I have been using Ian at Drain Masters for over 3 years. He was first recommended to me by my real estate broker when I bought my house in Santa Barbara. From day one, Ian has been honest, reliable and trustworthy and has helped me with every plumbing problem imaginable when buying a house. His pricing is very reasonable and he sincerely cares. When I text him he responds fast and schedules me in a timely manner, I can rely on him 100%. Do not hesitate calling him for any plumbing problem.

I hired this company to replace the lateral sewer line. I had requested bids from a few companies that came out with cameras to inspect the job. Some were outrageously expensive or never provided a bid after multiple calls . Very frustrating! Finally, I called Drain Masters on a friend's recommendation. They responded quickly, Inspected the lines while showing us the video and explaining the problem, and provided a reasonable bid. They were able to do the job within a few days and showed up promptly on the date. They worked efficiently and neatly. The job required accessing the pipes by cutting holes through concrete in two places. It was completed in two days. This company is very professional and knowledgeable about sewer lines. I highly recommend!

I recently became aware of having to replace my sewer line! After contacting several companies who did this work I wasn't able to get much of an understanding what was involved nor a clear price! I then came upon Chris and Ian at Drain Masters who were very clear to explain what was involved, the difference between a liner and a new pipe and what it would cost.
Shortly afterwards Ian and his crew were at my home exactly as scheduled and began the work. The project could not have gone better!
Additionally Ian was a delight to deal with plus, while their work was the best their price was also!
I enthusiastically recommend Drain Masters for any such work. While replacing a sewer line is a significant undertaking Ian saw to all going exceptionally well!

We had a sewer pipe break under our home, causing the sewage water from three units to spill into the crawlspace. The first emergency plumber we called made the problem worse and let us know he did not have the right equipment to help us. We had similar luck with several other plumbers that we were connected with through our home warranty company. Finally, we decided to go outside of the warranty and called Drain Masters, which was the right call. Chris and his team came to our rescue and were able to fully resolve the issue in a few hours and even found a clean out pipe in the front that had been buried. Drain Masters are truly experts in the field and I cannot recommend them enough.

Updating my review, to add in again how Chris & Ian have gone above and beyond again. Their knowledge, patience, and stand up ethics make them one of our top suppliers.

Please note Drain Masters has been in business for decades in Santa Barbara and are NOT to be confused with an entirely different company in Oxnard area that took their same name. They have no connection & even a review was posted to them that was for Oxnard. SBA DrainMasters are doing what they can to remedy this, but just be very aware and ensure it is Ian and Chris D. in SBA.

Family run business...former fire fighters and some extended family are still with the service. Support local, support well run ethical companies like DrainMasters.

Happy to answer any questions on what we had done etc. I loved their use of cameras, can do attitude and idea for a catch system. Chris also had a solution for our weeping drains on side of house that caused discoloration on the paint. I wish more companies were like DrainMasters Santa Barbara. Thank you!

Quoted me $1600 and told me only a hydrojet would fix my kitchen sink pipe blockage. Got another opinion thankfully and the other company fixed my blockage fot $300 without a hydrojet. Anecdotally, my friend told me they had a similar experience with Drainmaster and, unfortunately, didn't get another quote.
