I am so glad that I read the reviews from Google first because if I had read the 2 reviews on here first I might not have used the Drain King.
The owner came out on a Sunday about 2 hours after I called due to a basement drain backing up. He was very informative and did not waste any time. He fixed the problem and when he presented the bill I was pleasantly surprised at what he charged as I never asked for a quote beforehand and didn't know how much to expect it to cost.
I will use Drain King whenever I need a plumber and I will recommend him to everyone because I think he did a fantastic job at an affordable price and he did it on short notice on a Sunday!

Ok, I'm going to try and make this as unbiased as possible. Several months ago I had some clogging w/my sewage system. I searched online & found these gentlemen w/several very good reviews. I called them up on Tue. night Mar 21st & they were very nice over the phone. We scheduled for them to stop by the following Thur. While talking to them on the phone I asked about pricing, they said cash was best & it would be cheaper if I paid w/cash. On Thur., the gentlemen stopped by the house & began to clear the line. At this time they informed me that they were unable to get the snake through the line & did not want to force it through, in-case a blockage was there & possibly wedge it farther down the line. This makes sense to me, so I agree. They tell me the price to pay, which even paying w/cash did not become cheaper, but I'm like whatever they are still decently priced so I tried to pay them. They did not have any cash to break down what I handed them into smaller bills. They handed me a bill showing amount paid and how much left was due. I'm thinking ok, I'll give them the rest tomorrow, when they show up to bore scope my line.
During the time at my house they are obviously very knowledgeable & willing to answer my questions. I didn't think there would be any issues. We agreed to them showing up on Fri., I didn't set up an actual time for them to show up, so I cancel several things to make sure I'll be home for when they come. 4 o'clock rolls around on Fri. I decide to give them a call, no answer. They call me back stating an emergency happened & they couldn't show up. They offer to come back on Sat. I inform the gentlemen I won't be home that day because I was working & my husband was also working. Response was, no problem. So we agreed to that Sat. Sat night comes around with no phone calls or no one showing up. At this point in time, I'm thinking well I guess I'm not that important & maybe I should contact another plumber. Instead Mon. of the following week I get a voicemail while I'm at work informing me that they finally showed up, bore scoped the line & had no idea what was down there BC they couldn't get camera to go past the bend. I get home from work & like every other time there was nothing stating that they actually stopped by my home & not even a bill in the door. So now I'm stuck, I have no clue if they actually stopped by my house BC the previous two times they were supposed to, they were no call, no show. Now we get to today (Sept. 11th), one of the gentlemen stops by my house & informs my husband 'your wife owes us money.' I come out & give the $5 that was owed from when they snaked the line the first time. My husband continues trying to talk to the gentlemen to explain that we can pay it, but generally you pay for services rendered and in this world without any sign that services were rendered we were uncomfortable paying BC no one was home & neighbors never saw anyone stop by on that day.
Gentlemen tells me & my husband that yes the line was scoped and all that was needed to happen was the area around the sewage vent to be dug up and fixed. Also said that someone had probably ran over it, (it's 1 foot from my house & in a flowerbed with mature rosebushes, I don't see how that is feasible). Whereas the voicemail from previous stated that they had dropped by but were unable to scope the blockage due to not being able to get it past the bend.
Husband reiterates that yes we can pay, but yet again are uncomfortable paying for something we don't know if it actually happened. Gentlemen gets upset starts calling us 'low-down trash' & if we didn't want to pay then just tell him that. Gentlemen was unwilling to listen or understand our concerns & eventually just left. So yes, I would say these gentlemen are very knowledgeable about what they do, but in a business aspect they were not very professional & I would not use them again even if they were willing to come back.

DO NOT USE!!!! I called on a Friday afternoon for an appointment to fix a pin hole in a outside pipe for the next day! They took my info and told me they would call me the following day before they arrived, I got a call at 1:05pm and he said they were finishing up another job and would be here shortly, well it's now 5 hours later, dark and drain is still leaking! No more calls, nothing, very unprofessional and will never recommend them to anyone!!
