I've been operating/renovating apartments for over 30 years so I keep good contractors close. Drain City Plumbing is one of those contractors. With a building in escrow, I needed a drain line leak fixed quickly and Tony was on the spot next day to give me a free estimate. He got the parts he need the following day, at a competitive price, gave me some great pics for my escrow, and a TWO year transferable guarantee to boot! What's not to like?

I had to swap out my garbage disposal and wanted someone to do it quick. Drain City was able to come out the next day and gave me a reasonable quote. Jay came to my house on time, was professional, friendly, and efficient. He did a solid job, clean and quick. I'm very happy with my experience with this company.

We were having SERIOUS issues! Both toilets and tubs in house backed up and overflowed at 4am! I started calling and leaving messages. They were the first to call back and give me an appointment. They were willing to come inside if needed with Covid Positive cases. When they got there they assessed and got to work. They used their camera device and found the problem. Main line issue with tree roots cracking in and blocking. 2-days later, after concrete work, digging, sewage line replaced, and left concrete looking good as new. Professional, always communicated. Sent videos, text pics, real-time work. Realistic answers, professional work. We hope we don't need them too soon but we know who we are calling when we do! Thank You for saving the day!

Warning!!!Do not trust this company. The owner tony is a thief. They came out and get a leak dectection and estimated a large amount. Then later he threatened if we don't give them the job he will call the city on me. And they did called the city. This guy is bad news. Good luck if you call this plumber.

We called Drain City to come out for a leak at my dads house (89yo). After assessing the leak, they decided they needed to go under the house. So after going under the house, they told me it was one of two major issues under the house. They told me they would need to figure out all the parts and send me the quote. They even referenced possibly needing a new tub. I did not feel good about the visit. I found a second plumber on Yelp with good reviews- GD Plumbing and Richard Gray came out and in 10 minutes identified the leak, which was not under the house. He went and picked up the part and was done in about an hour (from assessment to paperwork). The bill, $190.

Take away- Research who you use for repairs.

I called to get what we thought was a drain cleared on a Saturday late afternoon. Tony had his Super Super, Jay, at our house Sunday morning but could not clear it so we scheduled a camera for Monday. Monday his crew arrived and we discovered that roots had overtaken the mainline which meant very limited service until the roots were removed but we had also had a pipe liner installed a few years back that complicated things. Jay was able trench out the old clay pipes, replace them, marry the new to the lined pipe and replace the old cast iron in 2 days. We were thankful to be able to do dishes, laundry and of course use the shower and bathroom. Excellent emergency service for what turned into a major intrusion. Highly recommended.
