I was fortunate to have Mitchell come out to my condo to assess, and ultimately replace, a damaged cartridge for my shower valve. His professionalism, expertise, and calm demeanor allowed him to efficiently and effectively fix the issue, despite facing an unexpected and stressful situation. For example, while Mitchell was removing the broken cartridge, the hot water shut-off valve in my condo broke, and in a matter of seconds, he was completely drenched in water that was being discharged at a high-rate of speed. Because of Mitchell's composure and quick-thinking, we were able to shut-off the water to the entire building, which prevented any potential flooding and/or water damage to my condo. Furthermore, while the building's water was being shut-down, Mitchell identified the type of cartridge he needed. Understanding that he needed to replace the cartridge as soon as possible in order to get the water turned back on for the other residents of the building, Mitchell drove to Home Depot and purchased a new cartridge. Once he returned, he not only installed the new cartridge, but also cleaned the tub to remove any dirt that accrued during his repair of the shower valve. Finally, he knew exactly what kind of plumber I needed to fix my hot water shut-off valve, and he relayed this information to my insurance, which allowed my insurance company to immediately schedule a plumber to come fix my broken shut-off valve. Mitchell exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a skilled and professional plumber. He was able to remain calm during the process to get the job done and had a very good attitude.

I am so disappointed!!! What a night!! If you are looking for a polite and friendly company who is not trying to take your money do not call these guys!! I have never been so treated so disrespectfully being a customer in my life!! We called this company to snake our lines due to a back up in our bathroom. The answer center sent someone out, he snaked just the main line and then left. He charged us $225, and when we walked back into our bathroom we saw that our tub was still full. The reason why we had him come out was not solved!! So we called the answer center back, the employee begin to yell at my husband and explained we would have to pay another $165. We felt like we were being taken advantage of. The employee continued to yell and cus at my husband and then hung up. We called the answer center back and asked to speak to the owner. The owner calls and instead of defusing the situation or trying to solve it, he gets into a argument with my husband. I jump on the phone and explain to the owner that the reason we called them out was because of a backup in our tub. The owner tells me that he is sick of customers trying to get over on him. I tried to explain to him that I am not trying to take advantage, I just want our tub to drain. Before the owner hung up on me, I was trying to explain that no matter how broke I could ever be that I would never take advantage of his company. The one nice thing he said before hanging up was that his company does not need my money and he would refund the $225 to us. His last words were we would have to deal with him! Wow, I was in shock!! I honestly feel bad for this company, people must have really taken advantage of them, for them to treat customers this way! I can truly say from my heart that we just wanted our problem fixed!! I pray that they realize that there is good people in the world and not everyone is trying to get over on them!

A plumber, Mitch, came out to fix a leak under my house. He wasn't able to reach the leak which is understandable but instead of letting me know that he just left and the warranty company called me to tell me he couldn't do the work. Meanwhile the leak is still spraying water under my house. I told him I was inside the house if he needed anything and he chose to just leave while I'm inside thinking work is being done. COMPLETELY, unprofessional and lazy. Zeke, the owner, also refused to send him back to shut the water off when I complained. Stay away from this company!
Edit - the owner Zeke just threatened me because of this review. He told me I'd find out who I was messing with and he's going to start breaking my windows. I'm calling the police.

They came out right away within the hour and charged very reasonable price.Zeke was the plumber

Prompt polite efficient and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for a plumber in San Diego

This company is absolutely unprofessional/rude. I was referred to them through my warranty company so I gave them a call. When I gave them a call an intake person answered and forwarded my info/problem to the plumber. The plumber gave me a call back and said that he was on vacation and wasn't accepting any calls (which really isn't my problem) so i gave the Drain Masters a call back saying that the plumber they forwarded my info to was on vacation. Then I asked them to forward my info to another plumber because I didn't want to bother anyone outside of work. 5 minutes later I get a call from the same plumber and he's talking to me with a hostile tone as if I was an imbecile ""I thought I told you I wasn't taking any calls"", I then responded that I tried to avoid them calling him and I assumed that a plumbing company had more than one plumber. He attempted to patronize me so I hung up in order to not escalate the issue. This is partially my warranty company's fault, but that is no excuse for the plumbers to speak to customers that way. I own a business myself and even if I'm dealing with a confused customer/client, I maintain my cool. I'm surprised they have better reviews than I expected in all honesty.

Zeke's the man. Came out on a home warranty call, was exactly on time per the appointment. Courteous, friendly, and my dogs liked him! He diagnosed the problem fast and took care of it in a jiffy. Would most definitely recommend him and his company!

My toilet was continuously running and was making minor water noises. Drainmasters replaced the water valve and internal toilet master. I was told that I had a crack in my toilet and that I would need to replace the entire toilet after the running water continued the following day when I called him back to say the problem was not fixed. I was charged $350 which was at ""discounted rate"" for just doing business originally and I would get a refund for the misdiagnoses and refunded the parts. I was told I would only be charged only another $175 labor to replace a new toilet which I would have to buy. Turns out my toilet only needed a $5 toilet flapper that I figured out later when I made the time to look inside the toilet myself. Expensive lessen learned, if you don't like expert diagnosis and money...call drain masters!!!

We used Zeke for water heater install a few years ago and he was outstanding. So when my other w/h went out yesterday i didn't call anyone else.He sent Tony out the next day,he did a great job was very friendly, professional and fast.Zeke and his team are there to help at fair price and no sales pitch. If have a plumbing problem give them a call.

I recently used Drain Masters for leak detection of a drain leak. Technician was Tony. He did a great job of isolating the leak. My problem was caused by rotted out copper DSW pipes. Tony's was great and found the problem right away. His methods and work was sound. My only complaint was the quote for the repair and quote for repipe job. I was quoted $15K for repipe. I obtained three other quotes from commercial plumbers which all came in around $4K-$6K. Not sure why he quoted so high. Maybe he didn't want to do the job? If you use them, make sure you obtain pricing for work upfront.
