Had a great experience with Drain Pro Plumbing, needed my kitchen sink snaked. They were one of the few companies that gave an up front estimate for their service. They were also the cheapest up front estimate. They were able to come out 2 days after I messaged them and fix the sink. Plumber was professional, on time, and in and out in less than an hour.

Drain Pro charged me $257 and did not fix the problem. When I called back to have them return, I was told they were too busy. Therefore, I had to call another plumber and pay another fee for the real problem to be fixed. I contacted this plumber to ask for at least half my money back. The manager said all they could do is give me a coupon for $20 off the next time I called them. That is not satisfactory. I will never call this plumber back again, so I will never be using the $20 off coupon. I do not recommend this plumber.

Raman was very professional and worked quick to help me get a sewage pump unjammed at my house. The price was as stated and he showed up in the time window provided. I'd trust to use this company again for any additional needs they service.

Raymond? came out and repaired a drain that an appliance repair guy and Handyman were unable to fix. He was friendly and came out next day. Price was about what you would expect for an hour of work from a plumber. Good plumbers that aren't booked out are getting harder to find in this economy so this was a positive experience.

Here is an update on Drain Pro. After the first time we used them that worked out very well, we never saw that same plumber again. The next job was large. An installation of two new toilets. They didn't have all the parts. Had to come back. Tried to keep the extra parts that came with the already expensive Kohler toilets. They never installed them correctly even though we called a couple of times. The owner even had the gall to tell my husband we were eating into his profits. This is after they didn't do the job right the first time or the second. You would think they'd do a decent job since we had more expensive work to be done. It was awful. We switched to Pinky's plumbing for replacing the outdoor drains and what a difference. On time. Professional. Job done right the first time.

I am very happy with this company and with Raman. He was the third quote I got after being swindled and smooth talked by two big-box drain companies with HUGE quotes. Raman said, ""Here's my quote, better than theirs, I'll have it done right away, done and done."" SO efficient and capable and professional. This is also a big lesson - always get 3 quotes! Although from now on I am just going straight to DrainPro

It's been several months since using Raman and we have had no further problems.

Also tip - don't forget to check the Yelp deal with DrainPro.

I trust him and DrainPro's hundreds of great reviews. You don't get so many great reviews by not being great!

Update: I got a call from the owner or manager explaining their crew miss added travel time and dropped an hour off our job. So great customer service fixing our issue that had left a bad taste in our mouths.

So this is crazy. We were in need of a company to clean up some concrete water from our remodel. We hired Drain Pro and they were out the day after I called which was awesome and they even came out earlier then we were told. Awesome. I was told by Ricky that the hourly rate started from the time they left the shop till the time they returned to the shop. Fine understandable. What was shocking to me was the crew was at our house for 1.5 hours and we were charged a total time of 4.5 hours!!!!! Ok so this would be understandable if we were in Seattle but no we were a total of 15 miles at the most from their shop. When I called asking why it was 3 hours of travel I was told their truck can't go over 50 miles per hour. I'm sorry but even going 35 miles or even 10 miles per hour would take maybe an hour each way at the most. (I looked it up on google maps and look how long it would take via taking a bike) yes, they did tell us from shop to shop but I really find it hard to believe it would take 3 hours total from central Tacoma to Puyallup/Milton area. At $175 dollars per hour that's pretty shocking to get handed an invoice for over $700 in just labor and travel ($1000 total including dumping fee which we were aware of).

NO WAY! CROOKS! My sewer line was backing up and seeping out of my washing machine drain outlet- the low point in my basement. I called Drain (ripoffs) Pro Plumbing. Raymond had his technician ""Bunny"" come out. I had already popped off the 4"" cap for the clean-out in my basement. Bunny drug his snake and camera down to the basement and he told me he would camera and snake it for $400 cash but without receipt. He then camera'd my 60' line to the city line in the alley way. Then he got his locator and marked the problem at the alley at 6'4"" deep where the city main meets my line. Then he tells me I need a new sewer line for $4800 cash with no paper trail or $7800 using my credit card and with a receipt, plus the cutting of a 20' concrete slab 3' wide disposal and re-patch would be at my expense. Bunny was supposed to be out the next day to mark where I was to cut this out. He didn't show up. THANK GOD! As my sewer line was still backing up, I called another contractor (SEWER DETECTIVES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!) to get another opinion. Now I get an accurate diagnosis and for just $300 they camera'd my line, and traced the issue to a bad core connection at the city side main at the alley. They gave me a receipt too!!! They said it was a city issue- and it was! The City of Renton sewer maintenance came out and found a huge rootball ay my connection joint and advised me to have it cleared. SEWER DETECTIVES came back and re-camera'd it and cleared it with a hydrojet and found a crack at the joint at the Y to the city side main. The City of Renton then came back a few days later and dug it all up in the alley and replaced my Y joint connection and part of their line too. Raymond had told me he would reimburse me for the $400 I paid him cash for, with no video nor receipt about 3 weeks ago and said he will send me a check in the mail. Now, 3 weeks later he told me he wants to see my proof and records, etc before he sends me a refund. I say BULL SHIT! This guy is a double crosser scammer! I had already sent him the videos of the camera work, the city pics, and the end results and proper diagnosis by SEWER DETECTIVES. Now it's a matter of principal just as much as money. This crappy (no pun intended) company - DRAIN SCAMMERS PRO-GAG PLUMBING is playing games, and potentially would have cost me over $10,000 dollars when the problem was the city's and I am into it a lot less and should be refunded back to me by the city as it was a connection core issue at the side sewer main- which is their liability. I SAY DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH DRAIN PRO (RIP-OFFS) PLUMBING. They will mislead you, dupe you, and do unnecessary work to accomplish ""leaks fixed or smooth flowing pipes"" when in fact, it quite likely was a really easy fix to begin with!---Just my 2 cents worth. Now, I guess I can update you after I take Raymond and DPP to small claims court-----without a receipt for the $400 cash I paid to Bunny- as he insisted on! But I do have phone records and email records and to be sworn in on beforehand at the courtroom too.....We'll see! Just to re-iterate---These guys are scammers- watch out!

We had a leaking drain and a leaking faucet to match, and also a loose p-trap at a separate sink. When I called, they said they'd have a tech out within the hour, which worked out great for me, even though our situation was not an emergency. I admit that I have not had adequate time to assess the quality of the work, since I am writing the review shortly after the work was performed. But since the work, there are no more leaks. Michael, the tech, was very respectful and very knowledgeable. He also asked my opinion before officially working or changing anything. I did feel in the dark about the final bill, (after tightening pipes and reinstalling a utility sink faucet, and adding a pipe to prevent another pipe from falling off), but I was happy with the reasonable pricing compared to a different estimate from another company. The price difference was quite extreme, and I was happy about it. The work was much more minor than other folks had ""estimated"" over the phone and through pictures, which was a relief. They also accepted the Angie's List coupon deal; to which I always appreciate a good coupon and those who honor them...as I am very likely to return with my business.
