My instant hot tank would not heat the water and was leaking. I had another plumber come out and was quoted $1,200 because the entire system (hot water tank, cold water filter and faucet) needed to be replaced, not just the hot water tank. If only the tank was broken I could not understand why only the tank should be replaced so I declined to have that plumber do the work. Drain Doctors came out and replaced only the hot water tank savings me a LARGE sum of money. He showed up on time, wore shoe covers and a mask and cleaned up afterwards.

Arnold saved us from a backed up clogged drain DISASTER at 9pm the sunday night LABOR DAY WEEKEND!! came by, snaked the drain, & was affordably priced comparitively (called 9 other places on yelp & nobody would make the time) he was well versed & it was easily handled. thank you drain doctors!!

Ripoff and rude. Came to my house as an in network provider under our Home Warranty. Took a 5 minute spin around our problems, realized it was probably substantial work to snake/clear multiple clogs, and realized it wasn't worth it since the home warranty wouldn't cover what their normal fees would be. Told me he needed approval of the insurer (false, all covered procedures are pre authorised, which clearly includes drain stoppage clearing), and would come back. Never returned or called the insurer.

I tried reaching back out. Arnold was rude, dodged my call and then started blocking my number. Shady, dishonest and difficult dealing. Very disappointed.

I love Arnold! Every time I have an issue he arrives within a 24 hour period. I asked him to come repair a cartridge in my shower valve due to lack of hot water. When that wasn't working he came back the next day with an additional worker and replaced the entire valve in around 2 hours. He's very polite and easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

Arnold showed up at 7a (before I had work) to fix a blocked kitchen drain. He wore shoe coverings while walking around my home, and was reasonable, very nice, and easy to work with. Can't recommend enough.

Be aware of a guy named Georege in the San Diego area who said's he works for Drain Doctor. For 1 hour of work he charged $330.00, and refused to fix the mistake he made. I had to call Earl Fite Plulmbing (who has been in business since the 1950s in La Mesa. He fixed the job correctly and he gave me a discount.
