CJ recently replaced my water heater. Upon a request for a quote, he was very straightforward and honest. We scheduled a date and time. When he arrived, he walked through the house since I had asked for him to install a water recirculator as well. He told me with the type of pipes my house has, he didn't have the right parts to do the job correctly. We had to reschedule which wasn't a big deal other than the drive for him. Once he got the parts, we scheduled another time. The new water heater is working great and we couldn't be happier with the service. Highly recommend Drain Monkey!

Perfect service as expected. I requested a quote on yelp and he responded right away. He was able to complete my request at an appointment time that I needed to work for me. The owner, TJ, is incredible! WOW!

We've lived in Prescott less than two years. Always struggling to get service help. YELP has been a Godsend! TJ responded to our call for estimate within two minutes on Christmas Eve day. (Others took 2-4 days!)

I had put one of those blue tablets in toilet tank to keep lower bowl clean. Within 30 minutes, tablet had eaten away lining in upper tank and it was leaking bright blue water on bathroom floor!!! Husband turned off water to tank and we flushed it. We decided it was time to replace 2, primary toilets w low water usage models.

TJ gave us a more than fair quote adding he could provide new toilets or we could. We wanted to choose. TJ suggested that before purchase we tell him what we were considering to purchase.

First model we choose, TJ said was both problematic to install, so more costly install AND he had experienced more service problems with it!
Whew! We dodged a problem! Second choice was one he thought we'd be very pleased with.

He called prior to arrival. Is EXTREMELY polite, careful with items in home, CLEAN, and intelligent. He said not to buy ANY tablets for upper tank. You CAN put cleaners in lower tho.

He worked carefully, silently and quickly! He also installed a Bio Bidet toilet seat on one, new toilet.

Lastly, he did something no service worker we've had in this house, nor any previous house, has done. He took us to each toilet, showing us what he'd done. He explained not to use the toilets for 24-48 hours, because the chalk between the toilet and floor tile would not be hardened yet. He told us caulk needed to turn from white to clear. He said toilets may rock and that's OK because the tile might not be level. He explained that does not hurt the toilet or cause leakage. He showed my husband how to easily and professionally do small repairs on the toilets.

We asked if we should turn off the water since we'd be away for three months. He took the time to look at our water heaters, and to our surprise, he showed us that we had an instant hot water devise on one water heater. He said if we turned off the water, we'd absolutely need to unplug this or it would burn out. I don't remember the name of this devise.

He looked at both water heaters. He handed us the manuals for the bidet and the toilet. This was a more thorough experience than going to our doctors!

This review is long, but TJ and Drain Monkey are worthy of it. We asked for several of his cards to distribute to neighbors. One neighbor already has booked him. Drain Monkey will be our go-to plumber as long as we live in the area which we hope will be for a very long time.

10/10! Got a new toilet installed in literally 20 minutes, and they hauled away my old one. Extremely polite, and to the point, no drama or stress. Shockingly fair pricing.

Writing a yelp request for having my toilets swapped out as they didn't feel right . Drain monkey came out and, in a very short time, pulled fixed and re seated the toilets and even cleaned the leftover grout ring from the previous toilet installation. Great job and great company ! Fast. Friendly. Fair.

I am very happy with the service and product from start to finish. The technician (Clint) was very polite and straightforward. He was able to schedule an appointment with my household within about 48 hours. I felt so confident in his abilities that I skipped the free consultation and just told him to come on over. He installed an American Standard brand TOILET, which is the benchmark for toilets. I was happy that the service was a flat fee because I knew what I was getting into.

Clint was so good at what he did for our toilet situation that we invited him to come back the next day to fix our WATER HEATER. He was able to work (over the phone) with the electrician we had hired in order to figure out where the problem was located. (We were told my the previous water heater plubmer that it was electrical.) He was able to fix the issue without the electrician present. He fixed the electrical cord located well inside the top of the unit and also replaced the heating element. And voila! we had hot water!

I think it says a lot about a technician (Clint) when he is more knowledgable, professionally dressed in a uniform, and less expensive than the previous plumber who was much older and, therefore, would have had more experience. Clint drove a company van and a name tag.

I was nervous about hiring a technician from a company that had zero business reviews on Yelp. But I am pleased with the this experience. We will call Clint for all our future plumbing needs.
