Very disappointed in the lack of communication. Drain King had come out a month before to fix the backing up in the basement. Due to an appointment he was unable to run the snake. He said if it happened again he would come back at no charge. It happened again. He remembered the job, agreed to come out after he had completed another job. It would be close to 5 pm. He responded to a text saying he was still coming. He never showed, never called and never texted. His voice mail was full. He had mentioned if he was unable to come he would be there Saturday. I called every hour, no voice mail. I texted several times, no response.
Communication is key to running a business. Life does get in the way, but letting customers know and adjust their own commitments would have been gratifying.
Another company was called on Monday and came within the hour.

We had a clogged drain line that was backing up the downstairs toilet, sink, and shower. We explained the problem over the phone to Joe the Drain King, and he quickly came up with a solution before they had even arrived. He said it would take about an hour and it took about an hour. They were quick, efficient, kind, knowledgeable, and gave us a really fair price. He left us with tips on how to fix some future issues as well. Our home can run water again thanks to the Drain King, and we will definitely be inviting them back if we have any issues and you should too!

This has got to be the worst service I've had from a plumbing out ever. Call to make an appointment and the guy says no problem, should be a couple of days and to text him the address so he can throw it on the calendar. No call no show so I call him and he answered the phone by saying ""drinking"" not even joking. Said he got busy and that he'd be there next am to fix the problem. No call no show again. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a plumbing outfit that actually cares about fixing your plumbing issue, not to mention honesty...

So professional and nice. He has a high-pressure drain cleaner and it was fantastic. He even went the extra mile and checked out why our bathroom sink was draining slowly. He fixed it and said, ""no charge for the sink"". I called on a Saturday morning and he came right out. I would highly recommend Joe, he did a great job and we are back to having the water flowing as it should! I will call Joe again if I ever need any plumbing issues fixed.

What a good experience, Joe was timely in responding to our leak under the kitchen sink... AND was even was able to respond within the first day to our delight and surprise... No more leaks, affordably price and professional job done. I would highly recommend Joe and would certainly use him again.

I don't think I'll be able to explain how terrible our experience with Joe at Drain King was in this review, but I will try. I would give him a zero if I could. We were having issues with our sump pump. When that goes out, nothing can go down the drain! We talked to him on a Tuesday, and he said he would be over that night or the next day. He didn't come over that night, so the next day, we waited for him at the house. We called and texted him letting him know that we just put my mother in-law in hospice, and we wanted to spend time with her, so needed to know when approximately when he would be here so we could go visit her. No response, so I sent him another text telling him to give me a text when he was ~ 30 mins out and I would meet him, no response. On my way back to the house, I called and got through to him and he said he would be there at the end of the day... I texted him again at 6:00 and he responded that he got delayed but would make it the next morning. This continued repeatedly (eight different days, with different reasons each time and on a couple of the days, kept saying he was even on his way over) You are probably thinking why we would continue to let this happen repeatedly? Well, as I mentioned, my mother-in-law was just put in hospice and during all this, subsequently passed away. So we were very busy and very stressed. He was fully aware of our situation and even gave his condolences stating he would for sure help us out on multiple occasions. Several days even stating, he was on his way over! After 3 different days of stating he would be here, we called other plumbers and were put on a wait list and will be using one of them when they become available, but they were all about 3 weeks out. So, we just kept hoping that he would eventually come through for us. At this point, I would not let him on our property! He must have some sort of problem or is just pure evil. I highly recommend you don't use him and pass this along to anyone asking for a plumber recommendation.

I had ongoing bothersome plumbing issues and contacted Drain King after reading their reviews. I also was interested in working with a locally based plumber if possible, so being based in the Longview area was a bonus from my perspective.

Joe and Loren worked on my plumbing issue and I couldn't have been happier with their service. They worked together well and were very efficient. Additionally I appreciated how informative they were about the process and the benefits of the steps they were taking. Their prices were also very competitive.

Keep in mind plumbing issues can be hard for customers to size, and these guys will take the time necessary to complete the job. This means if the job before yours needs some extra time they may be running a little behind their estimated arrival time. Please be understanding and know that they will take the time needed for YOUR issue, also.

Joe was hands down amazing! During a snow storm my pipe broke and the city had to turn off my water. It was a main water line outside. Joe was the only one not to just answer his phone but come out in the dark, find the leak and fix it! Did I mention he couldn't drive up our hill because of the snow, he hiked up it! He was so kind and professional. Thanks again for everything!
