I've used Arnold's services for probably a decade or more, in each home I've lived in in Los Angeles. He's always been prompt, efficient, reasonably priced, and gives the desired result. He has done big jobs (with specialist sub-contractors, re-plumbing home sewer lines to the street) and small (installing kitchen water filter systems), and everything in between. In the event something went wrong after the work was done, he has always made it right and has done so quickly. I will continue to use his services.

Fraudulent behavior! Do NOT use this company.

Our realtor recommended this company for a sewer inspection. We scheduled for 9am but when we arrived at the home at 9am, he claimed he had already come and performed the inspection. When we received the inspection report, he had the wrong address listed. He then repeatedly emailed and called us and our realtors demanding payment for his services. When we brought up the incorrect address, he assured us it was a mistake and they did go to the correct house. So we sent payment because why would you lie about something that can be so easily disproven? You have to dig a hole afterall for inspection. We came back the next day to find clearly no inspection had been done. After payment, he blocked our numbers and won't answer our calls or emails. We are currently attempting to get our $400 back because owner Arnak Ovassapian FRAUDULENTLY CLAIMED HE DID AN INSPECTION HE DID NOT.

Truly unbelievable he would ruin his reputation with 4 realtors for a measly $400. Awful awful awful. You've been warned.

Drain Doctor was hired to do a septic inspection. They showed up at the wrong address, lied about being at the right address, and very rudely demanded money for a service they messed up. Had they just been honest and upfront everything would be okay, but it's just a total scam. Their business license is expired, and they're extremely unprofessional and unreliable. Please do yourself a favor and find another plumber to work with.

Lousy Customer Service! They do NOT return phone calls - NOT professional. In January 2022, through my Home Protection vendor, they were assigned and came to my home to assess three leaking fixtures and to unclog a drain. They needed to provide additional info to my Home Protection vendor for approval. For over 1 week, the Home Protection vendor and I both left detailed voice messages including a joint conference call. They NEVER returned any phone calls and I was assigned a new plumber. If you have a Home Protection policy and they are assigned, do NOT waste your time and ask for a different plumber. Clearly they do NOT value the network. I should have paid attention upfront and read their reviews. Lesson learned. Hopefully it helps other reviewers.

Arnold is the most unprofessional plumber I have encountered. I put in a request through my home warranty company and Arnold was sent out to inspect the job being done. He came over for less than 5 minutes (looked at the pipe that needed to be repaired and made up some bs that he needed pre authorization from his boss to perform the work)--well, turns out he is the owner of this company and the only plumber. Calls to the corporate number are directly forwarded to him. After his initial 5 minute visit, I received a call from my home warranty company saying that they don't cover all the charges and that I would need to pay out of pocket and she gave me the amount. I approved the amount and she sent over an approval request to Arnold. I then called Arnold and let him know that I was okay with the additional charges and could we please schedule a time for him to come back our. He said no problem and we set an appointment for Thursday from 9am-11am....I called him at 1030 to confirm that he was still coming and he said ""oh man, did no one call you from the office this morning? (which is a crock of bs as he is the office)- I cannot make it because it's raining and the vans are having issues, I can't believe no one called you from the office."" I asked when he was able to come out and he said ""Saturday, dec 11 from 11am-1pm."" I said this is ""for sure and confirmed?"" He replied yes. Well Saturday comes around and when I called him around 1030 am to confirm our appointment he did not answer, I then called him several times throughout the day and nothing...he totally ghosted and blocked my number. Terrible company, terrible service, a liar of a plumber. DO NOT USE THIS DISHONEST AND UNRELIABLE PLUMBER.

I've worked with Arnold a handful of times and he and his team are the best of the best. Absolute professionals. On one occasion one of my tenants was having a leak in their kitchen and Arnold was able to come the same day. Even my tenants later reached out to me to say how great the service was. They provide fair pricing which is hard to find these days. Even harder is finding someone reliable and dependable so considering everything, the choice is a no brainer. I highly recommend going with Drain Doctors!

This has to be the best plumbing company I have ever come across. I was fortunate enough to be assigned to this company by my home warranty because the first company I was assigned to never submitted their report after a week of coming out to look at my water heater. Arnold is friendly, very professional, very knowledgeable and is probably one of the best in his job. Within two days (diagnoses and then replacement), my water heater was replaced. He also explained how to maintain the water heater to avoid any repairs and unnecessary service calls to maintain it. I highly recommend this company. I'll definitely use him again in the future.

My instant hot tank would not heat the water and was leaking. I had another plumber come out and was quoted $1,200 because the entire system (hot water tank, cold water filter and faucet) needed to be replaced, not just the hot water tank. If only the tank was broken I could not understand why only the tank should be replaced so I declined to have that plumber do the work. Drain Doctors came out and replaced only the hot water tank savings me a LARGE sum of money. He showed up on time, wore shoe covers and a mask and cleaned up afterwards.
