Worst plumbers ever! Came to give me an estimate and then charged me for 10 minutes of a plumber's time to change out a shower head for over $450. I paid less after arguing a number of times. I asked to speak to the owner, and they said she wasn't available. She never seemed available.
They should have just told me to forget about the fee, even when I got the bill 6 months later. The plumber they sent would not show me his license and was unwilling to provide a copy for later on. This was a requirement for my building. Estimate was for a water heater, and they were the most expensive out of all estimates. Went to them because they had done work in my building. Cannot recommend. If you need a plumber for the downtown area of STL, then use Beis Plumbing - great service, very reasonable rates, provide all required documentation. Very happy I don't have to use Drain Surgeon ever again!!!

Do not call this company for any plumbing work. I paid over $500.00 to have a sewer main cleaned of roots.
About two weeks later, the sewer was clogged again.
I called about the problem and was told they do not warranty the job. The only way to get a warranty is to have them camera the sewer .
No one told me the work was not guaranteed until the job was finished.

Do not use this company! They do a horrible job and will just take your money. They came to snake my drain said it was cleared charged me $175 and 3 weeks later it is already backed up again. They will not do anything about it except offered me to set up another appointment with them and charge me another $175. What a joke! Like I would want to have them come out again.

I work for a general contractor at a local industrial facility. It is one of my jobs to hire subcontractors and run the jobs. We have been using Drain Surgeons for a while now and I have to say, they don't come any better. They show up when they say they are going to they work safe and take pride in their work. They are all very professional and very easy to work with. They are very knowledgeable and know their business quite well. My client ask for them by name because they can see the professionalism and knowledge. They have done both lining and sewer clean out. They are miles ahead of their competitors when it comes to lining and cleaning. Not to mention how very reasonable their prices are for the services they provide. I would recommend Benji and his crew to every one and would use them in my own home.

Terrible company. Terrible service. I was overcharged to the tune of over $1k and no work was even completed. They are currently threatening a lien on my house if I don't pay in full. If you need any plumbing work done, I'd look elsewhere. Consider yourself warned.

The fact that I have to even click 1 Star to review this company is unfortunate. They don't deserve it. Poor Customer Service - hope you don't have any issues as they will not act appropriately to rectify the situation. Technician was wheeling and dealing on the site to make you feel like your getting a good deal, then wham...numerous phone calls to try and speak with upper management and couldn't even get a call back until Accounts Payable finally called-big surprise...Never talked with owner/manager, they just kept accounts payable acting as the poorest excuse for customer service...Plenty of other contractors out there. Shame on me for even calling them in the first place
