My bathroom was having some plumbing problems and when I contacted my property manager, they had Drain Patrol at my house under an hour on a Friday night. Prompt and professional.

Great job by Scott and his partner, and they came in $900 less than other bids!

Please note, there are several Drain Patrols listed for different neighborhoods but all out of San Diego main office so don't know which one these guys came from but I assume its the same company. Good for basic drain cleaning but not plumbing. The guy who showed was very nice but turns out he was not a plumber (they are ""techs"" operating under the company's license). He brought his ""leak detective"" to localize the leak and figure out where the pipes went. He confirmed there was a leak under the slab but it was too deep to get to so needed to reroute. Never found out where the other pipes actually ran because they couldn't tell the water pipes from the gas pipes (?). Anyway, he said it didn't really matter because it needed a $16,240.00 whole house repipe due to the pipes were going bad (other estimates for a house repipe were between $6,500 - $8000 depending on if PEX or copper was used). After that, I had 2 plumbers (licensed) come in to confirm and both said the pipes looked OK. There was a previous repair with some sloppy soldering in the manifold area but no pipe decay (later confirmed when I did the local repipe and cut out some pieces of the old pipe). The company that I had do the local repipe charged $1,800 and gave a 3 year warrantee for labor (this group said it was 90 days on labor). So I saved over $15,000, not counting the time, hassle and cost of fixing all the holes after the repiping, by not going with them. But the tech was nice.
NOTE: when any plumber quotes you the warrantee, make sure it is Labor (expensive) they are talking about and not the materials (cheap). Also hire your own independent leak detection group, don't use the one the plumber brings with him.

I woke up to a sink filled with dirty water that wouldn't drain. I called my landlord at 9:30a and by 10:50a Sergio with Drain Patrol was at my door. Courtesy and professional, Sergio was able to efficiently assess the issue and promptly fixed it. I am very impressed with this company and Sergio's professionalism. He completed the job before 12:00p the same day.

Don't use this lame, unprofessional, hack company. The owner of my condo continues to use them through his property management company, probably to save money instead of calling a real plumbing company.
No matter what time you book them for they are always 1 1/2-2 hours late. They always give the excuse that the last job ran over and they're short on technicians. One time I had a simple flex line put in for my water heater. Look at this mickey mouse job (picture)! I had to tell the so called plumber that he used a length too long. He seemed puzzled, but finally drive to Home Depot to get a shorter line.
Next time I scheduled them the tech showed up, looked at a sink leak for 15 seconds, said he had to go outside and call to get approval to complete the work and 2 hours later still didn't return. I had to call and complain that he never came back!! They were dumbfounded and then after several minutes on hold they came back on the line and made an excuse that he was still awaiting approval. They aren't professional and do not know how to communicate. There are so many competitors, use one of them instead.

I came home early from work hoping to have a nice afternoon of baking. To my surprise I found my water heater leaking and flooding the garage floor. I immediately called Handy man on Demand, who are my go to for everything guys, and Charles referred me to Drain Patrol, he called them and they were at my home within 30 minutes. It is of course 3:45pm now, Thomas, the technician was not sure we could get another and replace it today, however he took it out brought it back to place of purchase and bought the new one which happened to be in stock, after of course letting us know the cost. He returned and stayed until 7pm making sure I had hot water tonight.
I appreciate the fact that even though he should have been home by 5pm he made sure that my family was taken of. So Kudos to Thomas and Drain Patrol for hiring technicians like him. I recommend them to anyone who needs the type of work they provide.

Scheduled yesterday between 3 and 5pm. Never showed up, 'a technichan was not available'. Rescheduled this morning between 10 and 11am. It is now 2:30 and they still have not arrived.

So, I called Drain Control because my company uses them and seemed to be happy with the service. I read the yelp reviews and found them to be mixed...great or horrible. I rolled the dice and well.....it came up one.

I made an appointment at 9:30am to come to my home at 5:30pm. I explained to them that both of my two toilets were not flushing properly and that I urgently need it taken care of today. I expressed concern because of the ratings on Yelp, but they said they'd give me the corporate rate since we use them at my place of business.

Okay, so I leave work early to get home in time to meet the plumbers. Oh, guess what????? Half hour before they were to arrive, I get a call from dispatch that they're running a little behind. I ask how behind, but she cannot give me even a guesstimate ETA. (Don't even get me started about trying to get a base price for unclogging a toilet.......) Sooooooooo.....6:30....no call, so I call them back. They still have no idea when they'll be her. 7:30....no call....so I call them back.....stil no idea when they'll be here...not even sure if they will be here tonight.

I called dispatch again and explained that I used them despite the negative reviews on Yelp and will never do so again. The company will no longer use them either. The dispatch girl was very apologetic and I didn't get super irritated with her, as I realize she was just the phone answerer....anyway....run...steer clear....

Use Courtesy PLumbing!!! THey're professional, considerate, could give me an estimate for the suspected issue over the phone. They didn't service my area but told me that if I couldn't find someone reputable, they'd come out anyway and not charge me a travel fee.

Wow....now I feel a little better.....

Used Drain Patrol for an emergency Drain clearing. I called at 10:00pm, by 11:00pm the plumber showed up and gave me a straight forward quote to clear out the drain clog issue on my kitchen sink. After 1 hour snaking all the way down, he got the job done. He was more than polite, I was so glad he was able to come and even charged us less than the given got pre-start of project.

I would use them again if I have to and I recommend.

We haven't had much need for drain care, fortunately, but when we do have problems, we always call Drain Patrol. Their servicepeople are knowledgable and congenial. Derrick explained what he was doing thoroughly. Due to some mechanical issues, the tub and floor got pretty dirty, and Derrick cheerfully and thoroughly returned them to pristine shape. The fact that I called at 8am and they were out by 1pm the same day, and the fact that the company cheerfully honored an 8 year old discount coupon, are just icing on the cake.
