Had a water heater issue at our home and this company was suggested to us. Very impressed with how quickly they responded to the service call and also loved dealing with Zeke (the owner). I will use this company again and happy to suggest them to others. Thank you Zeke

I called on a Sunday at 9pm because a tenant in one of my properties had a kitchen sink almost overflowing. Zeke was professional and very helpful. He made the process easy and quick. He contacted my tenant directly and offered to get someone to fix the problem within the hour.
The technician was also very understanding and patient with me because I didn't have my card ready to pay immediately after service was complete. He gave me the extra hour to get to my office and retrieve my payment card info. After everything was done, Zeke called to follow up and made sure I got my invoice via email like I had wanted. I have many tenant occupied properties in la Jolla and drain masters plumbing will always be my number one call for plum in issues in the future. Thanks Zeke!

We just bought a home in San Diego and unfortunately our water heater burst after 2 months. Zeke had someone to the house within 2 hours and had the water heater delivered and installed the same evening. The water heater was initially installed in a temporary location until the water damage was repaired. George did an outstanding job installing the tank initially and then again after the water damage was repaired. He is honest, thorough, and has good attention to detail. I can be a difficult customer and I appreciate his patience walking me through every step along the way. I will definitely call this company back next time I need a plumber.

We called Drain Masters to remove and install a water heater, located on the outside of the home (easy access). Over the phone they quoted $350.00. Upon arrival to give a written estimate the man who appeared to be ""in charge"" told us first of all that the water heater was too big and would not fit into the space. We had been very careful to measure everything before we purchased the water heater. It would fit just fine. Then we were told that they would have to replace a small section of gas line, two flex water lines and new earthquake straps. For this they would charge an additional $170.00 and another $50 to haul away the old one. Then we were told that WE would have to go purchase those parts with of course added to the total price of the job. One would assume that if you are in the business that you would have all the parts necessary to complete a job and not rely on the homeowner to go out of their way to make the purchases. So while I was out purchasing the parts, the man who appeared to be in charge stated that he had to go to another job and left one guy to do ALL the work by himself. They had originally arrived at 3:00 pm to do the job and by the time the other guy reappeared to pick up the worker, it was 8:00 pm. The guy who ultimately did the job by himself did a great job! Now he was done and had to sit and wait for almost two hours to get picked up. We were furious and expressed our dismay to the other guy when he finally showed up at 8:00. We were unable to leave the house because we couldn't leave until he had been picked up which was very inconsiderate of the company. He stated that they hadn't started the job until 6:30 and couldn't understand why we were upset (in fact we heard him tell his ""boss"" over the phone the same thing). When we asked him to sign a rebate for SDG&E so that we could get our rebate, he bulked stating that he was not the licensed contractor, his boss was and he couldn't sign the paper. He said that he would take it and have his ""boss"" sign it. We told him that once it was signed and we had it back we would pay for the job. Suddenly he decided to call and get permission to sign. We really did not care this man's attitude and demeanor through the whole process. Again, let me say that the man who actually did the work was GREAT. A job that should have taken at the very most two hours ended up taking five hours. Outrageous. We would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

I seriouslly don't get where all these GREAT comments came from, but clearly these guys were fooled into overpaying for simple services. I've done business with MANY MANY MANY plumbers in my lifetime and have gotten to know many of these people on a a personal level. Unfortunately this is the case with this company.

First time around (I'm not gonna name any names) but one of his fellow employees came to a property where I help manage and it was a late-ish around 10 or 11. Thought I'd give them a try since I've seen their fliers around town. It wasn't a major issue but one of the tenants toilet was backed up. Called the guy and he got there in a timely manner, so that was cool. After all said and done he called me back up and asked if I could put the toilet back in myself (????) I've NEVER encountered this problem ever with any plumber EVER! HE basically told me that he needed to charge me extra to place the toilet back in place?? (like wtf?) and he made it such a big deal talking infront of the tenants like it was my fault that I didn't want to pay to put the toilet back in? all-in-all it came out to approx $250 for the snake and toilet. In addition!!... I had told the guy I would make arrangements to pay him the following morning (because it was already 1-2a.m.) and had drank a few beers so I wasnt willing to risk it. He persistently kept calling me and kept asking for my home address and that his OWNER Zeke didn't want to risk losing money. So I assured him that, that wasn't going to be the case and that if anything WAS to happen you could just bill the landlord directly. Then he kept saying that's not gonna work out and Zeke needs payment upon completetion. so I get my tipsy butt outta my home and withdrew the money out to pay him. Certainly didn't care about its customers safety that day.

