These guys gave me a very honest estimate and told me not to do something that was unnecessary. They saved me a bunch of money.
Brian T.To close the loop on this - it wasn't a landscaping or drainage issue. Denver water came out to install a new water line and also scoped out the sewer line. They showed me exactly what they found.
During installation, someone on the drain solvers team had punctured the pipe which resulted in water coming out of the pipe until tree roots had completed filled the hole. This explains the dirt disappearing.
Anyways, Drain Solvers folded and were ""bought"" by another service company at the same address. Doing a little digging, it's the same exact team of people, they just rebranded to avoid these reviews.
Sue M.Terrible business people!! They are way overpriced, insist on 1/2 down, (which I never got a receipt for) charge you 30% cancellation fee (because if you got a second opinion you would halt production immediately!) and never really explained their charges to me. Part of the job was done. After they left,
my basement flooded again. Another plumber came out and finished the required snaking job and let me know that I had been ripped off by Drain Solvers. Another friend observed the pipe replacement that Drain Solvers had done and told me that ""at the most, it involved $75.00 worth of parts"". Scott, (Drain Solver's plumber) was at my house for maybe 1 1/2 hrs and had to go to Home Depot to get a part in that amount of time. How could that be when I had already pain $714.00 in advance to pay for the $75.00 worth of pipes? When I questioned Manny, the supervisor about the appropiateness of these charges he affirmed that they were correct and that I had signed the contract to allow the work to be done. I did call Drain Solvers to come back when my basement flooded again after 6 days and was told it would cost me another $325.00 for a service call. I got Isaac from Rapid Rooter to come help me and he charged me $110.00 to actually unclog my pipes. Beware of Drain Solvers. Very unethical business!
Called around 7pm on a Saturday evening due to a water heater not working (drained it myself due to rusty water just couldn't get the pilot to re-light). Guy on call seemed hesitant and then told me it would be an hour before he could get up here. I told him it wasn't a huge rush but needed it resolved the same evening. He called me an hour later to tell me he wouldn't be able to make it until the following morning. When I asked how early, he told me between 7:30 & 8am. I explained that I have a kid with high medical needs and I needed hot water as soon a possible; I stupidly agreed to the next morning (my son was already in bed at this point) thinking it registered that having hot water is vital to my son's care.
Of course he was a no show between 7:30 & 8am. When I called, he said it would be closer to 8:30. I'm no genius but there is at least a slight delay between lighting a pilot light and the water being hot enough to use. The guy on call had no sense of urgency. I realize this wasn't a leaking pipe, but not every situation is a blatant emergency.
***UPDATE
Repair man was SUPER nice.
Water heater lit in 5 minutes and we are on our way to modern conveniences/needs.
Still would have preferred a resolution in a more timely manner.
This company are shysters! Clogged kitchen drain which is rarely used in the garden level or our home. We declined the very expensive original quote. They then lowered the price and said the prices have gone up since the Boulder flood. Hmmm. The flood was over 2 years ago! Drain still clogged, bubbling up black water. Now we need to call a reputable plumber.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

JUDGE FOR YOURSELF!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! After discussing scheduling a visit out to my property (homeowner) to inspect an ejector pump installed by them just 1-yr. ago with the hopes that they would replace the pump under the 7-yr warranty they sold me, I was verbally berated for the quality of the work environment and original installation on my home (that was built in the early 1970s). The individual I spoke with profanely described why he should not be coming out to the property this time around, despite the fact that they had already been out once before and improperly assessed the situation...resulting in a later malfunction that caused me to seek out a more honorable company in the area.
For those of you seeking honorable, timely, and professional service that is not overpriced or disingenuous, save yourself the money, anger, and stress and seek an alternative.
Lastly, their Better Business Bureau license was revoked in late 2014 due to refusal to resolve outstanding claims. The list of reviews speak for themselves.
Ashley K.Strongly recommend you do not use this company for your plumbing needs.
My last review was removed because I told the truth. Hmmm.
So here, I will just say they did not do a good job. Or any job for that matter.
And it was expensive.
Be warned. Total douchbags.
Stop! Stop! Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, please take a minutes and check out all of their reviews and DO NOT BE A VICTIM LIKE ME. They get an ""F"" rating with Better Business Bureau, call 303-758-2100 or log on their website and read all of the complaints.
Take your times and get two or three quotes from other companies, I am sure by then you will NOT want to deal with this company because their crews are incompetent and they would blame the problems on you for tempering or messing with the parts. As a widow, I don't know anything about pluming and why should I do that when I have three years warranty?
The total charges was $1,113.00 for them to replace a tub drain stop in one bathroom and install a new shower head, spout, cartridges, handle and plate in the second one.
I showed the bill to two other companies, they told me I was over charged for the job. I called Cheryl to ask for a list of charges, she refused to provide me one.
BEWARE OF THEIR PROMISES:
Bob who is he manager is very rude, arrogant, he would scream, yelling and hung up on you to scare you off and hoping that you would giving up and forget about the problems. Cheryl who is the office Manager did not keep her promise to send some one out to fix the faucet which they installed and it still has THREE YEARS WARRANTY.
STORIES:
Anthony and Kodiak came to fix and install faucets in my two bathrooms. The next day, when I released the water from my bathtub, it flooded my whole ceiling. Andrew and Kodiak came back to fix it but they said it was not part of what they did. I never had a flood until they worked on my bathroom!
Their Manager promise to fix my ceiling but then they changed their mind later.
Then came the second flood and again, they blamed on other factors.
One day, I could not shut off the water from the new faucet which they installed; they said they are on a ""BIG JOB"" and could not come for THREE DAYS LATER.
Kodiak came and took parts with him to get new parts and HE NEVER CAME BACK. When I called, Cheryl said we will not fix it because some one has tempering with it. As a widow, I don't even know where to start to fix the problem alone tempering with it? This is how they treated their customer.
THINGS TO AVOID:
Do not allow them to take a look at your home so they can suggest ways to improve your systems; it is just a way for them to talk you into a more expensive package! They will use scare tactics to talk you into it especially if you are a woman or widow!
Their three years warranty means NOTHING if they DON'T COME BACK to fix the problems.
PLW
Stacey G.AVOID! 3Xs more expensive
Charged me $395 to clean out my main, month later its clogged again called another company and they main is cleared out to the street for $119.
Drain solvers also tried to get me to replace my main for ~20K,
I may still have to do that, but was quoted less than $6000.
