Made an appointment and was given a time slot of 3-5pm. Rushed him from work to get there by 3. At about 5:10 no show and no call. I called and then he found my name and said it had gotten lost in his books. The only good thing was he came straight over then. We had a leaky toilet. My husband thought he could probably fix it but doesn't really have time to mess around with stuff like that during the week and we were going to have a guest. The plumber showed me the part that was the problem and said he could order it, and that if we tried to get it at Home Depot they wouldn't have the right fit. He said the part would be about $60 and labor something like $150. He then basically tried to tell me I should just get a whole new toilet from them. When my husband came home I showed him the part, and he ended up ordering it online and fixing it himself... for a whopping $16! So glad we avoided being ripped off. Luckily there was no charge for the visit. I don't know if that's the norm or because of screwing up the appointment.

My kitchen sink clogged up on Friday night so the next morning I called my usual plumber but he was completely booked...so I do what I always do...I Yelped for help! I called, Edward answered right away, gave me a steadfast quote for the problem, gave me a window of time for his arrival...he came within that time frame, fixed the problem and charged me what he said he would. I got exactly what I asked for. End of story. Thank you, Edward!

don't let them buy a toilet for you. 50% mark up on what you could otherwise purchase yourself at Home Depot! Charged $225 for a Toilet that was $150 cost to anyone off the street. Oh, and by the way it's a piece of crap! I would have been happy to pay whatever for a good toilet, but got a cheap one for a premium price. Not Happy! Their tagline is ""Honesty is our policy"". yea, right! He could have told me I could take 20 minutes and save myself $75.... Won't be using these guys again.

These guys are the real deal.

Called them at 10:30am on a Saturday with a completely stopped drain. Edward said he'd be by in a little over an hour. He showed up 30 minutes early and was done in 30 more. Price for clearing the drain and replacing the stopper and trap was in line with what others have mentioned.

I'm a handyman myself, so many plumbing jobs are within my comfort zone. Occasionally, however, the job is too major and/or I just feel it's better to pass and call in an ""expert"". Eddie is my backup, and it's AWESOME to have a company like Drain Masters on your team. I tried for 3 days to unclog my own kitchen drain line; Eddie had it flowing in 20 minutes. I confidently recommend Drain Masters to my customers--they're awesome!

I scheduled an appointment to install water softener. The first time nobody showed up, I called and left a message. They called me back in 2 days, apologized and we rescheduled. The exact same story happened the next time. I was in disbelief, but decided to give them a third chance.

On the third attempt Drain Masters did come. And once they do - you should be happy! These guys did a fantastic job installing a water softener at my house. It required extensive piping and I was very very pleased with their job. Very. So much that when I needed to replace an expansion tank at my other condo I called them again. They answered the phone right away, and we scheduled an appointment.

Yes, you guessed it right - nobody showed up, and nobody called. Later they called, apologized and we re-scheduled. You guessed it right again - the exact same story. I called again and left a message. This time they didn't even want to return my call. I called a few times after that, and now nobody even answers the phone - it goes straight to the voicemail.

I believe due to their high rating at Yelp they have plenty of business, the customer are lined up, and they can choose who they want to come to. I guess I just wasn't one of those.

We called Drain Masters yesterday because our drains were backing up and sludge was coming up out of the sink. They said they would be by within 90 minutes and actually got here in less than 30. Thanks for the fast response. Anyway, it is an old house and the sewer lines are not in the best of shape. Edward, the owner, was on the call and after some investigation, he gave it to us straight. We needed the sewer line snaked. Unfortunately, the clean out was not accessible due to some non permitted construction some time in the past so he would need to remove one of the toilets, snake the line, then reset the toilet. As an option, he said he would be able to cut through the exterior of the house in order to access the clean out. After snaking the sewer line, he would then add some additional length to the sewer line so that it extended to the exterior of the house. He would then restucco the wall so that it was good as new. Although more expensive, we opted for this option because it was a better long term solution.

Anyway, he got to work first with a 75 ft snake. Not long enough so he called in one of his workers with the big boy...the 175 ft snake. Bingo. After a couple of hours of hard work - success. He showed us what the problem was. Roots had grown into the sewer line and constricted the opening until water no longer was able to flow through the line. He patched things up as promised and now we are good as new.

Edward was polite, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to be around. I can't think that I have had a better, more positive experience.

They saved me! My tenants pipe behind the water heater broke and flooded the house. They were prompt in simply booking an estimate and when they were $400 cheaper than the plumber who was there 10 minutes earlier I decided to go with them. They spent quality time on the repair that took hours to complete same day. No small talk, just got to work, which I appreciated when I was stressed beyond belief. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they included some drywall which wasn't included in the quote that they mentioned at the end, but it wasn't too much more. Honestly, I'm pretty sure the job cost more than what I was charged but I'm unemployed and I pleaded for help, seeing that everyone else quoted much higher. I'm thankful that they rescued me and when I have a problem next time I know who I'm calling!

After hosting a Mexican food night, I ended up with a good chunk of a ""Burritozilla"" stuffing up my sink pipes. Not knowing where to find a reliable plumber, I choose Drain Masters based on the Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed. They not only came out on short notice, but arrived 15 minutes early. Clean and respectful - booties and all. I had a simple clogged kitchen sink. Not a big deal in the drain masters world, I'm sure, but Edward worked fast, cleaned up after himself, and made sure the pipes were running clearly before he left. He also took the time to answer my questions about a bathroom remodel that I am getting ready to do. He will get my call when I am ready to do my shower and tub.

I turned my water supply off to the house at the main water supply at the house. When turning it back on, a screw broke loose internally on the cage valve, leaving me unable to turn the water back on without replacing the main water supply valve.

I called 2 additional plumbers before contacting Drain Masters on a Sunday. Both of the other guys calls went to call centers and would arrange for a plumber to be onsite for time and a half before 6:00pm on Sunday and double time after 6:00pm. I then found Drain Masters on Yelp and called them. I spoke with Edward and explained my situation. He said he would be onsite between 8:00am and 9:00am on Monday.

He showed up at about 8:15 ready to go. He took a quick look and diagnosed the situation. He started on the job and I asked if he could also change the water pressure control valve. I had preciously attempted to change the water pressure and found that turning the nut had not affect at all on the water pressure. He immediately headed back and got the right valve, and returned to finish the job.

After the job was complete, we noticed an additional leak coming out of the watering system connection. He offered to come back later and fix that. He showed up a few hours later and took care of that as well at a nominal charge.

Overall I was extremely pleased with the level work professional work, the very reasonable charges, and the attention to detail. Edward is a very good plumber and I would highly recommend him to do any work you need done. I am considering some renovations to my bathrooms in the future and I'm glad I have found a plumber I can work with and trust. Thanks Edward!
