Drain Nerds is the third evolution of the water company founded by our founder after relocating in Fort Myers in 2007. In the beginning, he concentrated on new construction. However, after weathering the 2008-2009 recession, he understood that working for contractors did not provide the flexibility over his work processes that he desired.

In 2012, Verhoff shifted his focus to home services, initially partnering with a associate on a venture that had branches in Florida and two other states. When he took over his associate on the local part of the business in 2016, he required a fresh name and identity. That's when Plumbing Nerds was born.
