This was my first experience with Drain Mechanics, but Stephen & Isaac were so terrific, it won't be my last. As a realtor, I need to have contractors in all fields that I know are reliable, professional & courteous. Stephen & Isaac hit every expectation. Stephen was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood what was happening during the entire septic inspection. My clients live out of state & couldn't be here for the inspection, so they relied on me to get it right. Thanks to Stephen & Isaac, I believe I did. I'll definitely be calling again, for my clients, and should the need arise at my own home.

Second time we've used Drain Mechanics in the 6 years we've lived in Melbourne. They are prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. The first time we called them was a holiday weekend when we had family visiting. They came out on that holiday weekend Sunday and took care of business and charged me only about half of what I expected. This time they were a third of the price other plumbers wanted. They are now the only plumbers we will call.

Called them out for a leaking toilet. Plumber came same day and took our wall mount toilet off wall and placed it face down on floor. He promised to call next day to let us know if we'd need to replace whole toilet or just gasket. No call all that week, so we called office on Monday to inquire. Office didn't know and told us they'd get update from serviceman. No call back that day so we called again next day to gain information. Office manager told us she'd for sure call us back that day. No call that day or for two more days. Called again on Friday, by now with frustration and disappointment at having a toilet off the wall for two weeks and zero communication. I asked to speak to the owner and was told they were not in. Left a detailed message with office staff with my concerns and email address. They NEVER RETURNED A SINGLE CALL...EVER. Left my family of 4 in a very difficult position and shocked us with their unprofessional office management.

Drain-your-wallet Mechanics is what these people should be called. Today 3/13/23 was a sad day. My dishwasher was backing into my shower. I'm on septic. They sent one set of plumbers out who charged me $100 and said, """"We can't do anything about it."""" They did nothing. When their septic guys came, they pumped out the two tanks for $500, the problem wasn't fixed. However, the guy was nice and said, call them back and ask for them to snake it from the main stack--it shouldn't take long to clear the clog because the problem is not the septic or the drain field. In addition, I called a couple of other companies and they told me me a snake should not take more than an hour to clear even the hardest clog. They sent a guy. He was sweet but as slow as molasses. He took three hours to snake the main line. He spent an hour snaking the shower when I told him that the septicguy said to do it from the roof. I ended up spending $980 to remove a clog. I feel robbed. The worse part is that if the shower backs up again tomorrow, I have no guarantee. I would have to pay $185 per hour for them to send more inexperienced and slow workers. These guys charge by the hour and they take their time. Use a professional who won't drain your wallet.

Sent a team next day after verifying the Septic was full and they were quick and professional. Robbie & Mike were there at the house already as I arrived, had already dug out to the doors and each step of the way explained what they were doing to verify I understood the process. Professional, proficient and would recommend again!

I've only been a home owner for about five years and this was my first hot water heater replacement. This occurred over a weekend and I was not aware that most plumbing businesses are mon-fri. After calling several businesses with no answer, Josh at Drain Mechanics answered and helped immediately. I'm so appreciative of his help and professionalism as well as that of Jose, our installer. I would definitely recommend these guys. Honest and no price gauging.
