Unending superlatives! And, apparently, an extremely rare find in the trades around these parts. Honest, responsive, quick, professional, courteous... and what is most important in a tradesman, Expertise.

I read the Yelp reviews prior to contacting Eddie, the five star reviews are accurate. He responded to my quote request within Yelps estimate; as I was able to give a list of repairs from another Plumbers quote.

Eddie itemized his charges for each task and the associated materials. Provided this client with common sense, plain english, explanations and choices when and where appropriate, and was able to accurately estimate how much time each task would require.

I will be calling Drain & Heating Solutions for Any plumbing issue I have in the future. I fully intend to contract them for plumbing work when I re-model my kitchens and baths, as Eddie is the consummate Professional.

Eddie has done 5 plumbing/drain jobs for me now. I keep going back to him because he's such a master of his craft, he's very responsive, clear, and delightful, and his prices are highly affordable.

Recently, I did something stupid, and I needed Eddie to return to my house to clear my kitchen drain once again. FYI, I had had Eddie come only 5 months earlier to clear the same drain, but I really goofed up this time by putting egg shells down it.

I hadn't realized that egg shells are strictly forbidden because they act like fine sand and refuse to budge and move down the drain, no matter what Drano-like product you try to flush it away.

So, Eddie came, educated me, quickly cleared the drain, and charged me absolutely nothing. He explained that his work was guaranteed for 6 months, even if I, the Customer, am completely at fault.

Now, I ask you, what Plumber or Drain Company is going to do that!

This is a wonderful service! Eddy is incredibly knowledgeable, very considerate and simply nice.

I called him for a clogged sink. I was able to get an appointment within the first 3 hours. He was running late for for our appointment, and he notified me of this in advance (Honestly in my past experience I didn't see this trait in contractors, and I think this behavior matters a lot!)

He spent 1.5 hours at my house. He tried clearing the clog, he went pretty extensively at his investigation, explaining how he was thinking about it. In the end, the conclusion was that I needed to cut a pipe, which is of course extra cost. I agreed to it. Before cutting the pipe, he continued looking, and then remembered about another tool that he unfortunately didn't have; however, using this tool is a better choice in my situation. He referred me to a different plumber, and didn't charge me anything. On top of that I know a lot more about plumbing now.

Also, Eddy took time to really clean up after the messes the investigation caused.

Overall, even though my sink problem is not fixed, I really appreciate the service I was provided.

Eddy, thank you so much for your time today, for your knowledge, for the reference and for fun conversations!

Eddie is great! He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the options clearly, and patiently helped me weigh the pros and cons of each. I really appreciated the extra time he spent helping me understand what was going on. He's very friendly, competent, and fair. I highly recommend him.

Eddie is a really nice guy. Competent, fair, ethical. As a first time homeowner, it's been eye opening to discover how difficult it is to find those qualities. Our project took a little longer due to a tricky faucet, but Eddie was dedicated and saw it through to completion. We really appreciated his commitment.

I've recommended him to friends, and they also loved Eddie. He's easy to talk to, easy to work with, and I'm so relieved to have found him.

Called Eddie this morning to fix a drain valve in one of my toilets. He answered and gave me an appointment a few hours later. Eddie fixed the valve in no time and was extremely great to deal with. I have found myself a go to plumber. Thanks Eddie!

Absolutely loved how friendly and respectful Eddie was. He was certainly very experienced and knew what he was doing. He fixed the long existing issue with my drain in less than an hour and left the place clean as before. I am certainly going to hire his services with the other upgrade projects for my bathrooms. Would highly recommend him.

I've had an intermittent leaky toilet for a couple years now. It would randomly have a small pool of water around the base for a few weeks, & we'd mop it up ... sometimes it would go away on it's own. But it always came back - maybe a month later, maybe a week or two later....Last Sept it stayed longer than most, so I yelped plumbers in my area (Andover) I got several quick emails. Several hinted at a very 'expensive' fix but they'd need to see it first, others threw out estimates in the $250 to $500 range - but could be more. Eddie estimated roughly $150 and said he could do it that day. I went with Eddie.
He came out, spent a couple hours on it - he suspected a couple minor issues - and replaced a couple parts adjusted a couple things and the problem has NEVER returned. Explained everything in layman's terms too. Cleaned up and left the bathroom spotless - it's been several months and it's never pooled again. FIXED! HIGHLY recommend. He is a true professional who understands that everybody wins when he does a good job at a fair price.
I've used 2 other plumbers in the past who were HORRENDOUS. One (Milltown) charged about $800 to stop a shower drip (that came back within a year) and tighten the hot water knob - the other (Shawn) abruptly cancelled the appointment - before ever coming out to give me an estimate - when I told him I would not let him rip out the existing water heater - STILL under warranty - so he could replace it with a MUCH more expensive unit. He claimed he 'diagnosed' the problem when I gave him the make and model number....he said mine was a ""piece of sh*t"" and if he couldn't replace it (it would cost thousands) he wasn't coming out...never even looked at it! (I called Rannai a week later who had me flip a switch on a switch bank inside the unit, drop the water temp down 5-degrees and the intermittent problem went away). ""Shawn"" had something like 31 5-star reviews - many out of state (??? - must have friends and relatives there). I have no doubt most, if not all, are bogus...

Don't get ripped off - called Eddie. Good job at a fair price. He's not looking to screw people - which is more than I can say for some others.

Eddie did a great job fixing a huge bathtub leak. The problem appears in the morning and he came in the afternoon to fix it very quickly. He charges reasonable rates and is very upfront about what he is going to do to fix the problem. Highly recommend!
