When you are looking at online business reviews within an area, from out of town...it's important to ask all the right questions and do the research ahead of time. So you don't end up going to a 'professional' for any form of emergency needs. Well, we didn't have an emergency thank GOD - we just had a simple request/job.

"Are you a plumber that can get the gas turned on for us? Yes, great how much? Mmmmm, that seems really high! That's the going rate? I'll check with the city. OK, you got this.
While you're there, please CHECK a few plumbing issues, air gap vent from the dishwasher, ck for any leaks. OK, get back to me."

To overcharge and take advantage of the situation because I'm not standing next to you, as a person that needs a professional....I would expect to be billed professionally.

I guess most Texas plumbers just take advantage of simple situations. AND to have THIS plumber threaten me with lien, when I was still under 6 days......SHOULD BE ILLEGAL. Payment for questionable work/photos and overcharging. DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

It's not brain surgery, it's piping, clamps, meters and honesty. Definitely do an in person interview of 3 plumbers way before hiring one. AND, most of the tricks of the trade are ON YOUTUBE. So, ck it out early and DIY so you DONT need to hire one.
