Plumbing Nerds is the third version of the water company established by our founder after moving in Southwest Florida in 2007. At first, he focused on construction jobs. However, after weathering the 2008-2009 recession, he came to see that working for contractors lacked the flexibility over his company flow that he desired.

In 2012, Verhoff changed his efforts to domestic services, first collaborating with a colleague on a company that had locations in the Sunshine State and additional states. When he took over his friend on the local portion of the business in 2016, he sought a different name and brand. This is when Plumbing Nerds was born.
