We were feeling pretty stressed out on a Friday night when we first called Drain It Rooter (thanks to their Yelp reviews and the fact that they were listed as having 24-hour availability). Our new irrigation system in our new house was suddenly leaking profusely at the same time that several other things were malfunctioning (Mercury in retrograde seems more real than ever)! Jorge was here within two hours despite traffic, diagnosed the problem(s) and made the leak stop for the weekend. He was back first thing Monday morning and ended up spending most of the day here, fixing the root cause of the leaking irrigation and several other problems we didn't even know yet that we had. He was very patient, and made sure we understood how things worked, why they malfunctioned, and the pros and cons of the solutions. He had me do a walk-through of the house to test everything and then he also walked through and tested every single faucet, shower, and toilet and proactively found some issues that would have required another plumber call down the road. We feel really fortunate to have found a local, family-owned, excellent plumber in our new neighborhood of Mount Washington, Los Angeles so soon after moving here and definitely recommend Drain It.

I reached out to about 5 plumbers due to a last-minute condition that was put on our house for a double strapped water heater. Jorge was very fast to respond (a majority did not even bother following up) and let me know he would be able to swing by the next day to help with the strap. He came by as promised and helped me met the condition in time for the deadline, literally would not be a homeowner if Jorge did not swing by to get that double strapped.

After the house closed I needed some work done and immediately gave Jorge a call to help with some issues that had come up during inspection. Again, he was responsive, professional, communicative, and provided options and insights for the issues at hand. Jorge's crew arrived a little late, but it was communicated beforehand that a previous job was taking a bit longer than expected and given a new eta. Once on site, they got straight to business and finished up all the work nicely. Jorge then came back to inspect the work, gave me a walkthrough of everything that was done, what was still needed and in order of importance. He also pointed out a few items the inspector missed on his initial inspection with video/photo from the areas not easily accessible.

If you are looking for a solid communicator and honest plumber he is your guy! Great experience with this plumber and has earned a spot in my goto list!

Anyone who is a homeowner and lives in an older home knows that feeling of dread when you flush the toilet AND IT DOESN'T GO DOWN. It gets perilously close to the lip of the toilet and you scream silently and pray. If there is a plumbing god, Jorge is it. He will calmly drain away your nightmares and charge you reasonable fees without judging you. Just like you need a family doctor, you need a family plumber. Jorge is mine!

Needed plumber for severely clogged drain and Drain It Rooter was a God send. They had a crew at my house within the hour to inspect the situation and provided a very reasonable quote. They began working immediately and worked tirelessly for 3-hours to resolve the drainage and sewer line issues. The crew was extremely courteous, professional and very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. My husband and I noticed that we no longer had hot water. At first we thought that the gas had gone out but it wasn't the case. We went outside and noticed that out water heater had burst and water was spilling everywhere. My husband remembered that Jorge from Drain It Rooter was excellent when he worked on the plumbing in our house about a year ago. We called Jorge and he showed up promptly but gave me the bad news that the heater had to be replaced as it had blown and it was already 15 years old.

Jorge showed up early next day with a brand new 40 gallon water heater. After removing the old heater, he advised that some of the lines had to be realigned as they were not to code. Ugh. However, these things have to get done. The whole job took about 4 hours and he was finished by 1PM. The price was reasonable for the amount of work that had to be done and in the time it was done.

Jorge was very professional overall and I can't say better things about him as well as Drain It Rooter. 10 star service.

We had George come out and troubleshoot what the problem was within a short time after arriving. He jumped into action to resolve the issue immediately. It wasn't to long before the drainage problem was resoled and the back up was no more. Thank you George!!
