Found our laundry room with three inches of water--on a Saturday-- called The Drain Specialists and wow!-- what fantastic service! Have to recognize KEN, the person on call, who called quickly, asking us appropriate questions and things to try before he came out for the 'overtime rate'-- very helpful. Turns out it was our main sewer that was blocked with roots; he was able to clear it within an hour -- he had even researched city records to see how and when our pipes had been fixed/replaced --and gave us great tips for keeping it clear. Such a relief! HIGHLY recommend.

Main line was clogged, possibly due to pipes not being used over 2 months before I moved in. Cleared out the pipes in less than an hour and charged a more than reasonable price.

I would not recommend!!!!! I had a sewer drain clogged. They came the end of August and clean out. Called them again Christmas day. Three weeks later clogged again. Two days later clogged again. They do not stand behind there work. They were not interested in finding the problem just charging. Charged me each time. Never suggest a camera. I called someone else they found problem right away. Stay away from them!!!

I had a backed up sewer line. Like anyone hiring a plumber right now I was worried about time and cost. I called. A professional woman answered and gave me hourly quotes for the lines they service and told me I'd have someone by midday. Within 2hrs Chris appeared. He fixed my problem. He saw another issue I may want to address and gave me the option of doing it myself or him doing it with a cost in the same breath. I really respected the upfront pricing. He managed to complete all of the work in an hour. I was provided updates, answers to my questions and a summary at the end before paying. I plan get root maintenance set up with them as soon as possible and would recommend this company.

Because Covid: Chris arrived with a mask on properly and in fresh disposable gloves. He changed his gloves after working and before handling my payment. He cleaned my card and the pen before and after we each held them.

Excellent customer service! They were prompt with the pipe stoppage and were able to clear the line without charging me an arm and a leg. They even recommended the excavating team who did an awesome job replacing our sewer line. These guys know what they are doing! I appreciate all of their help and would recommend them to anyone who is struggling with their sewer line or drain concerns.

I will never trust anyone but the Drain Specialists for our plumbing needs. We recently bought an old house on the South Hill with limited access to our snake out line. Three other plumbers came and looked at it and said ""no way"" before these guys showed up and handled our problem with confidence and ease. They were extremely prompt and charged a very reasonable amount. In addition, they offered very good advice about what we should do in the future to make our house plumbing situation better. My husband was sick with gastroenteritis the day the plumbing backed up (worst day ever!) and we would have been UP A CREEK without Eldon et al. Don't trust anyone else-- these are your guys!!! One Friday my knucklehead grandson who apparently didn't know the difference between a plunger and a toilet brush, broke off the latter trying to remove a clog. I hired The Drain Specialists to remove the broken off brush. I was told by office staff that the brush had in fact been removed and was billed $141.31--- $95 for 1 hour and $35 to remove/replace toilet. Saturday I get a call that there is still a problem, the apartment management called Action Drain who removed the toilet and found the brush in the line below the concrete slab floor, which they were able to remove.
When I called The Drain Specialists to complain and ask for some kind of settlement, all the service manager Eldon wanted to do was argue my every point and he actually told me, and I quote, ""that they had done what I had hired them to do...REMOVE A BROKEN TOILET BRUSH FROM THE TOILET"".....which technically I guess they did !!!!! The broken toilet brush WAS no longer in the toilet.
