Marilyn M.At first it seemed like he was a great guy--actually I had called to cancel and the septic tank guy was coming and I thought they'd be in each other's wya--he called and insisted on coming by and said he wouldn't charge if he couldn't fix it (needed the mone?) So, I figured okay and of course he could fix it and charged over $400 and found the problem--a broken intake baffle--as a senior -- my town will pay for things like this--but I was told I needed a written statement to what was wrong. I called Monday AM and talked to his wife and she said ""she had to talk to Dave."" Tuesday I called and was told ""he came home late."" Wednesday I called twice as I had other information and even offered to let her know when to bid (the jobs have to go out to bid) and where to send it. I was told I get it (the statement) that day. It never showed up and I called again Thursday and was told I'd have it that morning. Again it never showed up. So bottom line--they never planned on doing anything and just lied to me day after day and I hate being lied to. I say if this is how they do business- and if I ever need someone again--it sure won't be this guy--I'd call Dash Drain. It seems they only want to do the job to get the $$$ and then lie to you.
Kelly M.We needed 2 toilets replaced. Dave came out and did the job for us. He did a beautiful job. He was very professional and explained things to us in-case we had any questions. He made sure to clean everything when he finished the job. We where very happy with the outcome of the job. We will recommend him to our family and friends.
Dave & Brenda at Drain King were great! Very professional, responsive & honest. Dave did an excellent job and walked us thru what was happening with the clog as well as the charges up front. We highly recommend Dave, Brenda and Drain King!
Thank you,

Sam D.I called this company because I had a bad O-ring that was causing a leak in my toilet. I ordered the new part and was looking for the technician to replace it.
Drain King sent out Santo who insisted that it was not the O-ring and was in fact a hose that was not plugged in correctly. He plugged in the hose , gave me a bill, and told me to call back if it continued to leak. The leak continued so I called Santo back. He agreed this time that it was the O-ring and stated that he does not work on Kohler Toilets. He then suggested that I ""call a plumber"".
After hearing this I called and asked for my money back. They had Santo call me back, he became loud and rude on the phone. When I told him that I would not be yelled at on the phone he continued to yell.
I then called back Drain King who proceeded to tell me how I was lucky they only charged me $95 and that they normally charge people more. And that they are not in fact a plumber they just fix drains and occasionally toilets.
Avoid this company at all costs, especially if you need a plumber.
Justin B.We had a back up late in the evening last night, the night before Thanksgiving! Drain King was on site within 30 minutes and had the problem taken care of inside of an hour and half. Thanksgiving saved!!!
The service was timely and thorough, the technician was skilled and polite, and he cleaned up thoroughly when he was done.
I would highly recommend Drain King to anyone who needs the job done right and quickly. Thank you Drain King!
Heather L.Thank you so much! We had a drain emergency with an overflowing toilet - turned out to be roots in the sewer line! I called multiple places and was either told no one was available until a week later or they didn't even answer their alleged ""emergency"" lines. Drain King answered my call immediately and was able to send someone the same day - in fact, he was able to get there within 2 hours! He was very nice and do an excellent job, also talked us through all the charges up front and explained what he was doing each step of the way so that we wouldn't be surprised at the end. Explained our options and cost too so we could make decisions based on what we were comfortable with. Highly recommend!
Completely unhappy with this company. The plumber that showed up was extremely rude and condescending! I would never use these people again. And they charge you just to show up which we were not told ahead of time.
I had a very good experience with this company. I called for a clog drain and had a very personable and knowledgeable technician, Chino, who was at my house within 45 minutes. He was helpful and answered questions and explained everything he did. Well done, Chino. Thanks
Louise A.Concern: gurgling, slow draining sinks, and toilets, along with a disgusting stench throughout the house. Found tsunami in cellar and located where the stench was coming from.
Contacted the Drain King out of Plaistow NH at the recommendation of a friend. Dave, the owner, came right over, snaked the main sewer drain attempting to clean blockage, tested drain with cold water running from sinks, and it drained better but still slow & gurgled.
Recommendation was to come back the next day with video pipe camera, going through 3"" pipe that goes through foundation to further investigate why it is backing up and still draining slowly.
Cost for today's visit:. $495.00, time under 1 hour, and the length of the sewer line to the septic is 142'.
10-28-16 Drain King (Dave) came back and used a video pipe camera entering through a 3"" pipe that goes through foundation to main sewer line. It was found to be real tight going in, appearing the pipe is downsized in the middle of the run from 3"" to 2"" back to 3"" with a possible 90 degree fitting underground. I was told this was a real no, no and it was recommended to contact our original contractor to discuss having the septic guy come back & repair it to code. He continue out towards septic tank and found a major build up/blockage on the inside wall of the drain pipe. He then used an expandable blade snake that spun, grabbed, cut, and shredded the blockage/buildup which removed all debris. The video camera was put back into the drain and pipe was new again running it through the whole line directly into the septic tank.
Cost for today's visit: $1495.00, time was roughly 2 hours, 30 minutes.
Total cost for the last 2 days: $2,280.00
This is guaranteed for 2 years to remain open and clear. If it should block up again, there is NO charge to come back and perform above procedure.
Dave further stated that he is the only company that provides a 2 year warranty / guarantee.
I was able to watch the video camera the whole time. I have to say it was rather cool and nasty to actually see the blockage and then to see a clear like new sewer line from beginning to the end right out into the septic tank. We are so thankful to see that there was no break in the line.
Prior to any of the procedures being performed Dave was up front and explained all costs involved. Dave was professional, arrived at the time he said he would be there, explained exactly what he was doing, was very kind, polite, and he was pushy when with his recommendations. While he was working on our problems he took a phone call and I was very impressed to hear that he was donating, volunteering his time and services to an area legion, to investigate and do whatever repairs are needed to help our Veterans. This ALONE gives you an idea of how genuine Dave is. He is TAKING CARE of those that gave and sacrificed so much for our Country.
I'll be honest, this was an expensive last 2 days and I don't know if this was normal or average prices for the work performed. It was the end of the week and we did know that something had to be done sooner than later.
These guys charged me $345 for 30 minutes of work unclogging a drain. Total rip off. I should not have paid but they gave me some baloney story about Rooter charging $450. Upon further research on line afterwards I realized how much I overpaid. GET A Price quote before they set out for your door. They were a couple of jokers and I was the fool. Very sour taste left by them, I felt violated.
