I had a warranty work for Waste King Disposal that needed to replace. Mike was one of the agent that works with the manufacturer of Waste King. He came out on Saturday on time and finished the job in less than an hour. He had an assistant with him, and the assistant took the waste stopper that prevents the waste from coming up accidently. They left, and I noticed the stopper was not there. Before I even called, he called and had the stopper delivered to me in Lafayette all the way from Antioch. I appreciated his completion of the project properly.

We have 13 faulty water valves in our 5 year old home. We enlisted Home Adviser to find us a plumber to replace them, and we got Mike from Drain Doctors and Plumbers. Mike came out 1-24-19 and quoted the job, and we accepted. He returned on 1-25-19 45 minutes late, and obviously didn't have the tools for the job, because he started cussing and pitched a fit. He managed to complete 3 of the 13 valves, and provided us an invoice that was 1/2 the cost of what was quoted, and left in a huff.

We are very unhappy with this.

Who gives free, accurate advice on how to fix your water heater yourself?--Mike McGuire does! He called me back after my initial call and told me that PGE-- will relight pilot light for free. He suggested checking the warranty for free parts and sometimes payment of repairs. Because PGE would have come 3 days later (3 days on cold water brrrr & I tried to relight it via you-tube & manual instructions) and the because our warranty expired 2 years ago, we hired Mike to repair the water heater that day 12/31/18--He squeezed us in between his service call. It required replacement parts and installation. We so appreciated Mike for his advise and subsequently his service. He also made himself available for any other questions. The optimum professional you can trust.

I rarely post, unless i think it's really warranted. Let me say that this, Michael McGuire is 100% legit. He handled the problem quickly and assuredly, and gave me some helpful advice afterwards. Not too many people do that nowadays.

I've dealt with different companies before and they always left me feeling a little weird afterwards, but with DDP, my anxieties were assuaged, i didn't feel any uneasiness. He is experienced, very professional, and very knowledgeable, and i would certainly work with him again in the future.

I would recommend him over anyone that I've worked with in the past, hands down.

Doesn't get any better. Mike McGuire is a person of talent and integrity, makes himself available when you need him (which is ASAP with plumbing issues usually). He is honest and reasonable and you can trust him. Had a root growing in my drain line causing backup into the house. They came in and removed the root, replaced the pipes and even repaired the sprinkler lines that were broken in the process. They were done in only a few hours and it should have been a whole day job.

It's always nerve racking when you reach out to someone in the skilled trades. Often times it's a big risk, as you never know who you're going to end up with. Mike and Drain Doctors and Plumbers are a top notch outfit, hands down.

When I encountered an issue with my sewer lateral late in the evening, I filled out a request for information online and Mike followed up instantly. I scheduled him for 8am the next day. He arrived exactly at 8am the next day.
