A local appliance dealer refused to install my new washer unless I replaced my ""leaking"" bibs. Drain Time immediately responded to my call for bids, and sent James out that very afternoon. Before taking anything apart, James gave me two fair prices: a lower price for replacing the leaking part, and another for replacing the bibs. After disconnecting everything and inspecting the bibs more closely, he saw play in the part, tightened the ""packing"" on each bib, and the leaking stopped! His thinking outside the box, and not accepting another professional's opinion, cut the cost of the repair in half and I get my washer tomorrow.
Kudos for quick response, knowledge, innovation, honesty and fair pricing. You should put Drain Time on speed dial!

I noticed a sneaky puddle on my kitchen floor and then discovered there was a swamp under my sink. I quickly opened my yelp and reached out to a few companies. Drain Time was the first to respond and had a tech out here quickly to take a look and offer a quote. I was seriously relieved when we found out I only needed to replace the faucet which was done insanely quick. Everything from response time, to showing up, to completing was done beautifully.

My shower knob was broken and had to be replaced. This fix required more than just replacing the knob. James was able to come out right away and assess the issue. We had to order a part but as soon as it came in, he came right back out and installed it. I highly recommend this company. The diagnostic was free and the cost to repair was very reasonable. Very professional, prompt and friendly service.

Other companies I had reached out to for a consult were either not responsive or charged a fee just to come check out the issue. I was very happy that Draintime responded right away and made it easy to set an appointment. I will use them again in the future.

Overall my experience fits the pattern of other One star reviewers where Drain Time tried to push me to exorbitant upgrades with out providing all the options. I felt they were trying to take advantage of my difficult situation

Here are the details:
I had drain backing up in my rental property & on 2/11 (10am) service I was charged $425 for snaking thru the toilet. I felt price on higher side but agreed to proceed to ease any hardship for tenants. But the problem did not get fully fixed & happened again in evening.
We called them again at night, I was told the cast iron cleanout needs to be replaced for $4600. Initially I was told cast iron cleanout was getting broken but when I challenged after looking at the picture, they said its badly rusted and could break any time. When I requested to just snake & get it cleaned, I was told its not possible & can't be done. (7 years back I had got that cleanout snaked by another vendor)
I decided to get a second opinion and the next company offered me both options- doing a snake for $200 or replacing the access point for $1800 (I have the quotes & not making it up). They also concurred from their picture that cast iron clean out is corroded and longer term solution is replacement

I know Drain time will respond to this review saying "" Our goal was to propose a comprehensive solution that involved replacing the cleanout....While our initial quote might have seemed high, it was intended to cover the cost of a potential full-service solution""

& I would say to that:
1. Your quote was not just bit higher but 2.5x the other company. BTW other company is a 5* rated company with 150+ reviews
2. More importantly you didn't provide me options that other company provided
3. I felt due to my situation, where my tenant was without plumbing, I was being forced into a very expensive corner

I learned via a water usage App that I had a slow water leak. I had attempted to troubleshoot the problem over a couple of weeks, with no success. I contacted Drain Time plumbing on a Sunday evening and arranged for a service call the next day. As promised the technician called when he was on his way to my house. Jared, the Field Manager arrived and was professional and courteous. He asked about the leak and was a good listener, asking probing questions and gleaning all the details. It was very obvious that he knew his stuff. He checked the water meter and saw that it was turning very slowly indicating water was flowing. He then requested to go inside the house and walked to the bathrooms checking flushes and angle stops. Then he went into the backyard, checked the pool and pool filler valve; confirming that was not the issue he returned to the bathrooms. He took off the flush tank cover on one of them and put his ear near the tank, listening at first and then scrutinizing the water closely. He then tapped on the flush filler valve. We went back out to the water meter and noticed that it had stopped spinning. He discovered that the flush filler valve was the problem. It had got stuck and was the culprit of the water leak. Jared provided great professional service and value. Drain Time, you came through in a big way, thank you!