Now to my last and FINAL encounter with these people. I work at restaruant and this was an ""afterhour"" service call for a replacement flex-line for the bathroom faucet. Keep in mind It was the hot water line that needed replacing NOT the cold one. So Zeke got to jobsite critized us for having old ""cheap"" waterlines, and a ""cheap"" replacement faucet (???) who's he to tell us what to buy and s*** so he offered to buy us a better one and come in to install it the next day for $50+the cost of the faucet. We generously declined his offer because we didnt want to offend him or his line of profession... WOW that certainly wasn't the case for him. While he was down there putting in the flex line and shut off valve I guess he unscrewed half of the cold water line so when the water was turned back on the hotwater was FIXED and then the coldwater started leaking... kinda strange because in the beginning we didn't have a problem with the Cold line... so I tried to screw it back in to solve the issue... moments later the line snapped and he goes ""ohh I guess I gotta fix that too...."" and quoted us some rediculous amount!! we talked him down to $200 then critized us again for negotiating price with him and turned around and said... ""so if I came into your work and said... ohh for that entree is too expensive I only want to pay you ...5bucks, would you like that?? that's not how you do business...."" I was pretty confused about his ""professionalism"" in his place of work.. like he reeked of alcohol coming into the job and his attitude was pretty hostile, like we were interupting him from something important... whatever it was we weren't happy with the way he worked that night. seriously the last time we EVER called this company. and if you do run into an emergency that needs immediate attention, I'd advise you to call someone else who doesn't run a dishonest business. or better yet, go to homedepot and buy the parts yourself and just pay for labor. because 4flex lines and 2 shutoff valves ran us less than $50... seriously hopes this helps everyone and anyone looking for an ""honest"" plumber who's not too busy spending his time getting wasted and goes into the jobsite acting like a douche.

Watch out, these guys tried to rip me off.
I called them to go to a rental property I own. They determined the kitchen faucet was broken and needed to be replaced, which made sense to me. The price they quoted me to replace a kitchen faucet.....$575!!! I had just bought a new kitchen faucet for my own home at Costco for under $100, so I knew this was absurd. When I expressed so, the guy on the phone began negotiating with me. I wound up running over to Costco, getting a faucet for $80, and taking it over, where he installed it for $125.
While they did a good job getting it done, they clearly tried to rip me off big time. If I didn't know what it should have cost, they might have succeeded.

I would be very hesitant to call them again if I can't trust them!

I live in Otay Ranch, Chula Vista and had a kitchen sink clog. First off, The boss at Drain Masters was able to schedule a appointment to come out to my house the next day. Great fast service. Highly Recommended. Appointment was from 9am - 11am and George showed up at 8:55am.

George is one of their plumber techs. He did a very fine job. Cleaned up after himself even though he didn't make much mess and had a very positive attitude. He was able to fix the clog and took care of everything. Very professional.

Our toilet was draining extremely slow so we contacted our landlord who sent Zeke over with Drain Masters Plumbing Co. He was extremely professional and showed up on time. He did a quick diagnosis and then decided we needed a new toilet. We mentioned that we liked the toilet our neighbor had, he said it would be no problem and he would get us one of those. SWEETTTTT! So excited for a new toity! He came back a few days later and was even an hour early! I was actually happy about that because the sooner he came and ""did his business"" ha the sooner I could start my day. He uninstalled and installed in less than an hour and he even added caulking to the base of the toity so we didn't have any potential water leakage. Thanks Zeke!

Don't use this company. It's the classic Bait-and-Switch. They quoted $75 on the phone for their basic drain-cleaning service. When George showed up, it seems that ""basic service"" is just showing up, and maybe opening a p-trap. He said it would cost $140 to put a snake in the drain. Most people would think that drain-cleaning means cleaning the drain, and it takes a snake to do that! I told George I would not pay $140 when I had been quoted $75, so he might as well leave. He agreed to do the work for $100 since he was here already. It took him all of ten minutes to snake 50 feet of drain! So he got his $75 for showing up and $25 for putting a snake in the drain. Get a FIRM quote before using this company. These guys are rip-off artists.
