Warning!!!Do not trust this company. The owner tony is a thief. They came out and get a leak dectection and estimated a large amount. Then later he threatened if we don't give them the job he will call the city on me. And they did called the city. This guy is bad news. Good luck if you call this plumber.

We called Drain City to come out for a leak at my dads house (89yo). After assessing the leak, they decided they needed to go under the house. So after going under the house, they told me it was one of two major issues under the house. They told me they would need to figure out all the parts and send me the quote. They even referenced possibly needing a new tub. I did not feel good about the visit. I found a second plumber on Yelp with good reviews- GD Plumbing and Richard Gray came out and in 10 minutes identified the leak, which was not under the house. He went and picked up the part and was done in about an hour (from assessment to paperwork). The bill, $190.

Take away- Research who you use for repairs.

I recently called Tony and the Drain City crew to do a new sewer line from my house to the street. They were fast and efficient. I called to get what we thought was a drain cleared on a Saturday late afternoon. Tony had his Super Super, Jay, at our house Sunday morning but could not clear it so we scheduled a camera for Monday. Monday his crew arrived and we discovered that roots had overtaken the mainline which meant very limited service until the roots were removed but we had also had a pipe liner installed a few years back that complicated things. Jay was able trench out the old clay pipes, replace them, marry the new to the lined pipe and replace the old cast iron in 2 days. We were thankful to be able to do dishes, laundry and of course use the shower and bathroom. Excellent emergency service for what turned into a major intrusion. Highly recommended.

Please...... I will advise anyone looking for a legitimate plumber with HONEST and credible business practices DO NOT hire this hole in the wall outfit.....This is a two person operation that hires non qualified personnel to complete their bidding...... let me begin with this, they charged me 4500.00 for about less that 10 feet of copper and 10 feet or flex pipe.. When I asked for and itemized receipt with parts and labor it took Tony and Jay 2 days to give me a bogus receipt.!!!!! Mind you I'm in a related field ..... -HVAC...... so I'm well versed in applying (performing best practices) when it comes to customers and what they need to see ahead of any job or cost of materials and labor!!!!!! Your a scum bag Tony!!!! You will not get far in your business !!!! Why did you not call me back to discuss you Bogus itemized bill!!!!! Don't worry..... I have started the process to recuperate what you grossly over billed me!!!! And i contacted the better Business Bureau......I will post the pictures of the top quality work your Goons Performed.... and your Itemized bill.....

Super nice on the phone and in person. Never provided quote for repipe, or responded to my follow-up message. I'm OK if you're not interested, just let me know one way or the other since I took time away from work to meet with you and show you around the property.
