Not only did they not show up during the window of service time once, but TWICE! They first time they did not have the part in stock. Second time they came, we received the WORST service ever and my leaky shower head is still broken. DO NOT USE DRAIN CO!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for nothing Drain Co.

Drainco Plumbing was sent by American Home Shield for
broken pipes under the foundation.

The plumber drilled into the foundation and stated it would
cheaper to reroute the kitchen/washroom pipes outside via
the wall.

American Home Shield didn't cover that expense, so we trusted the contractor to do professional work.

After the work was completed, we discovered by two other plumbing companies that the work was done incorrectly. We spent $1000 plus materials to have some of the work redone.

I contacted American Home Shield to ask that they be
removed from the referral list.

The technician came out to fix our water heater. After a few minutes he stated it was still under the manufacture warranty and he would have to order the part. He also stated that it would arrive in 1-3 business days. So I wait and by the third day with no package I call and get the answering service. So I call first thing in the morning and I'm told that the part would take 5-7 days. No one bothered to call me to advise me of the new time frame. I asked for the contact number so I can call them myself and get a tracking number and have yet to hear from anyone. This company was assigned by AHS. I called AHS and told them I will not have them come to fix anything else. They acted as if I was bothering them but my family is the one being without hot running water in over a week!

These guys don't want to do the work.

I have a Home Warranty, and this company was chosen by them. At first I was encouraged, as they came to evaluate the leak under my sink 2 days after the claim, which was prompt compared to other companies that the Warranty company has sent out for me in the past.
The guys looked at the problem and determined the issue. They said they needed to clear it with the Warranty company and order the part, and they would call me the following day.
They did not call the following day, they did not call the following week. I assumed, optimistically, that they had ordered the part and that was the delay for their follow up.
12 days after the initial evaluation, I reached out to them to find out what was going on. It took 3 phone calls to get through, because of the immediate holds I was placed on, without them even speaking with me. Eventually, there was a person who actually answered, stating ""Please hold."" I was then on hold for 10 minutes. When she got back on the phone I explained the problem. She put me back on hold for another 15 minutes. When she got back on the phone she said she didn't know if the service was covered by the Warranty. Basically, they never made any calls to find out.
I called the Warranty company, and in 3 minutes I learned that the service was covered. They also assigned the job to another company (Whew!).
If a company is so disinterested in doing their job, they are not worth calling.

UPDATE:
Eventually these guys called to follow up. They said they wanted to schedule an appointment to fix part of the problem, but not all of the problem (there were two identified leaks), stating only the one issue was covered.
I shared that I had already spoken with the Warranty company, both problems were covered by my policy, and that a new plumber had been assigned.

That's the worst plumbing company I have ever experienced. They were sent in by American Home Shield to replace a leaking water heater. But they insisted to replace some other parts which are totally unnecessary and charge a hefty amount.I talked to the plumber and they didn't want install unless I pay by check first. The new vent does not fit so they put the old one back on and still charged me. They replaced T&P galvanized pipe that was in perfect condition. They said the old does not meet the code but could not provide which code. They just wanted to charge me $400 for something cheap and not necessary. I told the technician that is not a fair business practice and he did not care.

Don't have this company come out to your house. They are lazy, unprofessional. Home warranty companies SHOULD NOT have them as a contractor. Their lazy plumber who DID NOT want to investigate my issue caused me over $1600 in restoration that I did not need. The second plumber came out and fixed my leak with no issue.

The owner of this company is unprofessional and should not be in business. Maybe that's why they have a poor rating with BBB.
