Kevin replaced two sump pumps, installed a water backup, unclogged a drain, and fixed two toilets all for an extremely fair price! He was punctual, professional, and did excellent work. He returned my call promptly and scheduled service quickly. He is the owner of the business and also the technician so there is no confusion about what was discussed during a consultation call and then what will be done during the service call as can happen with bigger organizations. I cannot recommend him enough! Thank you, Drain Science!!

Great work. Reasonable price. Is a real licensed plumber who knows what he's doing. Lots of fly by night plumbing companies that hire people who don't know anything. I had a leaky faucet & the 1st plumber said I needed to replace the entire faucet (!! it was a Pfister). He was a very nice guy - recent immigrant from Cambodia w/ a math degree working for a friend - but didn't know how these fancy new faucets work (the design of new plumbing fixtures is a separate issue). Found Kevin & he told us how to order the necessary cartridge from Amazon & installed it after it was delivered. Today, he came & snaked the kitchen drain (we're letting too much grease & food go down drain).

I see one bad review & all the others are 5 stars (like mine).

I hate calling the big plumbing companies: you call in, talk to a dispatcher who doesn't know plumbing but does schedule and send out a plumber. The plumber reports to an owner who makes the rules (and takes a chunk of the revenue).

Kevin is all three; he's the whole company--he answers the phone (his cell), schedules himself for the appointment, and then does the work.

He even has an email address and sends his invoice electronically (or accepts payment by check if you prefer). I paid by ApplePay!

His rates were very reasonable (for plumbers)--$140 for our admittedly fairly quick and easy job, including parts and labor.

I don't have a sense if he'd be the right guy for a big job--quite possibly yes--but he seems like the kind of person who would tell you right away if he was out of his league.

Anyway, just wanted to spread the word!

Drain science was good but Kevin came a mos ago to fix something. He ordered a part and has since not responded to any texts or phone calls to follow up. He's gone completely silent. Totally unprofessional. Now I'm stuck paying to get problem re-accessed.

Kevin is the best. We had several plumbers look at a problem with our sink and tell us it couldn't be fixed without paying lots of money. Kevin assessed - by photo - got the needed parts, and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. He spent a bunch of time talking us through other plumbing related projects too.

Kevin is a skilled, honest, and reasonably priced plumber who I highly recommend. I called him about replacing a water heater tank. He gave a fair price which was lower than another estimate I received, and he was able to come out and do the work the next day. He noted many things about the existing water, gas, and vent connections which were improperly fitted. He fixed everything from leaking pipes, pitch of the vent, old valves, and a clogged drain, and brought everything up to code. He didn't mind my asking questions and picking his brain about other plumbing related issues. Kevin is clearly a knowledgeable and experienced tradesman. I plan to hire him again in the future.

I had contacted Kevin with Drain Science based on positive reviews from others in my neighborhood. Kevin did not disappoint. We had an unusual issue with the pipes behind our shower rattling. He came and did a thorough yet efficient assessment of the issue, and then quickly scheduled a time where he could come and fix it. I should note that one other contractor with plumbing experience couldn't figure it out.

His prices were reasonable, and Kevin is accessible, friendly, and honest. Perhaps most important, he is clearly competent. He knows his stuff, and the issue was fixed. He also did not try to upsell or try to bill in extra services or parts. I will be using Kevin and Drain Science for any future plumbing needs.
