Early this morning our hot water heater had a pin hole and was shooting water out ALL NIGHT. Didn't discover it until about 6am. We called our Home Warranty company (AHS), and they were great. Said they would send Drain Guard Plumbing and Rooter and the tech would be there between 11-4 and his name is Ara. Well around 2:35. ARA shows up. His greeting was great and positive. He moved fast in diagnoising the problem. Needless to say, he went above and beyond and was fantastic in solving the issue. he did things the insurance normally wouldn't cover. I was very pleased with his work, attitude and professionalism. I recommend DRAIN GUARD PLUMBING and ROOTER highly. Ask for Ara. We are so lucky to have found him. Will use them for other plumbing jobs we have currently that aren't an emergency. So hard to find good people, especially plumbers and electricians. These guys are top notch!

I think these guys are GREAT. They showed up on time, were straightforward and honest, and got the job done. We've all worked with bad contractors and these guys are the complete opposite of that. And to be honest, I should know. I used to produce a show called ""Catch a Contractor"", which was all about catching bad contractors.

Our garbage disposal had it. We had company coming into town and the minute I called Ara, not only did he answer my call, we FaceTimed. He was able to help us out quickly and had such a great attitude. He was very professional and respectful. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and he didn't talk down to me. If you are a FAHW customer and are assigned this company, immediately request another company. Like all other home warranty plans, FAHW offers a cash payout in lieu of repair. For plumbing fixture replacements, that means either having the cheapest fixture installed or a cash payout that usually covers a small portion of your cost in the event you want to have your own nicer fixture installed. In 2022, we received a cash payout of $270 for a kitchen sink that had to be replaced. We spent $1100 on the new fixture and $300 to install it. Recently, we had a bathroom faucet blow out and FAHW offered a $50 payout in lieu of a replacement! When queried, the FAHW rep indicated that the payout amount was based on their agreement with the technician. And the customer is assigned the technician randomly, which is a totally absurd policy. So if you draw these guys, pick up the phone and call FAHW to have them reassign.

In addition to their lousy payout agreement, the technician from this company originally tried to tell us that we had broken the faucet due to misuse and was going to tell FAHW to cover it. After spending entirely too much time pleading with the guy, he agreed to tell FAHW to offer a payout. We still don't know if the fixture could have been repaired.

Our old water heater began leaking and both water remediation and a replacement water heater were required. As went through American Home Shield I initially was skeptical of the quality of work that was to be done. However, I was pleasantly surprised as Ara P and his team worked tirelessly over the course of a week and a half (allowing time for insurance approval and for water remediation and some minor construction) to get us a new hot water heater. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them for jobs outside of what our home warranty covers.

We just used Prestige Plumbing for issues we were having with our toilet and our shower. I was so pleased with the service we received. They showed up on time and had the courtesy of letting me know exactly when they would reach my house. They were very professional and did an excellent job; fixed the problem and were finished in less than 30 minutes. Ara, the servicer, was very professional and nice. I would definitely use them again.
