I've used Drain Surgeon for several years now and have never had an issue with their services. They are prompt, cordial and great to work with. Recently they set up my new dryer and fixed the drainage issue with our tub. Previously they installed our dishwasher and fixed our bathroom sink among other stuff. Soon I'll have them to replace our toilets. As I said I've been using them for years and I'm pleased with their services. I highly recommend them.
I have used this company for many projects since 2017. They have always answered my call or if not an immediate answer phone calls have been returned. Prices are reasonable and they have done a great job. They listen to my request, come within the time frame given and gets the job done. I have even tried other plumbing companies but I always return to Drain Surgeon. They have not let me down.
Oh Lord L.My home warranty ppl sent Drain Surgeon to my home for a leaking outside hose faucet that really had been leaking for months. The ""Secretary"" called me in early February a few days before the appt to say they'd have to wait a day or so as the plumber COULD NOT WELD IN BAD WEATHER. I said the pipe could also be reached from the crawl space.
The plumber came and although, he was informed in advance via email on via phone convo with secretary of the bib leaking , he said he did not have a hose bib. He said he'd cut the pipe and cap it from inside the crawl space and have secretary reschedule once AHS was notified he has to buy the hose bib.
I remarked that I would have gotten one from amazon had I known he wouldn't show with one. I asked about capping the pipe from under the porch he said no it was out in the elements.
3 weeks later after hearing nothing, I called Drain Surgeon to ask if they had received the hose bib to finish the job. I was informed that OUTSIDE FAUCETS are not covered by AHS and it would cost $350 if I wanted them to repair the cut pipe. TEE HEE HEE
AHS went back and forth with Drain Surgeon. AHS told Drain Surgeon they knew it wasn't covered and shouldn't have been at my house. The rep said Drain Surgeon told her "" you knew too."" I put the request in online. Everyone knew outside faucets weren't covered except me.
Drain Surgeon told me the plumber was new and didn't know it wasn't covered, but the woman who was telling me this is the same person I originally spoke to before they came out. Shes the one who said he couldn't weld in bad weather so clearly SHE knew.
I ordered a hose bib with a shut off valve from amazon and fix the bib. Now, I am studying plumbing so I can fix the cut pipe with a shark bite push fitting.
I actually hate to have to write this, but this was wrong and ppl need to know what happened and decide if it was a mistake or intentional.
I paid this company four (4) months ago to put in a sub-meter, and the job is yet to be completed.
The owner is Doug Magee, and doesn't return calls. Save your self a headache and use a more receptive plumbing company....
Jamie S.I have used this company two times and both time I had a very good experience. The second time I was quoted a certain amount and it took Khaleif a lot more time than I think he originally thought it would. He still held at the set amount as I even questioned him with the fact that he spent more time than I thought it would take! They come with high regards in my book, and ask for Khaleif (spelling?) He is a straight shooter and a hard working gentleman!!
I had my main bathroom demoed and called Drain Surgeon to evaluate the plumbing in my aging home. Due to demolition, it was easy to access all the pipes. Doug came and gave an evaluation. I asked for a quote, but was told I would receive a call with the final number. The suggestion was to change all of the pipes in the bathroom, nothing I wasn't afraid of. I fully expected to give this job to Drain Surgeon. However, this first date left me ghosted. I never heard a word back after this evaluation. 2 days later, I called the company back to see when I would receive my quote. The receptionist said she would ping the plumber to give me a call back. Eventually, I had to call another plumber to get the job done.
I see all of the good reviews, I just wish I had to opportunity to experience their ""great service"".
After having a horrible experience with another plumber who wasted our money and, more importantly, our time. Doug and Jermaine were life savers. We had a BIG project to complete with very limited resources due to the previous plumber. These men did great work, saved a project that was quickly spiraling out of control, and came in on budget.
Why not 5 stars? I'll save that for a few months out to see if there are any kinks/hiccups.
Bryan W.Excellent service. They are friendly, professional, and really good plumbers! They will give you a detailed, accurate analysis of your plumbing issues, get you a reasonable estimate and get the job done, quickly.
